Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(11):1183-1185
Objective To test the serum albumin level in patients having the peritoneal dialysis, and investigate its relationship with C-reactive protein(CRP)level or other inflammatory complications. Methods Sixty patients having peritoneal dialysis treatment were divided into two groups based on the serum albumin(ALB)level, patients had normal ALB level were included into group A,while the patients with serum hypoproteinemia were included into group B. The serum level of CRP,transferin(TF)and nutritional status were compared between two groups, and their relationship with clinical complications were evaluated. Results The serum CRP level in patients of group B(8.40 ± 1.32)mg/L was significantly higher than group A(2. 14 ±0.87)mg/L(P <0. 01). Patients from group B had more inflammation complications, such as peritonitis(6. 7%),pneumonia(13. 3%),cardiovascular disease(16.7%). Conclusions The continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis patients accompanied with hypoproteinemia are more likely to have inflammation complications and cardiovascular diseases, which should cause more attention on their malnutrition-inflammation- CVD(MIA)syndrome diagnosis and treatment.
3.Risk factors and prognosis of cardiac arrest in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2014;21(4):241-243
Cardiac arrest in children is one of the most critical clinical situations, posing a serious threat to life. With the progress of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the advanced life support technology, children's cardiac arrest survival rate is higher than before, but many of the survivors suffer from neurological sequelae.Since the causes of out-hospital cardiac arrest and in-hospital cardiac arrest are different, their prognosis and influence factors are also different.Death risk factors for cardiac arrest in children are cancer, hepatic insufficiency, acute renal failure, sepsis, systemic inflammatory response syndrome, etc.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation,as the main emergency treatment of cardiac arrest,is also one of the main factors affecting survival of cardiac arrest child.
4.The feasibility research of checking treatment plan by using Linatech treatment planning system
Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2017;26(7):800-805
Objective To assess the feasibility of secondary check by LinaTech TiGRT treatment planning systems. Methods Choosing the Linatech TiGRT treatment planning system, researched and developed by Linatech company,as the third-party check tools.First, using Linatech TPS for recomputing treatment plans for geometrical phantoms designed in TG-119 and patients.after computation, compared the point dose with the measured data of phantoms (Using chameber No.2571 to measure point dose) and original plans.Using PTW verisoft with a criteria of 3% dose difference and 5 mm distance to agreement to assess the dose distribution on center level. After then, you can assess the accuracy of treatment plans. Results Tiny volume changes were found in ROI,especially in small size phantoms orcuspidal regions. For comparing measured data with recomputed plans and original plans, the dose data were found basically identical in TG-119 phantoms. And for patients, the differences between recomputed plans and AAA original plans or AXB original plans were smaller in breast cancer, but they were even bigger innasopharynx cancer, all patient cases showed a gamma passing rate more than 90%.The gamma passing rate of AAA original plans and AXB original plans were 95.6% and 97.53% for breast cancer, and 94.67% and 96.83% for nasopharynx cancer. Conclusions The method of utilizing the LinaTech TiGRT treatment planning system as a third-party check tools to assess the accuracy of plans is feasible, and the validation process is convenient, but some functions still need to improve and the scope of differences still need more patient cases to determine.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2009;11(6):769-771
Objective To investigate the influence of VEGF expression on the apoptosis of pancreas subjected to ischemia/reperfu-sion injury. Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into three groups (rt = 10). Group A was served as sham-operation group. Groups B were subjected to 30 min of ischemia by clamping of celiac artery and superior mesenterie artery then releasing for 6 hours to produce ischemia/reperfusion injury model. Groups C were treated with VEGF antisense oligodeexynueleotide after isehemia. Rats were sacrificed, the pancreas was obtained to detect the VEGF expression by immunohistochemical method, and apoptosis was determined by TUNEL staining. Results Apoptosis appeared and VEGF expression up regulated in pancreas after Isehemia/reperfusion injury. Comparison between Groups C and Groups B showed a significant down regulation of VEGF expression (P <0. 05) and a notable increase of apoptotic index (P < 0. 05). Conclusion VEGF expression suppresses apeptosis of pancreas during the course of ischemia/reperfusion injury and may play an important role in protection of pancreas against the ischemia/repeffusion injury.
