Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the value of transcatheter thrombolysis treatment of acute A V internal fistula thrombogenesis in hemodialysis patients. Methods The acute A V fistula thrombogenesis in 32 hemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure were treated with transcatheter pulse spray pharmacomechnical thrombolysis (PSPMT). Results Acute A V fistula thrombogenesis was verified in all 32 patients by angiography and treated with transcatheter PSPMT. The immediate clinical success rate of thrombolysis was achieved in 97% except for one case. The A V fistulas were proved to reopen by post treatment angiography. Recurrent thrombosis was found in 4 cases, reopenning with transcatheter PSPMT was achieved in 2 of them and the rest 2 cases were undergone PTA because of localized vascular stenosis. All the 32 A V fistulae, were reopened after treatment without serious complications such as hemorrhage, pulmonary embolism and others. Conclusions Transcatheter PSPMT is a safe, effective and microinvasive treatment for acute A V fistula thrombolysis with higher immediate reopenning rate. Transcatheter PSPMT combined with PTA and intravascular stent grafting can improve long term patency rate.

Objective To investigate the effects of ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate tablets(Diane-35)on endocrine metabolism in non-obese women with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS). Methods Fifty-three non-obese patients with PCOS were assigned to the 6-month treatment with Diane-35.Body mass index(BMI),waist to hip ratio(WHR),F-G score and acne score were recorded before treatment and at the end of the third and sixth cycle after treatment.Serum total testosterone, follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),LH/FSH,fast plasma glucose, fast insulin and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)were obtained at early follicular phase and at the end of the third and sixth month. Results There was no significant change in BMI and WHR after treatment.Compared with those before treatment.F-G score, acne score, serum total testosterone,LH and LH/FSH were significantly decreased at two time points after treatment (P<0.05).BMI and HOMA-IR in patients with insulin resistance were significantly higher at the end of the sixth cycle after treatment than those before treatment(P<0.05). Conclusion Diane-35 can improve hyperandrogenism in non-obese patients with PCOS.However,Diane-35 may aggravate insulin resistance in those with insulin resistance.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(13):2041-2044
Objective To discover the role of MCPH1 in DNA double-strand damage induced by ionizing radiation and its relationship with H2AX in esophageal cancer cell ECA109. Methods ECA109 cancer cells accepted 8 Gy 1 h after irradiation were collected for protein extraction and immunofluorescence then MCPH1 and H2AX protein expression and nuclear foci changes were observed. A stable low expression of H2AX cell lines was established and MCPH1 and H2AX protein expression and nuclear foci changes induced by ionizing radiation after silence H2AX were detected. Results (1)A stable low expression of H2AX cell lines in ECA109 cells was successfully constructed. (2)Ionizing radiation could cause the increase of r-H2AX and MCPH1 protein expression, as the same as nuclear focus increase of r-H2AX and MCPH1. (3)The protein level and nucleus focus of r-H2AX and MCPH1 were significantly reduced in ECA109 after silence H2AX. Conclusion MCPH1 is the part of DNA damage response triggered by ionizing radiation and is located in damage response downstream and can be regulated by H2AX.
