1.On occasion of 2 cases of bacillary dysentery in children under 6 months in pediatric department of Bach mai Hospital.
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):30-31
The bacillary dysentery can occur in all age but rarely in children under 6 months in the pediatric department of Bach mai Hospital had a warning in the food hygience and safety and drug administration for infant. The first baby was treated by Negram in the condition of disease free. The second baby was treated by Negram in the fifth day, within 2 days and discharged in the condition of disease free.

2.Preliminary results of carboxyhemoglobin examination in blood of normal persons
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2002;12(4):45-47
This study was carried out in 72 healthy adults of working age, non-smoking, and non-exposure to occupational carbon monooxide. The results showed that substances coming from factories did not pollute their indoor environment at home. The hemoglobin (Hb) contents of examined persons was within the normal range of 122-165 g/l. Average CarboxyHemoglobin (HbCO) was 0.789+/-0.382%, ranging 0.000 to 1.500%.

3.Evaluation of antibiotic choices in the treatment of septicemia at Bach Mai Hospital
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;347(3):28-30
Study on the pathogens of septicemia in order to choose appropriately antibiotics in the treatment. Subjects were 138 septicemia patients admitted to Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases from June 2001 to May 2002. All patients were taken their blood samples to isolated and culture bacteria during they had high fevers or before taking antibiotics. Some pathogenous bacteria were isolated and identified in 20.3% patients. The most common species were S. aureus (accounted for 42.4%), followed by Enterobacteriaceae (28.8%)

4.The postzosterian pain treatment: A comparison between amitriptyline and Di-antalvic
Journal Ho Chi Minh Medical 2003;7(2):104-109
Prospective clinical trial on two groups of patients: one treated with amitryptyline and the other with diantalvic. Results: At the beginning of study, no difference in the severity of pain in both groups. Group 1 had more effective to control pain than group 2. After one week of treatment, group 1 had one case (3.3%) while group 2 had 15 cases (35.7%) didn’t have any improvement. Amitriptyline had more advantages that Diantalvic to treat the postzosterian pain

5.The mobility rehabilitation situation for cerebral palsy persons in Ha Tay provine
Journal of Practical Medicine 2004;471(1):23-25
The study was conducted on 238 cerabral palsy palsy patients aged 0-68 years in 19 commune of Ha Tay province. In 41,2% of patients mobility function rehabilited by common methods, among them, 82% by oriental traditional medicine, 13% by western medicine method and 5% by combined methods, 24% by special methods. Provincial hospital played a very modeste role in functional rehabilitation from cerebral palsy and in Hospital at district level, the role was nearly none.

6.Evaluation on chosen antibiotics in treatment for bacterial infection in Bach Mai Hospital
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(5):28-31
138 cases with bacterial septicemia in Bach Mai Hospital were divided into two groups. The first group (n=51, 36.9%) was given single treatment (one antibiotic). The second group (n=87, 63.1%) was given combination treatment (two antibiotics). Due to the rate of cultured negative blood is high (about 70%), so the rate of initial treatment using antibiotic combination (63%) is higher than single antibiotic treatment (37%). Antibiotic groups used in combination treatment is aminosid antibiotics, in which amikacin is selected the most (27/37 cases, 72.9%). Third generation cephalosporin group makes the highest rate in single treatment (49%) as well as in combination treatment (58.7%). Quinolones, pefloxacin group used almost as initial method (single as well as in combination)

7.Rickets in children from 1 - 6 month old at Hai Phong Children Hospital in two years (2002 - 2003)
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2004;304(11):40-47
The study of 122 children were rickets from 1 - 6 month old at Hai Phong Children Hospital from 2002 to 2003. The results: the most of mothers were in shortage of knowledge in rickets. There were many risk factors: mothers keeping their child from sunlight after birth, mothers on diet for the first 3 months, solid food complement before 4 months. Frequent signs of rickets were crying all the time, perspiration, alopecia. Hypocalcemia was found in 80.33%

8.Some observation on the incidence of cerebral paralysis in HaTayprovince
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;463(10):54-55
The incidence of cerabral paralysis in Ha Tay Province is counted by 2 ways: the incidence on lower 5 years old children an “the incidence on newborn”. The incidence on children who were borned from 1/1/1994 to 31/12/1997 live to 5 years old is 3.01/1000 in which the highest years (1996) is 4.69/1000 and the lowest years (1994) is 1.97/1000. Rate of getting cerebral paralysis take 1/3 new cases at the same age group. Rate of death at ≤ 5 age take 1% nearly (112/1620). The rate include death in newborn. Number of ≤ 5 children death due to cerabral paralysis take 11% death cases total. New suffer cerabral paralysis rate from 1994-1997 is 4,18/1000 alive children

9.Dosage of nimesulide in tablets by second derivative UV spectrum method
Pharmaceutical Journal 2003;234(4):16-18
Used second order derivative UV (200-500nm) spectrum to determine the quantity of nimesulid in tablets without through process of deal with sample. Assess linear interval, limit of detection, limit of determine the quantity between level of nimesulid solution and value of second order derivative in interval of study level, degree of accuracy of the method and result of determine the quantity of nimesulid. The result showed that: process of quantitative nimesulid was built. The method was accurate, sensitive, precise, and reproducible and could be applied directly and easily to the pharmaceutical preparations.

10.The results of Denwer and Raven test in 238 cerebral palsy patients
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;466(11):21-24
The results of Danver test and Raven test on 238 > 6 years old of age children with cerebral palsy in HaTay province were assessed. With Ravent test, only 2% among them had not mental retardation, but 98% had mental retardation in various levels. Among the subjects of floppy form of cerebral palsy there is not any case of normal mental level, but a light level of retardation. With Denver test, 26% of cerebral palsy children had got normal development in comparing with the other. But there are different levels of retardation in various domains, 97% of cerebral palsy children got retardation in mobility domain, 85% in individual and social domain, 61% in adaptative mobility and 53.7% in laguage domain
