A case of verrucous hemangiorna appearing 22-year old male as presented, The clinical lesion was wart-like and hyperkeratotic scaly plaque with satellite lesions occurring over the right side of the skin. Histopathological examination showed hyperkeratosis, papillomatosis, irregular acanthosis, and capillary hemangiomatous features in the dermis and subecutantous tissues.

Two cases of toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell) appearing on 69-year old male and 12year-old female were presented. The clinical manifestations of toxic epidermal necrolysis developed after oral administration of novaquing for common cold. The cause of the disease was probably due to novaquing (phenobarbital and sulpyrin). The 69 year-old male was expired despite intensive treatment with fluid and electrolytes, antibiotics, corticosteroids, vitamins, and topical measures, but 12 year-old female was cured successfully with treatment.

Generalized acrodermatitis continua occurred in a 33-year-old man. Lesions initially limited to the both hands were treated with corticosteroid for long term, however, generalization of the lesions appeared to follow the steroid withdrawal.

Two cases of ectopic kidney were reported in conjunction with review of literatures. The ectopic kidneys, measuring 13 cm-,15 cm in length of their ureter, were located between the L3 .and S1. Operative removal of the ectopic kidney disclosed aberrant arteries in their both pole. histological examination revealed normal findings.

PURPOSE: This study was to identify the stop-out experiences of female nursing students. Stop-out is defined as the withdrawal temporarily from enrollment at a university. METHODS: Data was collected through in-depth individual interviews from February 2013 to February 2014 (N=8) and analyzed with Colaizzi's phenomenological methodology. The participants were interviewed once or twice, for 30minutes to 1hour per interview. RESULTS: Five theme-clusters were identified from 14 themes. The theme-clusters were 'Craving for self-directed life', 'Anxiety about leaving regular orbit', 'Responsibility for selection of the stop-out', 'Reinvention of self and nursing major', and 'Making of mental power'. CONCLUSION: The results showed that the stop-out experience of female nursing students in this study has positive aspects in craving for self-directed life and challenges to live a new life. Therefore research is needed on various angles in studying stop-out experience as well as balance quantitative and qualitative research methods. Also it is suggested that continuous managements should be given to the students during stop-out period.
