3.The prospective randomized study on prevention of cadaveric renal allograft rejection by Tacrolimus (FK506)

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of Tacrolimus(FK506)and Neoral CsA in conjunction with MMF(2.0g/d)and steroid in preventing renal allograft rejection.Methods 98 cases of renal transplant recipients were randomly divided into two groups:FK506 group(n=40),receiving tacrollimus,MMF and prednison(Pred);CsA group(n=58),receiving CsA,MMFand Pred.Results The mean follow-up time in both two groups Was 12.5 months.Acute transplanted renal rejection occurred in 2 cases in FK506 group and 9 cases in CsA group respectively.The one-year person/kidney survival rate was 100%/100%in FK506 group and 100%/94.8%in CsA group respectively.The dosage of Pred in FK506 group was lower than in CsA group.12 cases in FK506 group had stopped using Pred.Hypergly cermia occurred in 7 cases in FK-506 group.Polytricosis,gingival hyperplasia and liver function disorder dominantly occurred in CsA group.Infection Was found in 9 cases of FK506 group and 11 cases of CsA group respectively.Conclusion FK506 combined with MMF could decrease the occurrence of acute trans planted renal rejection and the dosage of Pred.The good adjustment of the dose of FK506 iS helpful for re ducing the side effects and preventing rejection.
5.Stress analysis of the periodontal ligament by submodel method

Objective:To improve stress analysis in stress-intensive regions of human periodontal tissue. Methods:Based on coarse analysis on the finite element(FE) model including human teeth and periodontal tissue, the submodel method was introduced to analyze the stresses in interested region such as apical. Results:Submodel analysis showed same stress distribution as FE model while more precision of stress value was obtained by submodel because refined mesh was used.Conclusion:More accurate stresses measurements in local regions can be obtained by submodel method.
6.Study on accurateness of percentage depth dose with Monte Carlo simulation algorithm

Objective To study the percentage depth dose difference (PDD) between Monte Carlo method and the measurement method.Methods Based on the detail treatment head structure designing by the manufacture,the BEAMnrc Monte Carlo code was used to simulate the 6 MV photon beams of a Siemens Primus linear accelerator.DOSXYZnrc program generated 6 MV X-ray parameters such as PDD,and it was measured by MP3 three-dimensional water of PTW corporation phantom.The deviation of PDD was calculated using formulas ((measured value-simulation algorithm value)/measured value × 100%).Results Distance from the surface of the water was less than 1.2 cm,the deviation of PDD was > 2%.Distance from the surface greater than 1.2 cm,the deviation of PDD was < 2%.Conclusion In the built-up areas,PDD obtained by the Monte Carlo simulation algorithm is more accurate.
8.Treatment of maxillary hypoplasia with a self-made tooth-borne distraction device

Objective: To evaluate the result of distraction osteogenesis in patients with pretnaxillary deficiency using a self-made tooth-borne distraction device. Methods: A self-made tooth-bome distraction device was used for advancement of the maxillary anterior segment in 28 patients. Results; 26 cases were corrected satisfactorily and have no any complications. In 2 cases the distraction device did not work during distraction. Conclusion: This device can improve the soft tissue profile and correct the space deficiency of the maxilla.
10.Effect of selective laser trabecularplasty on early chronic primary angle-closure glaucoma

21 mmHg.The side effects,IOP and application of anti-glaucoma drugs were examined 1 h,1 d,1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after SLT. Results The IOP was significantly decreased 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after SLT compared with that before treatment(P21 mmHg using two anti-glaucoma drugs,respectively. Conclusion SLT is a safe and effective method for IOP control in early CPACG after treatment with laser peripheral iridoplasty and laser iridectomy.
