This paper explores how computer-aided language learning affected medical stu-dents’use of English learning strategies.One hundred and twenty eight medical students in Beijing University Health Science Center participated in the one-year experiment.A questionnaire based on cognitive learning strategy was designed.Results showed:①there are significant differences between the experimental group and the controlled group in terms of their independent learning strategy;② the experimental group used more independent learning strategies such as monitoring oneself and team work while the controlled group used rote strategies.

The duration of QRS wave,P wave and T wave of ECG can be computerized auto-detected with digital signal process and waveform recognition technology. It can diagnose 15 kinds of abnormal ECG such as ventricular presystole automatically and print out corresponding diagnosis reports. In order to verify the systems stability and creditability, we used American MIT-BIH database to test our algorithms and got a good result.

Diabetic nephropathy( DN) is one of the main manifestations of diabetic microvascular dis?ease,and it is a major factor in the death of diabetes.At present,the treatment of DN is mainly focused on the control of high blood sugar and high blood pressure.Although angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and angio?tensin II receptor antagonists can slow the progression of DN,there were a lot of patients deteriorate to renal fail?ure.The role of vitamin B supplementation in preventing microvascular complications of diabetes has already been a focus of research for some years.In this paper,the role of B vitamins in the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus and DN,effect of vitamin B supplementation on treatment in DN were discussed.

OBJECTIVE:To strengthen quality management of drug microbiology laboratory and provide reference for relevant inspection institutions. METHODS:Taking measures from the laboratory document management,personnel training,quality con-trol,quality supervision,process control and biological safety,the elements of laboratory quality management were analyzed,and effectively measures were put forward to improve the management level. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The laboratory should es-tablish strict,standardized,systematic laboratory management rules and regulations,quality documents,operating procedures, work guide,etc. to achieve documented management;develop various forms of annual training and assessment programs to con-struct a professional team;strengthen internal(developing an annual internal quality monitoring plan,conducting quality control ac-tivities,regularly checking the suitability of the medium) and external (capability testing,inter-laboratory comparison) manage-ment control level,and reasonably formulate the contents and frequency by combing with actual situation. Besides,the laboratory should strengthen inspection process control,attach great importance to the biological safety management to reduce the risk of labo-ratory quality to a minimum.

Purpose:To clone and construct an eukaryotic expressive vector of ribonuclease inhibitor (RI) gene ,as well as to observe the effects of the transfected pLNCX-ri on the growth of C6 glioma cells.Methods:A segment of RI gene of 1.4 kb was obtained by Nde I/Xho digestion and cloned into pLNCX. Transfective agent and selective antibiotic were lipofect AMINE and G418 respectively. The expression of pLNCX-ri in C6 glioma cells was detected by Western blotting. And SD rats were inoculated by the transfected C6 glioma cells.Results:An eukaryotic expressive vector of RI gene was constructed successfully. RI content was remarkably higher in the transfected cells than that of in the untransfected cells. After SD rats were inoculated by the transfected C6 glioma cells,the tumorigenic time was prolonged, the tumor weight was reduced and the density of tumor vessels was notably decreased. Conclusions:These results indicated that RI gene powerfully inhibited the growth of C6 glioma cells via decreasing tumor vessels formation.

Objective To analyze the change and clinical significance of blood lipid and high sensitive-C reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism.Methods Fifty patients with subclinical hypothyroidism were selected as observation group,and 50 health people with the same gender and age were selected as control group.The blood lipid and hs-CRP levels in the two groups were measured and compared.Results The total cholesterol (TC),triacylglycerol (TG),and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group [(5.20 ±0.84) mmol/L vs.(4.79 ±0.80) mmol/L,(2.21 ±0.97) mmol/L vs.(1.78 ±0.60) mmol/L,(3.25 ±0.65) mmol/L vs.(2.83 ±0.51) mmol/L],high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was significantly lower than that in control group [(1.18 ± 0.15) mmol/L vs.(1.28± 0.22) mmol/L],and there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05 or ＜ 0.01).The hs-CPR in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group [(4.2 ± 1.1) mg/L vs.(3.0 ± 0.8) mg/L],and there was statistical difference (P ＜0.01).Conclusions Subclinical hypothyroidism can cause increased TC,TG,LDL-C and hs-CRP and decreased HDL-C,which may accelerate atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.It is necessary to timely screen and treat the disease.

