2.Expression of VEGF and VEGF mRNA after focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion in rats
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(02):-
Objective:To study the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and VEGF mRNA after focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion in rats. Methods:MCAO (Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion) models were set up in rats, and the rats were divided into six groups:control group,5 groups of ischemia for 2h then respective reperfusion for 6h,12h,24h,48h and 72h.The samples were analyzed with immunohistochemical methods. The expression of VEGF mRNA was detected by RT-PCR analysis. Results:VEGF protein expression started at 6h.It increased remarkably at 24h,and it was strongest at 48h.VEGF mRNA increased at 6h,while reached peak value at 12h and reduced at 24h,finally returned to normal level at 48-72h.VEGF expression was mainly detected in the periphery of infarcts at every timepoint. Conclusion:These findings demonstrate that the VEGF strong expression can be induced in focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion in vivo. The changes of VEGF levels suggest that VEGF has neuroprotective effect against cerebral ischemic injury.
3.Progress of adiponectin in reproduction and fertility
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2012;28(4):347-350
There is a strong support for a role played by adiponectin in the function of ovary and placenta. There is evidence of direct effects of adiponectin on the late stages of folliculogenesis, and additive interactions of adiponectin with insulin and gonadotropins in inducing periovulatory changes in ovarian follicles.Adiponectin has demonstrated a potential effect on ovarian function as well as a possible effect on the formation of placenta, via multiple mechanisms, providing new strategies for the etiology investigation, prevention and treatment of reproductive and related metabolic diseases.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for determination of Rifampin in human serum, and to individualize the medication for tuberculosis patients with liver damage.METHODS:Using d-nitrophenol as the internal standard, the serum samples were extracted with methanol.HPLC condition:analytical column:Lichrospher100(4.6?m?250mm),guard column:YWG-C 18 (?4mm?40mm),the mobile phase:methanol-acetonitril-0.04mol/L KH 2 PO 4 (31.5∶31.5∶37,V/V/V),the flow rate:1ml/min,the column temperature:40℃,the wavelength of UV detection:254nm.The serum concentrations were deter?mined at given time periods after patient taking an oral dose of450mg Rifampin, and need of dosage adjustment was judged.RESULTS:The chromatography was good and not interfered by the components of the serum. The dosage of Rifampin had obvious individual difference. After adjusting the dosage, the effect increased and ADRs decreased.CONCLUSION:This is a simple, rapid, accurate, sensitive and reliable method to determine the concentration of Rifampin with a wide concentration range. It is suitable for the analysis of individualized medication of Rifampin.
8.Fixation with intramedullary nail and plate in the treatment of adult humeral shaft fracture:comparison of radial nerve injury and non-union rate
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(13):2086-2090
BACKGROUND:Internal fixation is the main treatment of humeral shaft fractures, especial y for cases accompanied several injuries. According to the fracture reduction method and fixation methods, the commonly used repair methods include intramedul ary nail and minimal y invasive plate. How to choose a safe and effective method of internal fixation is a hot issue in the repair of humeral shaft fractures. OBJECTIVE:To explore the clinical effect of different fixations of intramedul ary nail and plate in the treatment of adult humeral shaft fracture. METHODS:A total of 252 patients with humeral shaft fracture recruited from Heze Municipal Hospital from May 2010 to May 2013 were randomly divided into two groups, with 126 cases in each group. Patients in the two groups were treated with intramedul ary nail fixation and plate fixation, respectively. The average operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stays, and healing time of fracture in the two groups were recorded. Al patients were fol owed up for 1 year postoperatively, the incidence of radial nerve injury, infection and non-union was compared. The recovery of shoulder joint and elbow joint of patients was assessed with Neer method and Mayo method, respectively. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After treatment, the rate of primary success of internal fixation showed no significant differences between the two groups (χ2=0.399 7, P>0.05). The average operation time, intraoperative blood loss, the healing time of fracture and hospital stays in the intramedul ary nail group were significantly shorter than that in the plate group B, the difference of the results were extremely significant in two groups (t=15.442 5, 21.713 4, 8.217 6, 1.214 8, P<0.01). After 1-year fol ow-up, the incidence of radial nerve injury showed extremely significant differences between the two groups (χ2=8.262 3, P<0.01);the incidence of nonunion in the intramedul ary nail group was significantly lower than that in the plate group, with extremely significant differences (χ2=3.947 2, P<0.05). The overal incidence of complications in intramedul ary nail group was significantly lower than that in the plate group, with extremely significant difference (χ2=11.977 9, P<0.01). Besides, the Neer scores of shoulder joint and the Mayo scores of elbow joint between the two groups had no statistical y significant difference (χ2=0.235 4, 0.273 0, P>0.05). Both intramedul ary nail and plate fixations show good clinical effect in treatment of adult humeral shaft fracture, and each technique has their advantages and disadvantages, we should choose the proper technique according to the patient’s condition.
