Modern Clinical Nursing 2013;(2):45-47
Objective To explore the effect of chewing gums on gastrointestinal function of rectal cancer patients undergoing surgical operations. Methods One hundred rectal cancer patients were randomized equally into the control group and test group:the former received routine nursing care and the latter began to chew the chewing 2-3 gums for 4-5 times a day 2-4 hours after operation until anal passage of gas or defecation. The two groups were compared in terms of first time for anal passage of gas, first time for defecation and postoperative abdominal distension. Results The time for anal passage of gas in the test group was(62.52±19.99)h, significantly shorter than that of(70.68±19.34)h in the control group(t=2.184,P<0.05).The defecation time in the test group was (84.20±14.25 ) h,also significantly shorter than that of the control group(t=-2.204,P<0.05).The incidence of abdominal distension in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(8.00%vs.26.00%;χ2=5.741,P<0.05).Conclusion Chewing the gums,as an adjunctive therapy,is effective for the recovery of gastrointestinal function after operations on rectal cancer.
4.Progress on the rural health issues from the village community perspective:A reflection on“Study of village power and rural health service management mode”
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2015;(5):54-61
The core problem of current rural health services is a governance problem, that is, how the basic rural health resources can be used more effectively. Based on the study of history and reality, this paper suggests that in the existing “government-market” framework, the village is the third perspective worthy of consideration. Inside the village community, the trust, network and cooperation between people which were based on the traditional rural acquaintances society capital and the institutional resources in the organizations at the primary level will be able to in-crease the degree of organization, thereby reducing the transaction costs between the government or the market and rural residents. The village power will be able to better take advantage of government and market mechanisms, and thus solve the problem of rural health resource utilization more effectively.
5.The Expression of Metallothionein-1 in Mouse Kidney
Tianjin Medical Journal 2013;(8):793-795
Objective To investigate the expression and cellular localization of metallothionein-1 (MT-1) in mouse kidney. Methods The adult male CD-1 mice were selected as experimental animals. The protein of MT-1 in mouse renal cortex and medulla was detected by Western blot assay. Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence methods were ap-plied to observe the location of MT-1 in renal tubules and collecting ducts of mouse kidney. Double-immunofluorescence and confocal laser scanning microscopy were used to observe the subcellular localization of MT-1 in the epithelial cells of re-nal tubules and collecting ducts of mouse kidney. Results The expression of MT-1 was detected in cortex and medulla of mouse kidney. The expression of MT-1was mainly found in proximal convoluted tubules and distal convoluted tubules of cor-tical labyrinth, and proximal straight tubules, distal straight tubules and collecting ducts of ray medullary and medulla of kid-ney. The strongest expression of MT-1 was found in proximal tubules, secondary in distal tubules and last in collecting ducts. The intracellular location of MT-1 was in brush border of proximal tubules and intracytoplasm, in the distal tubule epi-thelial cell cytoplasm and in the basolateral membranes of collecting duct epithelial cells. The subcellular localization was found in the lysosome. Conclusion The different locations of MT-1 expressed in proximal tubules, distal tubules and col-lecting ducts may determine different roles of them in kidney.

Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2015;(8):66-68
Objective To investigate the effect of ademetionine assisted therapy on transferrin ( TRF) , myocardial enzyme spectrum and bilirubin in serum of patients with icterus neonatorum. Methods 86 cases of neonatal jaundice in the hospital were randomly divided into two groups.43 cases in control group were treated with conventional therapy, 43 cases in experimental group were treated by ademetionine.Serum transferrin, myocardial enzymes, serum total bilirubin levels and clinical effects were compared pre-treatment and post-weat ment.ResuIts Compared with control group, the TRF level of experimental group was higher (P<0.05), the level of Aspartate transaminase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatine kinase (CK), and CK-MB in experimental group were lower (P<0.05), the total bile acid (TBA), total bilirubin (TBIL) and direct bilirubin (DBIL) in experimental group were lower (P<0.05).The total effective rate in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group (χ2 =8.53, P<0.05).ConcIusion Ademetionine assisted therapy has a good clinical curative effect and could effectively reduce serum TRF, DBIL and myocardial enzyme spectrum level, which has important significance in the treatment of neonatal jaundice.
7.Clinical Study on Treatment of Hp-related Gastritis of Damp-heat Syndrome of Spleen and Stomach by Combination of Modified Lianpo Decoction and Quadruple Therapy
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(3):32-35
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of combination of Modified Lianpo Decoction and standard quadruple therapy for Hp-related gastritis of damp-heat syndrome of spleen and stomach. Methods Based on the principles of random, contrast, and double-blind, 118 cases of Hp-related gastritis of damp-heat syndrome of spleen and stomach were randomly divided into western medicine group (39 cases) and combined Chinese and western medicine group (79 cases). The western medicine group was treated with standard quadruple therapy (PPI + bismuth + two kinds of antibiotics), and the combined Chinese and western medicine group with Modified Lianpo Decoction additionally for two weeks. The clinical efficacy, TCM symptom scores, and eradication rate of Hp were observed by electronic gastroscope, rapid urease test, and pathologic examination before and one month after the treatment, respectively. Results The clinical effective rate of the western medicine group was 76.9% (30/39), while that of the combined Chinese and western medicine group was 94.9%(75/79), with statistical significance (P<0.05). The Hp eradication rate of the western medicine group was 87.2%(34/39), and that of the combined Chinese and western medicine group was 97.5% (77/79), with statistical significance (P<0.05). TCM symptom scores regarding damp-heat syndrome of the spleen and stomach of the combined Chinese and western medicine group were significantly better than those of the western medicine group (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical efficacy, TCM symptoms, and eradication rate of Hp can be significantly improved by combination of Modified Lianpo Decoction and standard quadruple therapy in the treatment for patients with Hp-related gastritis of damp-heat syndrome of spleen and stomach.
8.Evaluation of left ventricular regional systolic function before and after coronary artery bypass graft in patients with coronary artery disease using strain rate imaging
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 1997;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate left ventricular regional systolic myocardial function quantitatively before and after coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) in patients with coronary artery disease(CAD) by strain rate imaging(SRI),and determine the effect of CABG.The diagnostic value of two-dimensional echocardiography(2-DE) method and SRI parameter method was compared. Methods The values of systolic strain rate(SRs) at 9 segments supplied by left anteior descending were measured in study group(20 patients with CAD) at 1 d before and 10 d,1 month,3 months and 6 months after CABG.The regional myocardial function befose CABG was analyzed and compared with that of controls, and abnormal segments were found. Then the values of these abnormal segments before and after CABG were compared. Results In control group,SRs displayed a wide and negative peak and was homogeneous in every segments. The SRs peak values decreased, and the homogeneity disappeared in study group.Beginning from 1 month after CABG,the SRs peak values at the graft segments increased in varying degrees, and there was significant difference at basal segments of anterior wall, middle segments of anteroseptal, and middle segments of posteroseptal in the different periods(P
