Objective To compare the learning motivation of Tibetan college students with that of Han college students,and compare the learning motivation of Tibetan and Han students with different majors and genders.Methods Learning motivation questionnaire for university students were used,and 172 Tibetan students and 156 Han students participated in the study,while their general population information were collected at the same time.Results Learning motivation for both Tibetan and Han students was above the average level.Tibetan students scored ((3.97±0.52),(3.47±0.58),(3.49±0.50),(3.23±0.58),(3.37±0.50)) significantly higher than those of Han students ((3.83±0.56),(3.15±0.71),(3.37±0.50),(2.99±0.65),(3.20±0.53),P＜ 0.05) in hankering for capability,tendency of altruism,intrinsic motivation,extrinsic motivation and total motivation score.Tibetan boys ' score in altruistic orientation (3.48±0.54) was much higher than that of girls(3.45±0.61,P＜0.05).For Tibetan students,those who majored in liberal arts scored much more in all items than those who majored in science (P＜ 0.05).For Han students,there was no significant difference in the scores of boys' and girls'(P＞0.05).For those Han students who majored in liberal arts,their scores in hankering for capability,tendency of altruism and intrinsic motivation((3.17±0.49),(3.32±0.73),(3.47±0.46))were significantly higher than those who majored in science((2.91±0.56),(2.98±0.65),(3.28±0.52),P＜0.05).Conclusions (1)The Tibetan students showed stronger motivation than Han students.(2) Gender plays a different role in the learning motivation of Tibetan and Han students,that is,compared with the Tibetan girls,Tibetan boys have stronger motivation in altruistic orientation.For Han students,there is no significant difference between male and female students' learning motivation.(3) Tibetan and Han students from different majors show the same trend in learning motivation,that is,for both the Han students and Tibetan students,liberal arts students' learning motivation is higher than that of the science students.

Objective To assess left ventricular(LV) longitudinal strain in patients with coronary heart disease by two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (2DSTI),and to explore the clinical value of 2D longitudinal strain in detecting myocardial ischemia. Methods Forty-four patients with coronary heart disease (CHD group) and 28 age-matched subjects (control group) were enrolled into this study. The two-dimensional data were obtained in apical 4-chamble, 2-chamber and long axis view. And the longitudinal strains of every segments, the average longitudinal strain of LV 18 segments (SL18), the average longitudinal strain of 12 segments (SL12,excluded the 6 apical segments) were analyzed. Results In the patients with CHD, the longitudinal strain of ischemia segments and the global LV longitudinal strain were significantly decreased than that of the control subjects. Both in patients with CHD and in control subjects,the longitudinal strains in apical segments were higher than that of middle and basal segments. There was significant difference between SL18 and SL12 ( P=0.027 in CHD group and P =0.003 in control group).Receiver operating curve (ROC) analysis demonstrated that the cutoff point of SL18 to detect myocardial ischemia was - 18.8％ (sensitivity 80.2％ and specificity 74.1％ ) ,and the cutoff point of SL12 to detect myocardial ischemia was - 17.8％ ( sensitivity 81.7％ and specificity 85.6％ ). Conclusions 2D longitudinal strain was sensitive to detect myocardial ischemia, SL12 was better than SL18 in detecting myocardial ischemia. 2DSTI might be useful for identifying patients with severe CHD.

Objective To assess the left ventricular function of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and its correlation with cardiac troponin T (cTnT) and specific manifestation of electrocardiogram (ECG) by automated function imaging (AFI) of two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging.Methods Forty-six AMI patients who had AMI for the first time and had been treated by primary percutaneous coronary intervention and 30 healthy controls who were age and sex-related to infarct group were involved.The values of cTnT within 24 hours after admission of AMI patients were recorded and the values of ST segment elevation were measured accurately.All the subjects were analyzed for longitudinal peak systolic strain (LPSS) values and the bull' s eyes by AFI.Results Compared to control group, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), global and infarcted LPSS of infarct group were significantly different and the values of ST elevation of infarct group were higher than those of control group.Both global,infarcted segmental LPSS were significant closely correlated to LVEF and cTnT,respectively (P＜0.001,all).Both global, infarcted segmental LPSS were correlated to ST elevation (P ＜0.05,all).Global LPSS had the closest correlation with LVEF (r = -0.565, P＜0.001) and so did infarcted LPSS with cTnT (r = 0.432, P ＜0.01).Conclusions As a procedural simple and rapid diagnostic tool,AFI provides reliable and useful information of the assessment of AMI.Both global and infarcted segmental LPSS have well described left ventricular function of AMI patients.Compared to LVEF, LPSS was more closely correlated to cTnT and ST segment elevation, which meant that LPSS was more sensitive and more closely related to real infarct size and actual involved range of AMI.

