Objective To explore the changes in Ca2+ concentration and mitochondrial membrane potential in cultured myocytes in rat subjected to hypovolemia shock.Methods 84 Wistar rats were randomized into two groups:hypertonic solution resuscitation(HES,n=42)and 0.9% sodium chloride resuscitation(NS,n=42).At different timepoint(pre-shock stage,shock,post-resuscitation 5min,15min,30min,60min and 90min),the cultured cardiac myocytes,some were stained with JC-1,used fluo-4/AM as calcium probe,the others were assayed for Ca2+ mitochondrial membrane potential by flow cytomety.Results Ca2+ concentration of group HES at shock,post-resuscitation 5min,15min and 30min was higher than that of pre-shock stage,but mitochondrial membrane potential at post-resuscitation 60min and 90min was lower(P0.05).Ca2+ concentration and mitochondrial membrane potential of group HES at post-resuscitation 60min and 90min were more significantly different than that of group NS(P

Objective Analyze the causes of ambiguous medical records to provide evidence for the DRGs.Methods 268 Ambiguous medical records were selected from 17 751 surgery medical records between 2010 and 2014 based on major diagnosis and major surgery.The single factor Chi-square test was used to study the influence of various inpatient characteristics on the occurrence of ambiguous medical records, and those significant variables were given assignment to find influencing factors of ambiguous medical records by using logistic regression analysis.Results Ambiguous medical records account for 1.51％ of all surgical medical records.Logistic regression analysis results show that such risk factors as discharging from internal medicine, death of patient, transfer between departments, elderly, long time of hospitalization, and tumor patients, as contributing to ambiguous medical records.All the results are statistically significant (P＜0.05), including discharging from which departments (OR=6.595, 95％CI..5.043 ～ 8.625), death of patient (OR=3.787, 95％ CI: 2.611 ～ 5.492) and transfer between departments (OR =2.746, 95％ CI: 2.061 ～ 3.659), which rank important risk factors for ambiguous medical records.Conclusion Analysis of the causes of ambiguous medical records provides important evidences for the hospital to improve its medical record quality management.

Objective:To determine the inflammatory factor levels and inflammatory cell percentages in the patients with cough variant asthma (CVA ), and to clarify their potential role in the pathogenesis of CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment.Methods:60 patients with CVA were randomly selected and divided into CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment group (n=30)and CVA responsive to bronchodilator treatment group (n=30).As the same time 30 cases of healthy persons were used as normal control group.The levels of interluekin-8 (IL-8)and esoinophil cationic protein (ECP)in their induced sputum were detected,the classification of inflammatory cells in their induced sputum were observed, and their scores of cough symptom were recorded. Results:The IL-8 level in the induced sputum of the patients in CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment group was higher than that in CVA responsive to bronchodilator treatment group and normal control group (P<0.05).The ECP level in the induced sputum of the patients in CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment group was lower than that in CVA responsive to bronchodilator treatment group (P<0.05),but it was similar to the level in normal control group (P>0.05).The neutrophil percentages in the induced sputum of the patients in CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment group were higher than those in CVA responsive to bronchodilator treatment group and normal control group (P<0.05).The scores of cough symptom of the patients in CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment group was positively correlated with IL-8 level (r=0.764,P<0.01), and the scores of cough symptom of the patients in CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment group was positively correlated with the neutrophil percentage in induced sputum (r=0.889,P<0.01).Conclusion:IL-8 and neutrophil may be associated with the incidence of CVA unresponsive to bronchodilator treatment. They can aggravate the inflammation and hypersensitivity of airway and cough symptom. The determination of IL-8 and neutrophil can be used as an accessory method in the diagnosis and j udgement of severity degree and curative effect of CVA in clinic.

