Objective To establish the equation of chest CR for the estimation of age, and evaluate the significance of forensic medicine. Methods 5 measurements were selected to carry on the independent samples, and the status were analyzed by SPSS 19.0. Results The 5 measurements and age were line-related(P<0.05); Three group regression models were formulated; In a separate test, a control sample of 30 chest CR that not involved with formulating the regression equation was correctly estimated with 73.3% to 86.7% accuracy within 3 years. Conclusion The method set up in this paper can be used to estimate the age of Chinese Han adults.

Objective To explore the value of energy spectrum CT in the diagnosis of breast cancer.Methods Thirty-two hospitalized patients whose American Colledge of Radiology (ACR) breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS) scores were 4-5 by mammography received non-enhanced spectral CT scans.The spectrum images,spectrum curve,lesion's size,morphology were observed,and also the pectoralis major muscle and axillary lymph node metastasis were evaluated and compared with mammography.Results Thirty-two patients were confirmed by pathology,including 16 cases of invasive duct carcinomas,1 case of medullary carcinoma,15 cases of lobular carcinomas,and 11 cases of the pectoralis major muscle invaded,9 cases of the axillary lymph nodes metastasis.ACR BI-RADS scores 4 were 23 cases,5 were 9 cases.Axillary lymph node metastasis and primary tumor spectrum curves were basically the same.Energy spectrum CT showed the lesion's shape,size,the relationship with the pectoralis major muscle and axillary lymph node metastasis.In 40-70 keV spectrum curve breast cancer displayed a downward trend.There were no significant differences between energy spectrum CT and mammography for the lesion's shape,edge,internal calcification and thickening of adjacent skin (P ＞ 0.05).While energy spectrum CT exhibited obvious advantages in demonstrating the pectoralis major muscle invaded and axillary lymph node metastasis (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Energy spectrum CT imaging displays greater clinical value for diagnosing breast cancer,and it can provide multi-parameter image for supporting clinical practice.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of chest digital tomosynthesis(DTS)for lung lesion screening by comparing the effective dose of chest DTS with chest digital radiography(DR),low-dose MSCT and MSCT examinations.Methods The Fluke lung/chest phantom underwent posterior-anterior (PA),left lateral(LAT)chest DR and DTS with automatic exposure control technique.Using RTI DoseGuard and WinODS,the dose area product(DAP)and effective dose of PA,LAT and total DTS were calculated.CareDose technique was used for MSCT and low-dose MSCT scans,the dose length products (DLP)was acquired.According to the DLP to E(k)conversion coefficient in ICRP 103,the effective dose of low-dose MSCT and MSCT were calculated.Paired t test was used for comparison of the mean effective dose of DTS,DR and low-dose MSCT.Results The mean effective dose was 0.1 3 mSv for chest DR and 0.11 mSv for DTS examination.The mean effective dose of low-dose MSCT and MSCT scans were 1.13 mSv and 6.38 mSv.The effective dose of chest DTS was comparable to that of chest DR,and was approximately 1/10 and 1/60 times lower than that of low-dose MSCT and MSCT scans.There was no statistical difference between chest DTS and DR(t =3.514,P ＞0.01),and there was a significant difference between chest DTS and low-dose MSCT(t =178.769,P ＜0.01).Conclusion DTS is a new X-ray tomography which has the advantage of low radiation dosage in chest examination for lung lesion screening comparing with low-dose MSCT.

Objective To explore the positive effects of dancing train to self-esteem and social function in chronic schizophrenia patients.Methods By random sampling,40 male and 40 female chronic schizophrenic inpatients with dancing train were enrolled as the research group in our study training.According to gender,age,education,diagnosis,hospital stays and other factors,80 inpatients without dancing train were enrolled as the control group by paired choice.Both groups were evaluated with Self-esteem Scales (SES) and Scales of Social Practice of Inpatients (SSPI) at pre-and post-training.Results Comparison between the research group and control group showed that it had no significant difference between every value of scales in male and female before training; after training the research group's every indicants was better than that of the control group,and there were significant differences.Compared between pre-and post-training,the research group had significant differences but the control group did not.Before training,no significant differences between male and female of the research group.Compared with male inpatients,females achieved significantly better scores in SES,SSPI and 2 items of daily living and positive social communication after dancing train for 8 weeks.There were significant differences between male and female inpatients in SES,SSPI and 3 items of SSPI at pre-and post-train.Conclusions Dancing train can be effective to the residue symptoms in schizophrenic patients and improve social function and self-esteem of male and female inpatients.

