Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 2002;32(4):376-379
Chordoid glioma, a recently introduced clinicopathologic entity, is a rare neoplasm occurring mainly in the third ventricle and hypothalamus. The authors had experienced a case of chordoid glioma combined with Rathke's cleft cyst which occurred in the sellar and suparasellar region. Here we report clinical, radiological, and histopathological features of this neoplasm with review of literature

Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1981;10(1):281-286
Intraventricular third ventricle meningiomas are very rare. Fourteen cases have been reported. The authors present a case of third ventricle meningioma, and discuss the, pathology, symptoms and signs, and surgical approaches.

Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1991;20(9):825-828
Two rare cases of intraventricular arachnoid cyst locating in the posterior portion of the third ventricle are presented. A diagnosis was based on the radiological and operative findings and the microscopic features. Cyst wall fenestration by a direct approach resulted in good outcome. The orgin and the management of arachnoid cyst are discussed.

Primary intracranial hemangiopericytoma is rare and resemble meningioma on imaging study. It shows meningeal attachment, and is usually isointense with gray matter on T1-weighted MR image with heterogeneous enhancement and prominent vascular flow voids on T2-weighted image. Cystic type of hemangiopericytoma is very rare and only 3 cases have been reported in the literature which arised in the middle fossa, cerebellum, and occipital area. Ventricular hemangiopericytomas were reported in 9 cases, and all of them were solid type. Authors experienced a peculiar case of cystic hemangiopericytoma in the 3rd ventricle and report it with review of the literature.

A case of a third ventricular epidermoid is presented, which was diagnosed by conray ventriculography and computerized tomography. The tumor was subtotally removed through a low parieto-occipital approach and ventriculo-peritoneal shunt was performed. The epidermoid of the third ventricle is extremely rare and only a few cases have been reported in the literatures. It's incidence, preoperative diagnosis, surgical technique and complications are briefly reviewed.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1985;21(2):209-213
Intraventricular cysticercosis is the rest form of cerebral cysticercosis and almost all are within the fourthand third ventricles. Authors have experienced a case of pathologically proven giant intraventricular cysticercalcyst involving the lateral ventricle, studied by conventional CT and metrizamide CT, and report with brief reviewof literature.

10.A Case of Colloid Cyst of Third Ventricle.
Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1976;5(1):195-201
The cysts of the anterior third ventrilce were first described by Wallman in 1858. These cysts have been thought to originate from a paraphyseal remnant in the telencephalic portion of the third ventricle, from a diencephalic ependymal pouch, or from the epithelium of the choroid plexus. Dandy reported 31 cases in 1933 where this condition had been found at necropsy and added 5 cases of his own in which surgical excision had been achieved with but a single postoperative death. Since Wallman's appeared before the age of 10 and in only 3 before the age of 2. We report a case of colloid cyst the third ventricle in the age of 23 months and the literature of this disease has been reviewed.