Objective To compare the clinical diagnostic value of 320 row four-dimensional CT angiography (4D-CTA)and digital subtraction angiography (DSA)in untreated arteriovenous malformation (AVM)patients.Methods Thirty-six patients with AVM diagnosed by DSA were included in this study.Two independent readers blind to the results of all examinations evaluated the find-ings of DSA and 4D-CTA of each patient.All results were then documented using a standardized scoring sheet.Results The diagno-sis results of 4D-CTA for AVM lesions in all 36 patients were accurately consistent with those of DSA,including the position,size and vascular structure.There were 14 cases with the largest diameter <3 cm,20 cases 3-6 cm,2 cases >6 cm.Lesions involved only the anterior circulation in 13 cases,only the posterior circulation in 13 cases,and both the anterior and posterior circulation in 10 cases.Conclusion 4D CTA has excellent diagnostic accuracy in the detection of AVM lesions,including size,location,feeding ar-teries and draining veins,with similar value as DSA in the clinical diagnose and evaluation of AVM.

Objective To systematically evaluate the relationship between p53 gene codon72 polymorphism and onset risk of prostate cancer (PCa) among Asian population by meta-analysis.Methods The databases of PubMed,Medline,Ovid,Wanfang and CNKI were retrieved for screening the case control trials on the relationship between p53 gene codon72 polymorphism and onset risk of PCa among Asian population.The obtained data were statistically analyzed by using the Stata 12.0 software,moreover the data reliability and publication bias of statistical literature were evaluated.Results The meta analysis showed that the p53 gene codon72 polymorphism had no obvious correlation with PCa onset risk in Asian population.The subgroup analysis results on the control source showed the coden72 polymorphism in P vs.A,PP vs.AA,PA+PP vs.AA models based on the hospital source subgroup could significantly decrease the Pca susceptibility among Asian population[P vs.A:OR =0.680,95 ％ CI(0.546,0.847),P=0.001;PP vs.AA:OR=0.409,95％CI(0.260,0.645),P=0.000;PA+PP vs.AA:OR=0.513,95％CI(0.350,0.749),P=0.001],whereas the codon 72 polymorphism in PA vs.AA and PA+PP vs.AA genotypes in the control source subgroup based on the common population increased the PCa onset risk among Asian population [PA vs.AA:OR=1.664,95 ％CI(1.272,2.177),P=0.000;PA+ PP vs.AA:OR =1.314,95 ％ CI(1.020,1.693),P =0.003 6].The subgroup analysis was conducted according to whether conforming to the HWE equilibrium,the results showed p53 gene codon 72 polymorphosm was a protective factor for decreasing PCasusceptibility among Asian population in the subgroup unconforming to the HWE equilibrium [PP vs.AA:OR=0.251,95％CI(0.135,0.467),P=0.000;PA+PPvs.AA:OR=0.564,95％CI=(0.330,0.964),P=0.036].Conclusion p53 gene codon72 polymorphism has no relation with PCa susceptibility among Asian population.

Objective To study their chemical components of xianglingcao(Crotalaria ferruginea) and identify their chemical structures.Methods The compounds were isolated by chromatography and their structures were identified by spectral analysis and compared with the published data.Results Ten compounds were isolated and identified as vomifolilol(Ⅰ),genistein(Ⅱ),p-hydroxybenzoic acid(Ⅲ),5,7-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-flavone-7-O-?-D-glycopyranoside(Ⅳ),octadecoic acid(Ⅴ),octacosanol(Ⅵ),?-stitosterol(Ⅶ),?-daucosterol(Ⅷ),stigmasterol(Ⅸ),and ?5,22 stigmasterol-3-O-?-D-glycopyranoside(Ⅹ).Conclusion The ten compounds are obtained from xianglingcao for the first time.

