Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of bile on growth and function of endothelial cells in vitro. Methods In vitro, endothelial cells explanted from human umbilical vein were cultured. The experiment was designed as 6 groups with concentration of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% bile and without bile respectively. Morphological changes of the cells was evaluated daily until to harvest after culture. MTT value of light absorption and total protein was assessed at 5 days. von Willebrand factor (vWF) was measured for identification of cells and estimation of function. Results The explanted cells were verified as endothelial cells by vWF test. Viability and morphology of endothelial cells in culture mediums added with 5%, 10%, 15% bile were similar to those cells without bile, while cells in mediums with 20% and 25% bile were markedly reduced and immature. Comparing with the cells cultured without bile, MTT value of light absorption and total protein in mediums with 25% bile reduced statistical significantly ( P

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(02):-
Interventional techniques not only provide opportunity of treatment for many diseases, but also alter the traditional therapeutic pattern. With the new century of wide application of biological therapies, interventional technique also shows extensive roles. The current biological therapy, including gene therapy, cell transplantation therapy, immunobiologic molecule therapy containing cell factors, tumor antibody or vaccine, recombined proteins,radioactive-particles and targeting materials therapy, can be locally administrated by interventional techniques. The combination of targeting biological therapies and high-targeted interventional technique holds advantages of minimal invasion, accurate delivery, vigorous local effect, and less systemic adverse reactions.Authors believe that the biological therapy may arise a great opportunity for interventional radiology, therefore interventional colleagues should grasp firmly and promptly for the development and extension in this field.(J Intervent Radiol,2007,16:73-74)

BACKGROUND:We have built the three-dimensional human skin melanoma model with human epidermal keratinocytes and MV3 melanoma cel s co-cultured on the de-epidermized dermis in vitro.
OBJECTIVE:To establish a skin model of melanoma by mixed culture of MV3 melanoma cel s and HaCaT cel s on the de-epidermized dermis in vitro.
METHODS:MV3 melanoma cel s and HaCaT cel s were mixed with different percentages and inoculated on the surface of de-epidermized dermis fol owed by a liquid culture and air-liquid culture, and then the tissue-engineered skin model was established in vitro. Routine biopsy immunohistochemical observation was performed on the constructed skin melanoma model.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Hematoxylin-eosin staining showed that MV3 melanoma cel s were distributed on the surface layer of de-epidermized dermis and formed tumor masses, while the HaCaT cel s were mixed growth with tumor cel s and formed a typical epidermoid structure. Some tumor cel s infiltrated into the surface or deep of de-epidermized dermis and showed a tumor foci distribution. The CK10, CK-pan and S-100 proteins were positive for immunohistochemical staining. With the increasing of MV3:HaCaT cel percentage, CK10 and CK-pan gradual y down-moved from the surface, and changed from layer distribution to lumpy distribution, while the staining of S-100 protein was gradual y distributed layer-by-layer, and some area showed tumor-like distribution. The results show that the skin model of melanoma can be in vitro constructed successful y by mixed culture of MV3 melanoma cel s and HaCaT cel s on de-epidermized dermis.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 1993;0(02):-
ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical appli cation of ultrasound in Peyronie disease. MethodsSixty-nine patients with Peyronie disease were examined by conventional ultrasound, and compared with pathology. ResultsUltrasonographic imaging showed the size and morphological of Peyronie plague, and located the position of the plagues. The ultrasound figures of plagues directly related to pathological components and case history, and they were roughly divided into twe types:hypoechoic type and hyperechoic type.ConclusionsUltrasound examination is the best and reliable method in choice for Peyronie plagues and evaluation of the therapeutic effects.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2021;20(5):479-486
Interventional medicine plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hepatobiliary tumors and other diseases, which has become the third largest type of treatment technology besides internal and surgical treatment. In recent years, with technological breakthroughs in imaging technology, robotic surgical system, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and other fields, unprecedented opportunities have been provided for interventional/minimally invasive+robotics. Interventional robotic surgical systems have mushroomed around this field. The authors discuss the current status and future of interventional robotic surgical system with high recognition worldwide, especially the three categories of specialized robotic surgical system for vascular intervention, percutaneous puncture intervention and natural non-vascular luminal intervention.

