1.Clinical Analysis of 13 Cases of Glomus Tumors
Journal of Medical Research 2009;38(8):60-61
Objective To investigate the occurence of glomus tumor and investigate its diagnosis and treatment. Methods 13 cases of glomus tumors were analyzed retrospectively. There were 9 females and 4 males. All 13 cases were surgically treated under megaloscpe. Results All the cases were testified as glomua tumors by pathology. There was no recurrence during the follow up of 6 months to 1 year. All the patients were symptom free. Conclusion Glomus tumor has specific features on clinical presentation. Mierosurgieal excision under megaloscpe is fill elective method.
2.Injunctions in Chronic Disease Patients and Coping Methods
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2014;(10):982-984
Injunction is a conception of transactional analysis. It is an injunctive message delivered from parent to children. Injunction is important for development of personality. We suppose that a person who received more injunctions may tend to have more psychological problems. If chronic disease patients have some injunctions, they may show some psychological characteristics which are not conductive for rehabilitation. This article analyzed the injunctions in chronic disease patients and some coping methods were also dicussed.
3.Effect of the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel on coilagenase in gingival crevicular fluid of patients with chronic periodontitis
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(2):213-215
Objective To observe the effect of the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel on collagenase in gingival crevicular fluid of patients with chronic periodontitis and to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Methods Forty patients with chronic periodontitis were selected. For each patient after scaring and root planning, the one teeth on one side in a person was assigned at the test group and treated with the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel in the pocket once a week for four weeks. The teeth on the other side were assigned as the control group, just with the primary periodontal treatment. The PLI、SBI、PD、AL、MD and content of collagenase in gingival crevicular fluid were examined at baseline, before administration and after administration four weeks. The COL-II level in GCF was detected using ELISA method. Results There were no significant differences in PLI、SBI、PD、AL、MD and content of collagenase in gingival crevicular fluid before the treatment(P > 0.05).While there are some evidences that periodontal indexes dropped down and the type Ⅱ collagenase level in gingival crevicular fluid also declined after using the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel than the control group(t =3.46,4.02,4.18,3.03,2.79,4.29,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Ultrasonic scaling using the emodin thermosensitive hydrogelas was more effective in reducing the type Ⅱ collagenase level in gingival crevicular fluid. And improving clinical parameters associated with periodontal health in patients with chronic periodontitis.
4.Effect of preoperative visiting by special visiting nurses before operation on relieving mental tension of patients
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(23):1-2
Objective To discuss the influence of preoperative visiting by special visiting nurses before operation on relieving mental tension of patients. Methods 80 patients were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group with 40 patients in each group. All patients were prepared in the same way except that patients in the experimental group were visited by the operation room nurses before the operation. The differences in heart rate and blood pressure were compared between the two groups as the criteria for judging mental tension of the patients. Results Blood pressure and heart rate of patients in the experimental group did not fluctuate as much as the patients in the control group. Conclusions Visiting patients before the operation can stabilize patients' emotion and reduce their stress reaction and mental tension so as to help them get through the perioperative period more smoothly.
5.Causal flow distribution of multi-channel electroencephalographs during visual working memory
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;38(2):69-72,110
Objective The ability of working memory (WM) is to temporarily hold and manipulate information for cognitive tasks. The aim of this study was to investigate the causal flow distribution of multi-channel electroencephalographs (EEGs) during Sternberg visual WM task to help understand WM mechanism from the view of neural information transform. Methods Sixteen-channel EEGs were recorded from 8 healthy subjects during Sternberg task, total EEG data for 80 trials were recorded and preprocessed. The EEG powers for each channel were calculated via Fast Fourier transform (FFT).The feature channel was extracted based on the maximum power, and the feature frequency band for WM was determined by time-frequency analysis. The directed transfer function (DTF) and the value of causal flow in EEG feature frequency band were calculated. Results The EEG power focused on θ band (4-8 Hz) and at Fz channel. The maximum value of causal flow was located at Fz,and the first 4 maximum negative values of causal flow were at C3,C4,C5,C6.Conclusions The feature frequency band for WM is the θ band. The causal source (responsible region) is at Fz (frontal region) and the causal sinks are at C3,C4,C5,C6.
6.The role of intestinal fatty acid-binding protein as a marker in the early diagnosis of intestinal ischemia
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the role of intestinal fatty acid-binding protein(IFABP) as a marker in the (early) diagnosis of intestinal ischemia. Methods SD rats were randomly divided into control group and superior mesenteric artery ligation group (SMA group). Blood samples were collected sequentially at pre-operation, 1, 2 and 4 hours after operation for detecting the activity of IFABP, CK, CK-BB and LDH. Results The activity of IFABP in SMA group elevated 1h and arrived to a peak at 2 hours postoperatively. Compared with control group, all the (levels) of CK, CK-BB and LDH in SMA group were elevated progressively with time after operation. Compared with control group, the significant elevation was at 1, 2 and 4 hours after opration. Conclusions I-FABP is a sensitive and specific marker in the diagnosis of intestinal ischemia.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
During the past few years, it was found that hemophiliacs suffered from AIDS increasingly from year to year. The first case of hemophilia with AIDS was found in the fourth quater of 1981. Eight cases of hemophilia occurred in 1982, and 12 cases of AIDS were found in the hemophiliacs in 1983. The goal of this paper was to test the titer of CMV, EBV, HTLV and EA in the blood stream of hemophiliacs. Hemophiliacs had much higher sensitivity to CMV and EBV than the healthy control. There was a significant difference between these hemophiliacs without any symptoms of AIDS and healthy man. The relationship between hemophilia and AIDS and the cause that the hemophiliac suffers from AIDS are discussed.
10.Evaluation of the target-organ damage in the elderly hypertension patients by ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2000;0(04):-
Objective To explore the prognostic value of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM)for target organ damage (TOD) in the elderly hypertension patients. Methods Two hundred and thirty two elderly hypertension patients who were involved at least one target- organ damage experienced 24 h ABPM. All subjects were randomly divided into 3 groups according to the number of TOD and the clinical situation of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and renal complications. 24 h ABPM recordings of each group were compared with one another. Results The number of TOD were highly correlated with 24 h average systolic pressure, nighttime average diastolic pressure, abnormal circadian rhythm and pressure burden. The difference was significant between patients involved 3 TOD and those with 1 TOD(P