Objective To study the effect of Sopfrology childbirth method training,Kegel training and Lamaze respiratory training (SLK training) on depression and sexual life of perinatal pregnant woman..Methods The women in 24 weeks of pregnancy who came to the clinic to receive the pregancy test were divided into study group(n=232) and control group(n=126) according whether they voluntered to participate the study.All the women in two group were subjected to regular prenatal care and the women in study group received SLK training additionally.The depression,pelvic floor muscle tension and female sexual function index were evaluated by Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),the Pelvic Floor Muscle Examination Grading Standards and the Female Sexual Function Inventory (FSFI) respectively.Results 6 months after delivery,the incidence of depression,SDS score,pelvic floor muscle tension score and live index standard rate in study group and the control group respectivelywere(10.3％ vs 18.3％),((43.6±5.1) vs(45.3±6.3)),((3.36±0.33) vs(2.46±0 89)),(81.5％ vs 65.9％),and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion SLK training program for perinatal women has the effects of preventing,treating prenatal depression and postpartum depression,improves pregnancy index and the quality of sexual life,worthy of further study.

Objective To establish the HPLC fingerprint of Herba Selaginellae moellendorfii for identification and comparison with other species of the same genus and to determine the content of amentoflavone.Method Separation was performed on ZORBAX SB-C18 chromatographic column,acetonitrile(A)-0.5 %solution of acetic acid in water(B)as mobile phase with gradient elution and the flow rate was 1.0 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was at 270 nm.The content determination of amentoflavone carried out synchronously.Results The characteristic eighteen peaks in the chromatogram consisted of the common pattern of Herba Selaginellae moellendorfii.The fingerprint coupling with similarity and Principal Component Analysis differentiated and classified the various species of selaginella.Nine species could be divided into 3 classes.The content of amentoflavone in Herba Selaginellae moellendorfii was 0.8～1.0 %.Conclusions The weighted similarity coefficient was calculated from 13 batches of Herba Selaginellae moellendorfii samples as high as more than 0.98.Among 9 species of Selaginella,5 species(S.biformis,S.involvens,S.doederileinii,S.trachyphylla,S.tamariscina)were sorted out by means of Principal Component Analysis in the same class with S.moellendorfii.Which indicated the possibility of bio-equivalence among the herbs of these six species,while S.picta,S.uncinata and S.delicatula are considered as adulterants of S.moellendorfii as their dissimilar fingerprints.

Objective To investigate the impact of functional enhancement of efflux pump system and reduced permeability of outer membrane on high-level multiple resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae.Methods Several high-level multiple resistant isolates with erythromycin MIC=128.0 mg/L,accompanied by concurrent resistance to several antimicrobial agents,were selected.13 bp inverted sequence positioned within the mtrR promoter region were amplified by PCR and directly sequenced to detect the possible gene change.The outer membrane proteins of the strains were extracted to analyze the constitutive profiles by SDS-PAGE.Results There were no gene mutations in 5 sensitive strains.All the 3 high-level multiple resistant strains contained the same mutation and exhibited a single A/T base pair deletion in 13 bp inverted sequence positioned within the mtrR promoter region.Meanwhile porin protein 31 ku deficiency was found in all the 3 resistant strains.Conclusion The functional enhancement of efflux pump system induced by a single A/T base pair deletion in 13 bp inverted sequence positioned within the mtrR promoter region and the decreased cell envelope permeability induced by the absence of porin protein may have some effect on mediating high-level multiple resistance in Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

ObjectiveTo explore the effects of small interfering RNA (siRNA) specific to Bcl-2gene on radiosensitivity of esophageal cancer cells. Methods Bcl-2 gene siRNA ( Bcl-2 siRNA ) was induced into esophageal cancer EC9706 cells by lipofectamine.Bcl-2 protein expression and apoptosis of EC9706 cells were detected by flowcytometer. Clone forming assay was used to determine the inhibitory effects of X-ray radiation combined with Bcl-2 siRNA interference. ResultsWhen Bcl-2 siRNA had been induced into EC9706 cells, Bcl-2 protein expression in EC9706 cells was inhibited, and cell apoptosis was increased. Bcl-2 protein expression rates of EC9706 cells induced with Bcl-2 siRNA1, A2, A3 (25.13％ ±2. 04％ ,38.87％ ± 3.34％ , 30.55％ ± 2. 73％ ) were lower than the control group ( 84.28％ ± 1. 47％ )(t =4. 01,3.04,3.64, P ＜ 0. 05 ). After interference, the apoptosis rate of EC9706 cells ( 33.86％ ±1.04％ ) was higher than the control group and siRNA negative group (5.51％ ±0. 14％ and 5.59％ ±0. 46％ ) (t =6. 55,6. 54,P ＜0. 01 ). Bcl-2 gene siRNA interference enhanced X-ray inducing apoptosis of EC9706 cells (56.76％ ± 1.24％ ), which was higher than the radiation alone group ( 24.51％ ± 0. 48％ )(t =3.59,P ＜ 0. 05 ). The D0, Dq, and SF2 of combined treatment group were much lower than those of irradiation alone group . The sensitization enhancing ratio was 1.32 ( ratio of D0 values ) . Conclusions Bcl-2 gene siRNA could enhance the radiosensitivity of esophageal cancer EC9706 cells and may has a good future in clinical practice.
