Objective To study the application effect of antiskid steel plate internal fixation via exposing lateral and posterior ankle fracture through fibula posterolateral approach in the treatment of Lauge-Hansen supination-eversion ankle fracture. Methods From January 2009 to December 2012,exposed the lateral and posterior ankle fracture through fibula posterolateral approach of 36 patients suffering from the Lauge-Hansen supination-eversion ankle fracture, and fixed the lateral and posterior ankle by the antiskid steel plate.Adopt Olerud-Molander ankle function scoring system to evaluate the postoperative effect of the ankle. Results All the patients were followed up for 7-27 months, with an average follow-up of 19 months. There was no complications such as incision infection and cutaneous necrosis.Only 1 patient occurred with peroneus myotenositis, and the symptom was relieved after taking out the steel plate. The fracture was healed within 16 weeks.Among the 36 cases,22 cases were excellent,9 cases were good,4 cases were medium and 1 case was poor. The fine rate was 86.1%(31/36).Conclusion Using the antiskid steel plate to treat the lateral and posterior ankle fracture through fibula posterolateral approach, can fully expose a single incision, fix the lateral and posterior ankle and reduce the tension in suture, improve the incision healing rate and fracture stability, provide a new method for treating ankle fracture.

Majority of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients are highly susceptible to several forms of cognitive impairments, particularly dementia. However, the underlying neural mechanism of these cognitive impairments remains unclear. We aimed to investigate the correlation between whole brain resting state functional connections (RSFCs) and the cognitive status in 95 patients with T2DM. We constructed an elastic net model to estimate the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores, which served as an index of the cognitive status of the patients, and to select the RSFCs for further prediction. Subsequently, we utilized a machine learning technique to evaluate the discriminative ability of the connectivity pattern associated with the selected RSFCs. The estimated and chronological MoCA scores were significantly correlated with R= 0.81 and the mean absolute error (MAE) =1.20. Additionally, cognitive impairments of patients with T2DM can be identified using the RSFC pattern with classification accuracy of 90.54% and the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) of 0.9737. This connectivity pattern not only included the connections between regions within the default mode network (DMN), but also the functional connectivity between the task-positive networks and the DMN, as well as those within the task-positive networks. The results suggest that an RSFC pattern could be regarded as a potential biomarker to identify the cognitive status of patients with T2DM.

【Objective】 To analyze the changes of activation, function and metabolism of apheresis platelets during storage. 【Methods】 Five groups of apheresis platelets(n=10per group), stored up to 5 days at 20~24℃ with agitation, were sampledat day0(4 hours within collection), 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively to assess the activation indexes as PAC-1 and CD62P and platelet function was evaluated by thromboelastogram. The platelet counts and related parameters were determined, and the biochemical indexes such as pH, glucose, lactic acid and lactate dehydrogenase reflecting metabolism were measured and statistically analyzed. 【Results】 The CD62P (%) and PAC-1 (%) of apheresis platelets with different storage duration showed significant differences(P<0.05), and CD62P (%) increased significantly on 4thday of storage (P<0.05). There were significant differences in TEG parameters as R(min), K(min), ANG (min)and MA (mm), and MA value increased significantly after1-daystorage (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in Plt and related indexes among the groups (P>0.05). Significant differences were notable in platelet biochemical indexesby groups using variance analysis(P<0.05). The pH value and glucose were the lowest in platelets with 4-day storage, while lactic acid and lactate dehydrogenase were the highest. 【Conclusion】 The storagelesion of apheresis platelets occurs as the activation, function and metabolism of platelets developed as the storage prolonged.