Objective To study the effect of calcitonin on the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor in femoral fracture healing in ovariectomized rats .Methods 80 female rats of 3 months old were randomly divided into four groups :Sham operation group(Sham ,10 cases);Ovariectomized operation group(OVX ,10 cases);Ovariectomy+ fracture+ salinegroup(Control ,30 cases) and Ovariectomy+ fracture +calcitonin group(Experimental ,30 cases) .Rats in Sham group and OVX group were performed ovari-otomy and killed after 4 weeks ,femoral bone mineral density was measured .For rats in Control group and Experimental group ,right middle femoral facture was performed 4 weeks later after ovariectomy .Calcitonin(16 IU/kg)were injected subcutaneously once per 2 days in Experimental group ,while those in Control group were given equal volume of normal saline .Rods in these two groups were killed after 3 ,6 ,9 weeks(10 at a time) ,femoral bone mineral density(BMD)was measured;hematoxylin-eosin staining and im-munohisto-chemical staining were performed at the 3th ,6th and 9th week after fracture ,respectively .Results Compared with Sham group ,rats weight in OVX group gained more(P< 0 .05) ,and BMD in OVX group significantly decreased more(P< 0 .05) .HE staining ,at the 3th week after fracture ,endochondral ossification domained in fracture healing ,and no significant difference existed (P>0 .05)in BMD .At the 6th week after fracture ,bone trabecula in both groups arranged in order ,compared with the control group ,BMD in experimental group increased significantly(P<0 .05) .At the 9th week after fracture ,bone trabecula in both groups arranged closely ,BMD in both groups showed significant difference(P<0 .05) .There was no significant difference of vascular endo-thelial growth factor(VEGF)between experimental group and control group at the 3th ,6th ,9th week after fracture(P>0 .05) .Con-clusion The results suggest that calcitonin treatment could enhance the bone mineral density significantly after fracture ,but it has no impact on the expression of VEGF in osteoporotic fracture healing .

Objective:To discuss the diagnotic and therapeutic value of endoscopy on chro-nic pancreatitis(CP).Methods:To analyse the results of endoscopy in 72 cases respectively.Results:Of 72 cases,69 cases finished the endoscopy,and the success rate was 96%.ERCP showed duodenal papillary stenosis in 61 cases,and thin-diameter-pancreatic duct in 7 cases.After therapentic endoscopy,including ERCP,endoscopic sphincterotomy,and endoscopic stent-placement,the symptoms of the patients relieved at different extent,and the effective rate was 100%.Conclusion:The thinning change of the pancreatic duct is one of imaging feature in chronic pancreatits.Simple duodenal papillary stenos is may be the unigue sign during ERCP.Duodenal papillary stenosis and stone are the main cause of chronic pancreatitis.Therapeutic endoscopy can protect some patients from surgery.

An α-amylase inhibitor (α-AI) was isolated from white kidney beans (Phaseolus vulgaris. L) by ethanol fractional precipitation, ion exchange chromatography and gel filtration column chromatography. It was a homogeneity glycoprotein demonstrated by SDS-PAGE and gel filtration on CL-6B. The glycoprotein contained 88.2% protein and was rich in aspartic acid, glutamic acid, leucine, threonine and serine. The carbohydrate moiety was consisted of Man, Glc, Gal and Xyl in a mole ratio of 2.42∶1.50∶1.52∶1.00. The glycan and the core protein backbone was connected by O-linkage as determined by β-elimination reaction. The continuous oral administration of the α-AI (150 mg·kg-1·d-1 ) for 7 days can lower fasting blood glucose and 300 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 α-AI for 7 days can improve the sugar tolerance on alloxan-dependent diabetic model rats. The result showed the α-AI obtained from white kidney beans had good hypoglycemic effect on alloxan induced diabetic rats and may have high potential pharmaceutical value as a regulative digestive-starch degradation in patients suffering from diabetes.

The study is to prepare taste masking and enteric-coated clarithromycin granules by melting and fluid bed coating technology. Clarithromycin and matrix materials were melted at a certain temperature, and then made into particles by fluidized bed coating. X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to identify the crystal and morphology of drug loading granules. In vitro dissolution method was used for the observation of the drug release behavior. The results showed that the drug particles size range was 0.2 - 0.6 mm; the crystal form of clarithromycin in the granule did not change; enteric-coated granules accumulated release in 0.1 mol L(-1) hydrochloric acid in 2 h was less than 10%, while in pH 6.8 phosphate buffer in 1 h was more than 80%. The taste masking and enteric-coated clarithromycin granules not only have good taste masking effect, but also have a good release behavior. It is expected to have better clinical application.

The relationship between bone mineral density (BMD) and Zn, Cu, Ca levels in the meal and hair of urban and rural elderly people were studied. 470 subjects above 60 years old (urban 205 and rural 265), 178 males with an average age of 65.70 +/- 3.48 and 292 females with an average age of 65.90 +/- 4.02, were inquired. The BMD and Zn, Cu, Ca levels in the meal and hair were measured. The detected BMD in urban and rural female old people was significantly lower than that of the males; The contents of Ca and Zn in the meal of the urban females were significantly lower than those of the urban males; The Ca, Zn in the meal and Zn in the hair of the rural females were significantly lower than those of rural males (P < 0.05 or 0.01). The BMD, Ca intakes, Ca and Zn in the hair of the rural old people were significantly lower than those of the urban old people (P < 0.05 or 0.01). There was a correlation between BMD with the Ca, Zn of the hair and dietary Ca, Zn, Cu or between dietary Zn with Ca, Zn in the hair and Ca, Cu intakes. The Zn, Cu and Ca levels in the meal nutrients were correlated with BMD to some degrees. Lack of Ca and Zn in the meal can cause the reduction of BMD.
