Basic & Clinical Medicine 2017;37(9):1303-1307
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin chemotherapy to the transplanted non-small cell lung cancer of nude mice and the effect to the apoptosis protein expression of PDCD5 and XIAP with mice model. Methods A tumor-bearing mice were randomly divided into blank group, normal saline group, oxaliplatin group, paclitaxel group, paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin group. The gene expression of PDCD5 and XIAP was assayed by real-time quantitative PCR(q-PCR).The apoptosis related PDCD5 and XIAP protein were detected by Western blot. Finally, the tumor weight of each group was measured for statistical analysis.ResultsThe mRNA expression of PDCD5 was highest and the gene expression of XIAP was lowest in paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin group(P<0.01).The expression of PDCD5 protein was highest and the expression of XIAP protein was lowest in paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin group (P<0.01).Finally, compare the tumor weight of each group, paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin group has the least mass(P<0.01).Conclusions Paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin group chemotherapy significantly increases PDCD5 expression and reduce XIAP expression.Meanwhile, paclitaxel plus oxaliplatin chemotherapy can significantly reduce the tumor weight of happened non-small cell lung cancer.
2.Photoacoustic Tomography for Micro-blood Vessel
Chinese Journal of Medical Physics 2010;27(1):1665-1667
Objectieve:In order to get the photoacoustic (PA) image of micro-blood vessel deep inside biological tissue.Materials and Methods:A 532nm pulse laser with the repetition rate of 10Hz was used as the pumping source.A wide band unfocused needle ultrasound transducer was used to collect time-domain PA signal of the tissue-mimicking phantom by circular scan. The 2D optical absorption image was reconstructed by time-domain spherical back projection algorithm. The spatial resolution was measured by line-spread-function(LSF).Results:The experimental results demonstrated that the spatial resolution was 0.1 mm and the PA image of the micro-vascular network agreed well with the tissue-mimicking phantom. Conclusion:The proposed method is valuable for the diagnosis of early cancer inside tissue.
3.Diagnosis and Treatment for Simple Obesity in Childhood
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
There is no unity in judgment of obesity at home and abroad.WHO considered that there should have different evaluation criteria from childhood below and above 10 years and recommended "weight for height" be used for children under the age of 10 and body mass index(BMI)for children aged 10 to 24 years old.International Obesity Task Organization(IOTF) recommended BMI be suitable for young children for judgment overweight and obesity. Both of them had the same BMI standards for overweight and obesity for 18-year-old,25 and 30 kg/m2,respectively.But the Working Group on Obesity of China(WGOC)developed a criterion which cut-offs in 18 years were lower than that of WHO and IOTF,24 and 28 kg/m2,respectively.The treatment of obesity in childhood was different from that in adults. Many methods used for adults such as surgical liposuction, slimming drugs, hunger therapies and fasting could not be appropriate for childhood.A combined treatment in childhood including behavior modification, diet adjustment and exercise was recognized domestically and internationally.
4.Liver asialoglycoprotein receptor scintigraphy:a new prospect of segmentational three-dimensional evaluation of liver function
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Asialoglycoprotein receptor(ASGPR) is a specific receptor of mammalian hepatocytes.Reduction in ASGPR concentration has been proven to appear in liver cirrhosis and liver cancer.By liver ASGPR scintigraphy with 99mTcGSA,some indexes such as HH15、LHL15、[R]_0、R_0 can be obtained, which is useful for the evaluation of liver function. When combining with the techniques of functional scintigraphy and single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT),it becomes possible to functionally simulate the extension of hepatic resection and predict to some extent postoperative outcomes related to liver function. It is still a new professional field internationally, and almost absent domestically. It could be an important tool for quantificational evaluation of the risk of liver surgery and help determining the surgical procedures. We have here, with some of our research experiences in this field, written a review of ASGPR scintigraphy.