Objective To report the results of a single-center, retrospective study on the effect of calcineurin inhibitors (CNI) withdraw for controlling infections and conversion to sirolimus (SRL)for ameliorating renal dysfunction. Methods A total of 947 liver transplant cases from 2002 to 2010were divided into two eras (Jan. 2002 to Dec. 2007 and Jan. 2008 to Dec. 2010). There were 234cases of infections after liver transplantation (LT) in the first era and 101 cases in the second era. And of 329 cases of CNI-related renal dysfunction after LT in two eras, 40 cases (converting group) had converted CNI to SRL, while 289 cases (reducing group) adopted protocol of CNI reducing and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) raising. Results CNI-based IS took up 95.8 %, 95. 3 %, 97. 5 % of the IS protocols with recipient survival time longer than 1, 3, and 5 years. The primary cause for CNI withdraw was infection (88. 2 %, 15/17) in the second era, and renal dysfunction for conversion to SRL in the two eras (83. 3 %, 40/48). In the second era, 14. 9% (15/101) of the cases of infections after LT experienced CNI withdraw. Of the 15 patients, 11 had effectively controlled the infection (77. 3 %) while rejection rate was 6. 7 % (1/15). The cumulative survival rate of the second era was significantly higher than the first era (P＜0. 05). The glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of converting group at 6th week and 6th month was statistically elevated as compared with that before conversion,respectively (1.28 ± 0. 31, 1.36 ± 0. 32 mL/s vs. 0. 82 ± 0. 24 mL/s, P＜0. 05). Six months after CNI adjustments, survival rate of converting group and reducing group was 85. 0% and 83. 7 %,respectively (P＞0. 05). Conclusion Reducing or even short-term withdraw of CNI may allow the better control of infections after LT, and the conversion from CNI to SRL can ameliorate the CNIrelated nephrotoxicity. These individually tailored IS protocols will benefit the long term survival for LT.

Objective To evaluate the short term results of repairing osteonecrosis of the femoral head by modified free vascularized fibular grafting through Smith-Peterson approach without cutting the rectus femoris.Methods Between January,2009 and September,2012,14 osteonecrotic hips of 14 patients who underwent free vascularized fibular grafting were retrospectively studied including 10 male and 4 female.The follow up period was 24 months.The preoperative and postoperative symptoms relief,recovery of hip function (Harris score),radiographic assessment (X-ray).Results All patients got postoperative ipsilateral hip pain relief.Average Harris hip score improved significantly (68.47 ± 5.33,86.80 ± 4.72 points in preoperation and postoperation,respectively; paired t test,t =18.724,P ＜ 0.01).Postoperative X-ray results showed there were no progresses of osteonecrosis and no collapse in the operative side within 2 years follow-up.Conclusion The short term treatment results of femoral head avascular necrosis were satisfactory by using free vascularized fibular graft through Smith-Peterson approach without cutting off the rectus femoris and it may be a relatively practical option of surgical approach.

Objective To assess the quantitative relationship between the distribution of Himalayan marmot and its ecological environment,the terrain,the temperature and the precipitation,using remote sensing and geographic information system in Qinghai province.Methods The distribution of Himalayan marmot was located by Google Earth and ArcGIS software and by using field survey data provided by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.The corresponding ecological environment of marmot including terrain,temperature and precipitation were derived from the spatial information datasets.All results were processed according to the overlay and statistics analysis using ArcGIS software.Results Seventy-seven point twenty-seven percent(153/198) of Himalayan marmot were distributed in the area of elevation between 3000 and 4000 meters.The number of marmot reached the highest when the slope was between 0 and 17 degrees,and aspect range was between 91 and 270 degrees,180 degree was as south direction.During the period with the maximum temperature of the warmest month of 14.3-17.5 ℃,17.6-20.8 ℃ and 20.9-24.0 ℃,the distribution of marmot reached 95％(186/198) of the total area.Meanwhile,most of the marmot were presented in the area with average precipitation of 46-108 mm.Conclusions A quantitative analysis of appropriate ecological environment of Himalayan marmot in a large scope is carried uul successfully using remote sensing and geographic information system.The study indicates that spatial information technology has important applications in plague prevention and control.

This paper focuses on the trends in wearable medical devices for the applications in m-health. The state-of-art technologies for the continuous and noninvasive measurements of physiological parameters, implementation platforms of wearable medical devices - e-textile, and body sensor networks are reviewed here with examples of related recent research projects conducted in different countries. In addition, we introduce our recent research project on the e-textile-based health shirt (h-shirt), which can measure arterial blood pressure noninvasively, continuously and cufflessly.
