Protein disulfide isomerase A3 (PDIA3) is a member of protein disulphide isomerase family and widely exists in endoplasmic reticulum, cell surface, nucleus and mitochondria.PDIA3 promotes the glycoprotein folding and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum and is also a key molecular of major histocompatibility complex class I mol-ecules assembly.In addition, PDIA3 is involved in the cell signal transduction and plays an important role in a variety of disease development.Therefore, this paper talks about the function of PDIA3, the relationship between disease and PDIA3 as well as its clinical outlook.

Endostatin, a 20 kD (184 aa) C-teminal fragment of collagenⅩⅧ,is the most potent inhibitor of tumor angiogenesis described so for. Endostatin was initially isolated from a murine hemangioendothelioma cell line (EOMA). Purified recombinant murine endostatin generated in E.coli bacteria injected as unfolded suspension, inhibited the growth of a varity of metastatic and primary tumors in mice. However, its widespread application has been hampered by difficulties in the large-scale production of the antiangiogenic proteins. The limitation may be resolved by in vivo delivery and expression of the antitangiogenic gene. This review summarized the advances in endostain research in recent years including structure, the mechanism of generating ,function and therapy.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of probiotics to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).Methods Publications from database including PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase,CNKI,CBM and WanFang Data were searched up to August 31,2014.The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on probiotics to treat IBS were eligible.The related articles were extracted and cross-checked independently by two reviewers.Methodological quality of trials was evaluated according to Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0 criteria.Meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.2 software.Results A total of 17 RCTs involving 1 700 patients were included.Results of meta-analyses showed that compared with the placebo,probiotics was statistically better in improving the overall symptoms integral (SMD =-0.20,95％ CI-0.33--0.07,P =0.002),alleviating abdominal pain/discomfort (SMD =-0.19,95％ CI-0.29--0.09,P ＜ 0.001),relieving abdominal distention (SMD =-0.16,95％ CI-0.28--0.03,P =0.020),and defecation discomfort (SMD =-0.22,95％ CI-0.42--0.02,P =0.030).There was no statistical significance in the overall quality of life (SMD =-0.08,95％ CI-0.07-0.23,P =0.290) and adverse effect ratio (RR =1.08,95％CI0.79-1.49,P=0.630).Conclusion Probiotics have beneficial effects on IBS,which can improve the patients' symptoms and with less adverse reaction.Due to the bias,further large-scale,multicenter and high-quality RCTs are required to unify outcome indicators,further define sensitive strain,and standardize its usage,dosage and course of treatment.

Objective To preliminarily investigate the conditions of the performance of chlorine dioxide generator for drinking water disinfection and know the overall situation of the industry.Methods From 2007 to 2008,6 companies'products were chosen for this investigation according to certain rules,and their performance indicators,such as chlorine dioxide output and conversion rate were tested by using the Five-step iodimetry method.Results On-site generating technology was commonly used,and the average conversion rate of the compound type generator was 57.06%,and the pure type generator was 84.78%.Conclusion The conversion rate of the pure type generator is better than the compound type,and the newly invented pure type generator has much better performance and lower disinfection cost.

Objective To know the hygienic condition of different kinds of drinking water plants in Shanxi Province.Methods In 2007,422 water plants and 2 083 secondary water supply units were selected and the information and data that provided by all Sanitation Institute for Health Inspection and Supervision in Shanxi Province were analyzed.Results The hygienic conditions of city's municipal administration water supply systems were the best.Total qualified rate of water quality was 97.67%.The hygienic conditions of rural school's homemade water supply systems were the worst,the qualified rates of all items in the program were the lowest.Most of them had no any analyst and laboratory for water quality test.Only 10.2% of them had water disinfection facilities.Total qualified rate of water quality was 75.32%.In most of water plants,the lack of water quality test facilities and disinfection facilities was one important problem in drinking water safety.In addition,the lack of clean and disinfection in secondary water supply systems was another problem.Conclusion The hygienic conditions of drinking water plans are unsatisfactory and should be improved in Shanxi Province.

[Objective]To investigate the diagnostic methods and clinical effects of the management of spondylolithesis with adjacent segment degeneration.[Method]Between October 2000 and October 2005,16 consecutive patients(3 males and 13 females) aging 42 to 76 years(mean 59.1 years) received instrumented lumbar interbody fusion procedure using traditional posterior approaches for spondylolithesis with adjacent segment degeneration.Lumbar functions were assessed using Prolo system.Preoperative and follow-up lateral lumbar radiographs were studied for reduction of spondylolithesis,disc heights,lumbar lordosis,fusion rates and complications.[Result]Fourteen patients were followed up,with an average duration of 28(16–53) months.Clinical outcomes in terms of Prolo system was 7 points in 3 patients,8 in 7 patients,9 in 2 patients,and 4 in 2 patients at 3 months after operation with 85.7% being graded as good or excellent.Seven points in 4 patients,8 in 6 patients,and 9 in 4 patients at last follow-up(graded as 100% good or excellent).Fusion rate was 66.7%(8/14)at 6 months and 92.9%(13/14)at 12 months after operation.Ten patients(71.4%) fully recovered from spondylolithesis,4 had partial reduction,and their reduction status was unchanged according to plain radiographs at 12 months and last follow-up.The operative wound healed without complications in all patients.The mean Lordosis was 26.64??6.67?,33.29??3.39?and 32.71??2.80?before and at 3-month,or last follow-up after operation.The mean of fused Lordosis was 15.64??6.21?,28.29??3.28?and 32.36??3.91?before at 6 months or at last time follow-up after operation.The disc heights were 6.54?1.13mm and 9.62?0.81mm before and after operation.Statistics showed significant difference(P

Although the promulgation of the law is important,the task of carrying out the law is more difficult. On the basis of concluding the problems in carrying out the food sanitation law and the analysis of its causes,it is significant to discuss the Food Safety Law from the viewpoint of Food Sanitation Law enforcement.

Salidroside is the most important bioactive component of Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma. Many recent studies have shown that salidroside plays an protective role in cardiovascular system by inhibiting myocardial cell death, promoting angiogenesis, improving heart function, inhibiting platelet aggregation, promoting body fat mobilization and cholesterol metabolism and other pharmacological effects. This article reviewed recent studies on pharmacological effects of salidroside on the cardiovascular system, providing references for the research and application of salidroside.
