1.Assessment of the result of the interventional coronary arteries at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;315(10):25-31
During the last seven years, since 1999 the author carried out 172 cases of coronary intervention for treatment of coronaropathies, of which there were 128 males (74.4%) and 44 females (25.6%). The remarkable characteristics of these patients consisted of myocardial infarction: 34 patients (19.76%); stable angina pectoris: 47 patients (27.33%); unstable angina pectoris: 40 patients (23.26%); nonspecific angina pectoris: 51 patients (29.65%). Almost of 172 patients were placed stents and only made a low survey of coronary dilatation (19 patients). In 172 cases placing stents, there was one site’s lesion: 165 patients (95.93%); two site’s lesions: 6 patients and three site’s lesions: 1 patient. The survival rate of patients during hospitalization time was very high: 97.67%. The coronary intervention for treatment of coronary heart disease at Hue Central Hospital achieved encouraging results

2.Internal treatment for patients who had kidney transplant at Hue Central hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;0(11):16-21
A study focused on analyzing and evaluating the treatment results in 13 patients who had kidney transplant at Hue Central Hospital from July 2001 to March 2005, especially patients used immunological inhibitors according to regimen: Cyclosporin A. (Cys), Azathioprin (AZA)+ Prednisolon (Pred) or Cys+ Mycophenolat Moètil (MME)+ Pred. These regimens were used if the organ matched level of HLA (Q,B,DR, DQ) 4/8 (50%). If this level 3/8, Zenapax or Simuled - 2 specific anti interleukin-2 drugs must be added. Other preventive drugs are Cephalosprin III, Azovirax for virus prevention, Losec for gastric and duodenal ulcer prevention, calci-chanel inhibitor or beta blocker for treating hypertension if needed

3.The first results of primary PCI in ACS patients at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;0(11):54-60
23 cases (17 men, 6 women) with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) were investigated at Hue Central Hospital from 2004. There were 14 cases with myocardial infarction (60.87%) and 9 cases with unstable angina (39.13%). The rate of ACS-caused arteries was very high (>92%). Emergency treatment is success in 21/23 patients (91.3%). Good cooperation between related departments (Cardiovascular and Anesthesiology & ICU) is crucial factor for timely emergency intervention in these patients

4.Two rounds of successful renal transplantation in Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2000;10():34-39
Firstly, the Hue Central Hospital implemented successfully the renal transplantation. First round comprised a male patient with ages of 27 received kidney from his mother and a female patient with ages of 17 received kidney from her sister. Second round comprised a female patient with ages of 37 received kidney from her son and a male patient received kidney from his brother. There was no significant complication. The donors' and receivers' health were well.

5.Applying thrombolysis therapy in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;314(9):49-55
Study on 9 patients with myocardial infarction (MI) treated with thrombolysis therapy at Hue Central Hospital between January and June, 2004. Results showed that in all patients, angina disappeared within 60 minutes of using thrombolysis. Post-thrombolysis coronary angiography showed that MI-related coronary stenosis was opened in all patients

6.Evaluation of renal transplantation results at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;510(4):51-54
Study on 12 transplanted couples at Hue Central Hospital from 2001 to now. Transplanted selections were based on the compatibility of blood groups and HLA (more than 3/8). Anti-interleukin 2 was used in cases of HLA compatibility of 3/6 to help expanding the selections of donor-receiver. Transplanted patient who had positive HbsAg but no symptoms, normal level of serum liver enzymes, can be transplanted and carefully followed up post-operative serum liver enzymes. Gradually decrease doses of corticoid therapy could help to limit side-effects of corticoid.

7.Remarks on some cases of acute rejection of transplanted kidneys at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;510(4):68-70
Study on 2 patients with acute rejection of transplanted kidneys among 12 patients with renal transplantations at Hue Central Hospital. Results: the incidence of acute rejection was 16.66%. Attacks of acute rejection occurred between 4th and 7th day after transplantations. The signs and symptoms of acute rejection appeared in order: pain in transplanted kidneys, fever, decrease of diuresis, palpable graft enlargement, hypertension, increase in serum creatinine and urea concentrations, weight gain, anorexia. Treatment involved intravenous methyl prednisone (Solumédrol) with average dose of 250 mg/day for 5 days, followed by oral administration; replacing azathioprine by mycophenolate mofetil gave good outcomes. The signs and symptoms of acute rejection disappeared after 5-6 days of using Solumédrol and mycophenolate mofetil.

8.Laparoscopic appendectomy in children at Hue central hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;313(8):27-32
101 children from 4 to 16 years of age were performed laparoscopic appendectomy at Hue Central hospital from January 2001 to June 2006. The result: the complication rate accounted for 1%, the rate of cases had to open surgically operate was 1%, postoperative infection 0%. The surgeons had to use 3 trocars; abdominal pressures changed from 8 to 10mmgHg, abdominal cavity volume was 1.21(0.6-2.41l). Laparoscopic surgery in children had the same effect to adult with many advantages as reduce of incision, hospitalization time, pain after surgery. There were no significant differences about laparoscopic appendectomy indications and techniques between children and adults

9.Primarily study on the application of the fixation of screw Kischner in the treatment of the zygomatic fracture
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):30-32
The facial trauma is increased in few years and the zygomatic fracture took a high incidence. There are many surgical methods for treatment this kind of fractures the fixation of screw kischner is a effective and economical method. 10.Endoscopic Sphincterotomy for bile duct stones technique aplications and results
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;312(7):17-24
From March 1998 to December 2004, there were 92 patients (mean age: 46.9) treated bile duct stone by endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography and Oddi sphincter at Hue Central hospital had. Indication: the patients with bile duct stone were diagnosed by clinical and echographic examination; the patients who had a high risk with open surgery, or had recurrent biliary stone. The complete remove rate of bile duct stones was achieved by 81.5% of cases. This rate related to patient’s condition, the size, the location and the number of biliary stone. The method had a significant shorten hospitalization time and low cost
