Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2014;34(2):289-97
An evaluation scale of medical services quality was developed on the basis of "patients' experience". The questionnaires were developed by, among others, searching relevant literature, collecting well-established assessment scales, measuring patients' experience and satisfaction, brain-storming, literature analysis. Delphi method was adopted for expert consultation. Scale items were screened and revised. The key indexes were converted. Field surveys were conducted for testing the reliability and validity of the scale. Our modified evaluation scale for measuring medical services quality based on "patients' experience" included 6 dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and continuity), and 50 items. The novel scale based on "patients' experience" may better serve the purpose of assessing medical services quality.

Objective To compare the diagnostic value for hysteromyona with trans-abdominal ultrasound (TAS) and trans-virginal ultrasound(TVS). Methods Two empirical doctors detected respectively 82 patients by TAS and TVS in double blind method. The results were compared with pathological results. Result The correct rate of diagnosis in 82 patients with 123 hysteromyoma focus by TVS and TAS was 96.75% and 86.18% respectively. There was statistical difference between TAS and TVS. The correct rate of combining use of the two method was 98. 37%. Couclusion Either TVS or TAS had its own merit and defect, Combining use of the two method could raise the correct rate.
6.Progress in structure and CO2-concentrating mechanism of carboxysomes.
Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2014;30(8):1164-1171
Carboxysomes are extremely efficient microcompartments committed to CO2 fixation due to tailored CO2-concentrating mechanism (CCM). In cyanobacteria and some chemoautotrophs, carboxysomes as organelle-like microbodies encapsulate ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RuBisCO) and carbonic anhydrase (CA). Together with active inorganic carbon uptake transporters, carboxysomes accumulate HCO3(-) in the cytoplasm, leading to high efficiency of carbon fixation. Based on the elucidation of structures and functionalities, heterologous production of carboxysomes has been achieved so far. In fact, the genes encoding either vacant carboxysome shell or only interior components have been characterized. This review summarizes the discovery along with types, showcases molecular structures and roles of carboxysomes in CCM, and presents their broad applications in metabolic engineering.

7.The effects of intensive sit-to-stand training on the balance and walking ability of hemiplegic stroke survivors
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2012;34(8):596-599
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of intensive sit-to-stand training in improving the balance and walking of hemiplegic stroke patients. Methods Sixty hemiplegic stroke patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group with 30 cases in each. Both groups were treated with routine rehabilitation. The observation group also underwent extensive sit-to-stand training. The training lasted for 15 min/time,6 times/week for 4 weeks. All of the patients were assessed with respect to their body weight distribution,Berg balance scale (BBS) scores, timed up & go test (TUGT) times and using footprint gait analysis, before the treatment and 4 weeks post treatment. Results After 4 weeks of treatment body weight distribution,BBS scores,TUGT times and gait improved significantly in both groups. The BBS,TUGT and gait improvements were significantly greater in the observation than in the control group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of body weight distribution. Conclusions Extensive sit-to-stand training combined with routine rehabilitation can distinctly improve the balance and walking of hemiplegic stroke survivors.

9.A clinical observation of heart rate turbulence of diabetes
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2009;17(12):933-934
Objective To discuss the significance and alteration of heart rate turbulence (HRT) of diabetics with ventricular premature beats of coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods 107 patients were chosen and divided into DM group(n=30), CHD group (n=32)and normal group(n=45).The turbulence onset(TO)and turbulence slope(TS) were calculated and analyzed. Results For the diabetics with ventricular premature beats, TO value was higher and TS value was lower than the normal group(all P<0.05).The value of TO and TS of the diabetics with ventricular premature beats were similar to those of CHD(P>0.05). Conclusions HRT can be used to estimate the integrality and stability of cardiac autonomic nerve function for the diabetics and it is an important factor for diagnosis.
10.Establishing a tibia-femoral joint finite element model according to MRI image
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(39):7623-7626
Images corresponded to the right knee of a 27 years old, healthy, male volunteer, weighing 68 Kg, 175 cm height, with no knee joint disease, were selected. The scanning was performed using 1.5T Twinspeed/Excite magnetic resonance tomography. The image was uninterrupted sagittal planes picture, and the scanning way was from the inside to out. The three-dimensional tibia-femoral joint model was established by the MR1 images after they were handled by correlation analysis software (Mimics10.0, Geomagic Studio 8.0). At last, transformed the model format STL file to IGS file, which can be acceptable by analysis software 11.0. On the base of this way, a highly simulation tibia-femoral model was established. It provides a guarantee for the further finite element analysis concerning checking the surface of femoral condyle cartilage to repair interphalangeal joint injuries. The result demonstrated that 3-D computer model established by using 2-D MRI pictures makes up the CT scanning deficiencies on soft tissue, which confirms the model closer to the real anatomical structure.