Objective To assess the correlation between time during admission to percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and left ventricular function recovery of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) by two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (STI).The clinical value of STI in assessing therapeutic effect of AMI treated by PCI and estimation of the prognosis were discussed.Methods Sixty-one AMI patients who had AMI for the first time and had been treated by primary PCI were enrolled.Dynamic images were acquired before PCI,at 7 days after PCI and 30 days after PCI and analyzed by STI.The time during admission to PCI of AMI patients was recorded accurately.Dynamic images were analyzed for longitudinal peak systolic strain (LPSS) values (global,infarcted area) by STI.According to the comparison of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) before PCI and 30 days after PCI,patients were divided into left ventricular function improved group (ΔLVEF≥5 ％) and not-improved group,and the values of LPSS and time during admission to PCI were compared between the two group respectively.Results Compared to not-improved group,the time during admission to PCI in improved group was lower ( P ＜0.001),infarcted segmental LPSS at 7 days after PCI ( P ＜0.05) and both global ( P ＜0.001) and infarcted segmental LPSS ( P ＜0.001) at 30 days after PCI in improved group were higher than those in not-improved group.Linear regression analysis showed that both global and infarcted segmental LPSS were significant correlated to LVEF respectively ( P ＜0.001,all).Infarcted segmental LPSS at 7 days after PCI were correlated to the time during admission to PCI ( P ＜0.05).LVEF ( r =0.303,P ＜0.05),global ( r =0.300,P ＜0.05)and infarcted segmental LPSS ( r =0.590,P ＜0.001) at 30 days after PCI were correlated to the time during admission to PCI.Conclusions STI provides reliable and useful clinical information for the assessment of therapeutic effect of AMI treated by PCI and estimation of the prognosis by sensitively presenting the close correlation between time during admission to PCI and left ventricular function recovery of AMI patients.

Objective of this study was to detect the expression of HtrA2 and WT1 mRNA in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and investigate the relationship of their expression levels with clinical variates and correlation between them. The expression levels of HtrA2 and WT1 were measured by RQ-PCR in bone marrow cells in 104 newly diagnosed AML patients and leukemia cell lines (K562, HL-60, NB4, Kasumi-1, U937), and the relationship between expression level and clinical parameters (age, sex, WBC count, diagnosis and prognosis) was investigated. The results showed that (1) the expression of HtrA2 gene in newly diagnosed AML was lower than that of the normal controls (P < 0.01), while expression of WT1 gene in newly diagnosed AML was higher than that of the normal controls (P < 0.01), the expression levels of HtrA2 and WT1 genes both did not correlate with age, sex and WBC counts of patients. There were no significant difference of HtrA2 gene expression between different NCCN prognosis group, while WT1 gene expression in better-risk group was significantly lower than that in intermediate-risk group (P = 0.003). The HtrA2 expression level rose after treatment in both CR group and non-CR group (P < 0.05), while WT1 expression level significantly decreased after treatment only in CR group (P < 0.01). Negative correlation between HtrA2 and WT1 expression was also observed (r = -0.249, P = 0.011). It is concluded that the low expression of HtrA2 and high expression of WT1 are closely related with occurrence and development of acute leukemia, so up-regulating expression of HtrA2 and interfering expression of WT1 may become the targets for leukemia therapy in the future.

OBJECTIVETo analyze effects of fracture of processus styloideus ulnae on prognosis in the treatment of distal radial fracture of type C according to AO classification.

METHODSThis was a retrospective case-control study, and the information was got ten through case evaluation and follow-up, including sex, age, patient satisfaction, Gartland & Werley score and radiographic score. There were 76 patient treated with open reduction and plate fixation in People's Hospital Affiliated to Peking University from July 2006 to July 2011. All the patients were divided into two groups: no combination with fracture of processus styloideus ulnae (group A, 56 cases), combination with fracture of processus styloideus ulnae (group B, 20 cases). The patients in group A and B were treated with open reduction and internal fixation; however the fracture of processus styloideus ulnae was not fixed. The indexes such as clinical data, bone grafting, joint movement, Gartland & Werley score and radiographic score were compared between two groups.

