OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy of telmisartan combined with metoprolol in the treatment of chronic heart failure.METHODS:102 patients with chronic heart failure admitted in hospital from Jan.2008 to Feb.2010 were given therapy of cardiotonic,diuresis,vasodilator,anti-infection,blood sugar control.Then patients were additionally treated with telmisartan and metoprolol.The parameters before treatment and after 2 weeks of treatment were determined such as heart function,24 h dynamic electrocardiogram,Bultrasound of heart,blood pressure,heart rate,6 min walking distance,liver and kidney function,electrolytes,blood sugar,urine routine,myocardial enzyme.RESULTS:After treatment,cardiac function,heart rate and 6 min walking distance,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),the number of premature beats were significantly reduced(P

This study proposed to use Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) relative entropy as knowledge representation method between symptoms and syndrome. TF-IDF was originated from text mining. It was an important method in the automatic text categorization. TF-IDF also represented the automatic categorization idea in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome. It was based on the fact that the higher frequency of one symptom in specific syndrome, the stronger ability to distinguish this syndrome (TF); and the more wide range of one symptom in all syndrome, and the lower ability to distinguish a syndrome (IDF). It was verified with specific examples.

Objective To investigate the electrophysiological properties of layer Ⅱ/Ⅲ pyramidal neurons of the early postnatal stage rat visual cortex.Methods By using the whole cell patch-clamp recording technique combined with direct visualization of cells,we studied the passive and active electrophysiological properties as well as firing properties of layer Ⅱ/Ⅲ pyramidal neurons in acute rat visual cortical slices.Results Resting membrane potential,input resistance,membrane capacitance and membrane time constant of pyramidal neurons at postnatal days 11-13(P 11-13) were(-56.6?1.8)mV,(185.4?2.7)M?,(77.9?2.2)pF and(16.9?2.4)ms,respectively.Action potential amplitude and duration were(97.7?2.7)mV and(2.3?0.1)ms,respectively.Threshold potential was(-31.8?1.2)mV and afterdepolarizing potential was(-65.3?1.1)mV.When presented with long depolarizing current pulse of constant amplitude,most of the neurons exhibited pronounced adaptation of spike frequency.The steady-state firing frequency was(30.4?9.4)% of the first interval firing frequency.Conclusion The electrophysiological properties of layer Ⅱ/Ⅲ pyramidal neurons of the early postnatal stage rat visual cortex are not fully mature.Most of the neurons display regular firing patterns,but the degree of firing frequency adaptation is relatively small.

Objective:To explore the symptom experience of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in pregnant women, so as to provide a basis for strengthening the prevention and control of SUI and formulating standardized symptom management strategies.Methods:From July 2018 to November 2019, purpose sampling was used to select 11 pregnant women with SUI undergoing routine prenatal examination in the Obstetric Clinic of Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University as the research objects. The semi-structured interview was conducted with pregnant women, and the data were analyzed using grounded theory in qualitative research.Results:A total of four themes were extracted, namely, lack of cognition, different coping attitudes, poor symptom experience, and urgent need for symptom management knowledge.Conclusions:SUI pregnant women generally have insufficient knowledge of the disease, poor symptom experience, different response attitudes, and urgent need for symptom management knowledge. Therefore, for SUI pregnant women, all aspects of personal-family-society support should be provided, social publicity of SUI symptom management knowledge should be strengthened, positive guidance and encouragement should be given, family members should be encouraged to participate, and an internet digital information platform should be actively constructed to ultimately reduce the incidence of SUI in pregnant women.
