Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 1996;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical results of reconstruction of the posterior cruciate ligament by implanting the middle one third of patellar tendon graft under arthroscope. Methods Twelve patients with the posterior cruciate ligament injury reconstructed with middle one third of bone-patellar tendon-bone graft through an anterior approach under arthroscope were reviewed. Results The average follow up period was 17.3 months. The Larson score rose from 60.7 points to 93.4 points. The Lysholm score rose from 55.0 points to 91.6 points. All patients had positive posterior drawer test and positive Lachman test preoperatively, while only 2 patients had slight positive posterior drawer test and one had slight positive Lachman test at the latest follow up study. Conclusion Under direct visulization of arthroscope, one can accurately locate the anatomic insertion of the PCL, drill holes and transplant tissue grafts. Without capsulular incision, this technique has the advantages of less trauma and lower incidence of adhesion.

PurposeTo study the effect of phospholipid on the ability of HDL3 mediated cholesterol efflux from rat skin fibroblasts. Methods At the present of phosphatidylcholine (PC) or sphingomyelin (SPM), to measure the changes of HDL3-mediated cellular cholesterol efflux, cellulax phospholipid content and balance between free cholesterol and cholesteryl ester.Results① BSA (control) ,HDL3,PC,SPM, PC + HDL3 and SPM + HDL3 group mediated 4.70 %, 31.55 %, 7.35 %, 8.06 %,42.95 % and 46.98 % of cellular cholesterol efflux from the cells respectively. ② After the incubation of the cells with BSA, HDL3, HDL3 +SPM and HDL3 + PC, the cellular phosphorous content in PC(PC-p) and SPM (SPM-p) were 20.02,5.56; 17.56,5.28; 18.62,7.00 and 22.50,5.52 μg/plate respectively. ③ After the incubation of the cell with PC and SPM, ratio of free cholesterol to total cholesterol were 49.65 and 59.57 respectively. The ratio was 48.64 before incubation.ConclusionsO PC and SPM couldn' t mediated directly cellular cholesterol effiux, but they could enhance significantly HDL3 mediated cellular cholesterol efflux, and this ability of SPM was stronger than PC. ① With cellular cholesterol efflux,a part of cellular PC went out of the cells, but the content of cellular SPM didn' t change significantly. ③ SPM could induce cholesterol ester to convert into free cholesterol in the cells.

The understanding of anatomical structures and their adjacent relationship is the founda-tion and key to the development of surgical skills and clinical thinking. In clinical teaching for residents and graduate students , we took the advantage of donor operations in organ transplantation and showed abdominal anal operations anatomical features and relationships through different view angles and compre-hensive ways. This new teaching approach was designed in accordance with processes of organ donation, procurement and back-table operation. The main contents included anatomy of abdominal wall layers, rela-tionships among abdominal organs, locations and courses of important structure, as well as medical human-istic education. In the context of organ donation becoming more and more popular and standardized after the cardiac death of Chinese citizens, this teaching approach is worth exploring.

AIM: To select the prescription of harmine hydrochloride cream and to study the anti-itching effect of harmine hydrochloride cream. METHODS: A comprehensive score system, including appearance, homogeneity, coating performance, viscosity, particle diameter,temperature-resistant test, and centrifugal effect were established as evaluative criteria. Then uniform design was used for selecting the prescription of harmine hydrochloride cream. The histamine phosphate and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) were used to induce mouse cutaneous pruritus. Then the anti-pruritic effect of harmine hydrochloride cream in contrast to Piyanping Ointment as control group. RESULTS: The optimized prescription was as follows: 8% of monostearin,5% of Vaseline,6. 1% of beeswax, 1. 1% of Span-60,1. 9% of Tween-80. The local application of harmine hydrochloride cream could alleviate the itching induced by histamine phosphate and 5-HT,respectively. And the anti-pruritic effect of harmine hydrochloride cream was stronger than the effect of the positive control group. CONCLUSION: The prescription of the harmine hydrochloride cream is available, reasonable, and reproducible. The harmine hydrochloride cream has the anti-pruritic effect.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(39):6246-6250
BACKGROUND:There were certain differences in the anatomical structure of knee joint between man and woman. Gender knee solution is a new type of artificial knee joint prosthesis, which is specialy designed for women. Theoreticaly, the outcome of unisex total knee arthroplasty prosthesis should be related to gender, but we did not find very obvious differences in practical clinical work.
OBJECTIVE:To analyze the differences in curative effects of the unisex knee arthroplasty prosthesis between male and female patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty so as to find out if it is necessary to apply female knee prosthesis among appropriate crowd.
METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty from May 2001 to June 2011. Among 312 patients (350 knees receiving total knee arthroplasty), patients who died within 3 years after surgery, lost to folow-up and underwent revision were excluded. Changes in knee functions and imaging were observed between males and females.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The women and men had similar mean pre-operative knee scores, flexion function, pain score among 285 patients (300 knees). However, the women had significantly lower mean extension function and function scores than the men. There were no significant differences in improvement in the knee scores, flexion, the pain and knee function between women and men before and after surgery. Nevertheless, men had better extension than women. No significant difference in radiolucencies and complications was seen between females and males. Therefore, there was little difference in outcomes between women and men who used the unisex total knee arthroplasty prosthesis.