RESULTSThe ulnaris pain of patients in group B was more obvious than that in group A. The local VAS, palmar and dorsal flexion degree of wrist joint, motion VAS, patients satisfaction score, radial and ulnar deviation degree, pronation and supination of forearm degree, Gartland & Werley score and radiographic score were separately 0.1 ± 0.1, (51.1 ± 1.9)°, (60.2 ± 1.9)°, 0.6 ± 0.1 (23.1 ± 0.9)°, (28.7 ± 1.3)° (81.5 ± 2.6)°, (68.2 ± 2.7)° 1.9 ± 0.3, 89.6 ± 12.3 in group A; and separately 0.3 ± 0.3, (51.4 ± 2.3)°, (66.6 ± 1.7)°, 0.5 ± 0.2, (24.5 ± 2.0)°, (26.9 ± 1.8)°, (80.3 ± 2.5)°, (70.3 ± 3.7)°, 1.2 ± 0.4, 92.5 ± 7.5 in group B; there were no statistical differences in above indexes between two groups.

CONCLUSIONWhether the distal radial fracture with a concomitant unrepaired ulnar styloid fracture or not exerts no influence on mainly outcomes including function, radiography and motion of the wrist.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of port vein chemotherapy after simultaneous colorectal and liver resection.Methods 18 patients underwent carcinoectomy operation of colon or radical colorectal resection and irregular resection of hepatic metastases simultaneously in a single operation,and were given port vein chemotherapy in and after the operation.Result The survival rate at 1 year and 3 year were 83.3% and 55.6% respectively.Conclusion Patients underwent simultaneously colorectal and liver metastasis resection,port vein chemotherapy can improve response rate and prolong median survival to hepatic metastases of colorectal cancer.

The objective of this study is to develop a sensitive and reliable high-performance liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) method for simultaneous determination of artemisinin, arteannuin B, artemisic acid, and scopoletin, and study the pharmacokinetics of the four constituents in mouse serum after oral administration of the four components to mice. The analytical column used was Agilent Zorbax SB-C18 (2.1 mm x 150 mm, 5 mm). The mobile phase was acetonitrile: 0.5% acetic acid (60: 40) and the flow rate was 0.3 mL x min(-1). The temperature of the column was 40.0 degrees C. In this condition, we established an analysis method to simultaneously determine the four components. A sensitive and specific liquid chromatography-mass spectrometric (LC-MS) method was developed and validated for the determination of artemisin in derivatives in mice plasma. The method we established has a linear range of 5-3 000 μg x L(-1) with a good sensitivity and specificity for all of the four components. This method is simple, rapid, accurate and suitable for the determination of the content of the four compounds.

Objective To detection the urine of bacteria hyphae and intracellular bacterial communities in patients with indwelling urinary catheter and discuss intracellular bacterial comnmunities in the pathogenesis of catheter-related urinary tract infection.Methods From May 2014 to February 2016,95 cases with D-J stent indwelling were enrolled in this study,including 38 male patients and 57 female patients.The mean age was (43 ±21)years old,ranging from 25 to 83 years old.We recorded those patient g clinical symptoms,middle urine culture results.If the middle urine culture was positive,further pathology test and scanning electron microscopy for bacteria hyphae and intracellular bacterial communities would be considered.Results The middle urine culture showed positive in 21 cases (22％,21/95);The classification of bacteria included E.coli in 11 cases,dung enterococcus in 2 cases,klebsiella pneumonia in 4 cases,pseudomonas aeruginosa in 3 cases,epidermis staphylococcus aureus in 1 case.Among those 21 patients,9 cases had the symptoms of fever and shiver.Urine pathology testing found hyphae in 6 cases (6％,6/95).all others were E.coli infection.For scanning electron microscope,6 cases were found rodshaped bacteria and hyphae.3 cases were found intracellular bacterial communities.Conclusions The presence of intracellular bacterial communities made urothelial itself the source of endogenous bacteria of urinary tract infection.Catheter-related urinary tract infections in patients with recurrence maybe basically homology bacteria.
