1.Advances in thyroid hormone transporters
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2010;26(11):1013-1016
Thyroid hormones play important roles in growth, development, and metabolism of various cells and tissues. It has been assumed for a long time that thyroid hormones are lipophilic and enter cells by passive diffusion, but it has become increasingly clear that cellular uptake and efflux of thyroid hormones are mediated by transporters. The discovery of these thyroid hormone transporters will lead to a better understanding of the tissuespecific regulation of thyroid hormones.

3.Recent progress in hypothyroidism during pregnancy
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2008;24(6):595-596
The research on hypothyroidism during pregnancy has been a hot field concerned by endocrinologists. This editorial highlights six aspects of consensus reached by American Endocrine Association in "Management of Thyroid Dysfunction during Pregnancy and Postpartum: An Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline" in 2007. The appropriate diagnosis of thyroid dysfunction depends on gestational specific reference intervals of thyroid hormones, and otherwise the pregnant women with subclinical hypothyroidism will suffer from missed diagnosis. There are three types of subclinical thyroid disorders during pregnancy, namely subclinical hypothyroidism, hypothyroxinemia and simple positive thyroid peroxidase autoantibodies. The opinions on thediagnosis of these disorders are proposed in the context.
4.CTA confirmed 20 cases of pulmonary embolism CT scan review
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(z2):7-8
Objective To explore the possibility of finding pulmonary embolish by CT scan. Methods 20 cases of patients with pulmonary embolism comfirmed by CTA were selected. The CT scan was compared with the enhance film in the same level of contrast observation site. Results 12 cases found in plain site with the CTA form show abnormal density within the same lumen shadow. Indirect signs of bronchial artery dilatation except plain and outside the CTA showed no difference. Conclusion Pulmonary embolism in the carefully observed before enhanced large artery can be found within the thrombus.
5.Efficacy of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(10):1299-1301
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of chaihu shugan san plus polyene phosphatidylcholine for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods Ninety patients with NAFLD were randomly divided into 3groups(each n=30):polyene phosphatidylcholine group(Group A),chaihu shugan san group(Group B),and chaihu shugan san plus polyene phosphatidylcholine group(Group C).The clinical symptom scores, biochemistry index (ALT,AST,GGT,TBIL,TC,TG,HLD-C,LDL-C),and B ultrasound examination were measured. Results There were significant differences in clinical symptom scores,ALT,AST,GGT,TBIL,TC,TG,and LDL-C between before and after treatment in the three groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the clinical symptom scores,ALT,AST,TBIL,and LDL-C in Group C were significantly lower than those in Group A and Group B(P<0.05).There were similar effects on TC and TG between Group B and Groop C,which were better than those in Group A(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of combined treatment of chaihu shugan san and polyene phosphatidylcholine was better than that of merely chaihu shugan san or tiopronin.
6.Distillation of research and a crystallization of cooperation - Introduction of a guideline for the diagnosis and management of thyroid diseases during pregnancy and postpartum
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2012;28(5):351-353
“The guideline for the diagnosis and management of thyroid diseases during pregnancy and postpartum in China” written by Chinese Society of Endocrinology and Chinese Society of Perinatal Medicine is now formally published. This guideline was written following the principles of “based on the national conditions, evidencebased medicine, being innovative and realistic, and resource sharing”.It is modeled on the guideline issued by American Thyroid Association in 2011,joining the research of domestic scholars and combining with the actual situation of domestic clinical work and maternal and child health. This guideline contains 11 chapters, taking question terms and recommendation terms in the model, and a total of 68 problem terms and 57 recommendation terms. This paper deeply discusses the problems about the diagnosis and treatment of subclinical hypothyroidism during pregnancy,as well as the importance of establishing gestation-specific TSH reference interval.
7."A cooperative achievement of, and shared by, four academic societies——At the moment of the publication of ""Guidelines on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Thyroid Nodules and Differentiated Thyroid Carcinomas"""
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2012;28(10):777-778
Guidelines on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Thyroid Nodules and Differentiated Thyroid Carcinomas is written by Chinese Society of Endocrinology,Chinese Society of General Surgery Endocrinology Group,China Anti-Cancer Association Head and Neck Tumor Professional Committee, and Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine. The guideline has systematically established a series of standards related to thyroid nodules. It reflects the scientific spirit of multidisciplinary cooperation and mutual understanding.
8.Research progress of the mechanism in bone destruction caused by neuroblastoma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;40(6):555-557
Neuroblastoma is one of the solid tumors in children which easily metastasizes to bone.It causes radiographic appearance of osteoclastic reactions after bone metastases. In the process, neuroblastoma cells, osteoblasts and bone stromal cells secrete a series of related factors to promote bone metastases. In this paper, the progress of the mechanism in bone destruction caused by neuroblastoma is reviewed.
9.Holding One's Own Essential Characteristic Inheriting and Developing the Traditional Chinese Medicine
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(05):-
Traditional Chinese medicine evolves from the historical environment of China's ancient civilization, regarding the holistic concept as the foundation stone of the thought, the image-knowing-thinking as the mode of thinking, syndrome differentiation and treatment as the clinical characteristic. Those are essential characteristics in traditional Chinese medicine.Nowadays, the difficulty that TCM meets,is not to handle affairs according to the rule of development of the traditional Chinese medicine oneself. It is proposed that we must insist on holding the essential characteristics of the traditional Chinese medicine oneself to inherit and develop traditional Chinese medicine;making succession a priority in the relation between inherition and innovation;combining the characteristics of the time,to utilize all human's civilization achievements that can be utilized.
10.Determination of the Content of Berberine Hydrochloride in the Fukezhidai Tablets by RP-HPLC
China Pharmacy 2001;0(11):-
OBJECTIVE:To develop a RP-HPLC method for determination of the content of berberine hydrochloride in the Fukezhidai tablets METHODS:HPLC was performed on Dimonsil C18 column with CH3CN-KH2PO4(30∶70)as mobile phase The detection wavelength was 347nm RESULTS:The linear range of berberine on calibration curve was 0 4 052~2 026?g/ml The average recovery of berberine was 98 18%,RSD=0 92%(n=5) CONCLUSION:The method was simple and accurate, and can be used for the quality control of Fukezhidai tablets
