International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(5):437-
Objective To investigate the indication, methods and therapeutic effects of breast-conserving surgery in mammary cancer of early stage. Methods A retrospective study on 28 cases of Ⅰ and Ⅱ stage of breast-conserving surgery was underwent. Results Breast-conserving surgery does not destroy the appearance symmetry of breast, and maintains a low baldness rate. The recurrence rate in 5 years after surgery is 5.3%, and the 5 years' survival rate is 100%. Conclusion Breast-conserving surgery combined with the hinese herbal medicine therapy is an effective and safe way to treat mammary cancer in a early stage.

[Objective]To introduce micro-trauma technic with small incision treating the vertical fractures of the sacrum by intrasacral rod and evaluate the preliminary clinical outcomes.[Method]A total of 13 cases(9 males and 4 females) were treated with micro-trauma technic by intrasacral rod.The age ranged from 18 to 63 years, mean 36 years.Of all,6 cases were treated with anterior pelvis fixation,7 cases had sacral plexus injury.[Result]The operation lasted for 40~75 minutes(averaged 54 minutes) and hospitalisation period ranged from 8 to 20 days(averaged 11 days).A follow up lasted 9~24 months(averaged 17.5 months) in 12 patients.Ten cases were free from sacroiliac pain,2 cases had a slight pain. In 7 sacral plexus injury patients,6 cases completely recovered.[Conclusion]Micro-trauma technic with small incision treating the vertical fractures of the sacrum by intrasacral rod is a safe and effective method and has the advantages of minor trauma, less complication, short operation time and quick recovery.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2000;0(06):-
Objective To study the therapeutic effects of Cordyceps polysaccharide (CP) on adenine-induced chronic renal failure(CRF)in rats. Methods CRF model was induced by Adenine ig .The rats were randomized into normal group, model group, CP high, moderate, Low-dosage groups and Dexamethasone group. The models of adenine-induced nephrosis were established by intragastric administration of adenine 300 mg/kg for 21 days. After treatment, renal function, biochemical indicators, kidney index, renal pathologic changes and serum TNF-? were observed. Results Compared with the model group, the degree injury of renal function in CP groups was palliated significant, renal pathologic changes were palliated significant, renal index and content of serum TNF-? were both decreased significant. Conclusion CP has a therapeutic and preventive effect on adenine-induced CRF, and can prevent the generation and development of CRF, improve renal function.

Objective To establish a new and convenient assay for whole blood lead concentration. Methods Whole blood sample was digested by nitric acid-perchloric. Under the condition of pH 0.8~1.0, lead concentration was examined by Hydridegeneration Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry. Results The method had good linearity when lead concentration were between 0 to 600 ?g/L, r =0.999. The within-run CV of the method for high, middle and low lead level were 4.1%, 3.6% and 3.5% respectively. The between-run CV were 4.9%, 4.6% and 4.7% respectively. The recovery rates were 105.4%, 98.5% and 94.8% respectively. The single-blind test result of series standard lead samples provided by Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine were within the acceptable range. The detecting Limit of this method was 0.3 ng. There was no significant interference from main two-valence positiveion. The sample can be storage at lest for 1 months at 4℃. Samples of 869 children from Tianjin were tested by this method. The mean value was 91.9 ?g/L, median was 83.8 ?g/L, all data were within 23.1~386.3 ?g/L. The result showed out positive skewness distribution. Conclusion This method were sensitive, accurate, precise, quick and low-cost. It was suitable for use in clinical laboratories.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2001;0(05):-
Objective To express the pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF) in E.coli. and to assess its role in angiogenesis of gliomas. Methods The expression plasmid pET41/PEDF was constructed and the protein was purified by metal affinity tag (His Tag ) and anion-exchange chromatography. Tube formation was used for evaluating its biological activity. The changes of vascular enthothelial growth factor (VEGF) and thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) were evaluated by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The high purified and inhibitory-actived PEDF proteins were acquired and PEDF had the function of decreasing the VEGF 1.8 times as well as increasing the TSP-1 5.3 times. Conclusions It is possible that PEDF expression is a potent factor for the inhibition angiogenesis in gliomas.

According to the correlative analyses on Chinese medicine essence, dosage forms and quality control level, it expounds the precise concept of Chinese medicine, and its quality advantages and characteristics in this paper, furthermore discusses how to achieve the ideal drugs and Chinese medicine quality precision in expectation. Base on the Chinese medicine essence, using the concept of nature medicine and its drug system to construct Chinese medicine effective material basis and its drugs, with the correlative analyses of whole view and reductionism, the problems of uncertainty quality of original natural medicinal resources and preparations may well be solved, and further with the macroscopic to microcosmic construction of drug system, the precision in expectations of Chinese medicine quality and higher production lever may well be achieved.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(33):5276-5281
BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cells are a kind of adult stem cells with the potentials of self-replicating and multi-directional differentiation. Under certain conditions, the cells can develop into bone, cartilage and other types of cells. Granulocyte colony-stimulating factors can promote regeneration of mesenchymal stem cells.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the osteogenic induction effect of granulocyte colony-stimulating factors by animal experiment, and provide a better treatment method for clinical treatment of bone defect.
METHODS:Forty New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into treatment group and model group. Al animals were removed 2 cm length of the right radial bone and the surrounding periosteum, and then implanted with demineralized bone matrix into the defect. The treatment group was subcutaneously injected with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor 30μg/kg per day, the injection was started at preoperative 3 days and given for 7 continuous days. In control group, the same dose of physiological saline was injected.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In the treatment group, the number of mesenchymal stem cells, the quantity and quality of bone formation at bone defects were better than those in the model group. The experimental findings indicate that granulocyte colony-stimulating factor can obviously increase the number of mesenchymal stem cells and promote bone formation at the area of bone defect, which can contribute to early repair of bone defects.

International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(9):598-601
ObjectiveControl study on the clinical efficiency and costs of fast track surgery(FTS) and traditional method was carried out in colorectal cancer patients. Methodsone hundred colorectal cancer patients were randomLy selected, 50 cases treated with conventional therapy as control group and 50 cases treated with FTS programme. The postoperative initial venting time, the incidence of complications, the hospital stay and cost index were compared between the two groups. ResultsThe postoperative initial venting time was in advance and postoperative stay was obviously shortened in FTS group. Hospitalization expenditure in FTS group was lower than that in control group. Patients recovered quickly, the result was satisfactory. The complication was not significantly different between the two groups (P > 0.05 ) . ConclusionsFTS treatment can accelerate postoperative rehabilitation and elevate clinical efficiency in colorectal cancer patients during operation period. FTS treatment is a safe and effective method.