Objective To explore the impact of the variable number of tandem repeats of monoamine oxidase A gene (MAOA-uVNTR) on the concentration of gray matter in patients with major depressive disorders. Methods 56 cases of depression, as well as 37 healthy controls who were matched in gender, age and years of education were divided into low-activity genotype (3R or 3R/4R), and high-activity genotype (4R) with the methods of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification and 1.5% agarose gel electrophoresis separation. 93 cases all were performaned structural magnetic resonance imaging scanning. Results ① The difference of genotype and allele frequency between the depression group and the healthy group was not statistically significant(P>0.05 ). ②Compared with the healthy, the concentration of gray matter( GMC ) of bilateral caudate nucleus (K = 11/68, Z =3.76/4.76 ), bilateral thalamus ( K = 21/181, Z = 3.26/3.63 ) and right hypothalamus ( K = 38/12, Z = 4.20/3.60) reduced significantly in depressed patients. ③ In patients with depression, cases with the high-activity genotype showed reduced GMC bilateral caudate nucleus (K = 17/33, Z = 3.23/4.36 ), left putamen ( K = 16, Z =3.42 ) and right hypothalamus( K = 12, Z = 3.62 ) in comparision with patients with low-activity genotype. In highactivity genotype group, compared with the healthy, patients with depression had reduced GMC in left caudate nucleus ( K = 11, Z = 4.13 ), bilateral thalamus ( K = 13/14, Z = 3.53/3.23 ) and left parahippocampal gyrus ( K = 13,Z = 4.04). Conclusion High-activity genotype may be an important factor contributing to the structural abnormalitily of the limbic-striatum-globus pallidus-thalamus loop.

Objective To observe the sensitivity ofastrocytoma to chemotherapeutic drugs, in order to explore the drug selection using chemosensitivity testing in vitro on astrocytoma. Comparing different WHO grade astrocytoma to chemotherapeutic drugs sensitivity differences, providing the basis data for clinical treatment. Methods The astrocytoma cells were seperated and cultured in vitro from 142 tumor tissues by glioma resection, including 55 cases of low-grade astrocytoma (WHO grade Ⅰ , Ⅱ) and 87 cases of high-grade astrocytoma (WHO grade Ⅲ, Ⅳ). The proliferation inhibition and chemosensitivity of tumor cells to 11 drugs were investigated by using MTT method. Results There were 54.93% (78/142) patients recommended chemotherapeutic drug in 142 cases. The percentage was 41.82%(23/55) in the low-grade astrocytoma, and 63.22% (55/87) in the high-grade astrocytoma respectively. Teniposide, carboplatin, vincristine as the sensitive drugs were similar in different WHO grade astrocytoma. Conclusions The chemosensitivity testing could be used to filtrate sensitive drugs to clinical chemotherapy. The action is more prominent in high-grade astrocytoma than in low-grade astrocytoma. There is no difference in the choice of sensible drugs among different WHO grade astrocytoma.

Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine 2010;49(11):921-924
Objective The aim of this article is to discuss the relation between serum uric acid and prehypertension, and to evaluate the influence of age, obesity, fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and lipids in Chinese adults. Methods All the 14 451 non-hypertensive samples were analyzed for blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), FPG, lipids and serum uric acid. Results The serum uric acid levels were stratified by quintiles, after adjustment for relevant factors, OR values of prehypertcnsion increased with the elevated uric acid levels. Serum uric acid level was 200-380 μmol/L, it had a linear relationship with the risk of prehypertension, 200 μmol/L as a turning point for this linear relationship, FPG could affect their correlation (P < 0.0001 ). Conclusions Serum uric acid was associated with prehypertension, independent of metabolic risk factors. The associations were not significant in old individuals. FPG may modify the associations.
