Emphysematous pyelonephritis is an uncommon serious infection of kidney with parenchymal necrosis and spontaneous gas formation which generally occurs in patient with diabetes mellitus or urinary tract obstruction. We experienced a case of emphysematous pyelonephritis which occurred in 45 year-old diabetic woman and treated by surgical intervention.

Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is an atypical form of severe chronic renal parenchymal infection and usually occurs in associated with urinary tract infection, obstruction and/or calculi. Herein we report a case of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis in a 26 years old male, which was cured completely by partial nephrectomy.

Renal leiomyoma is an uncommon neoplasm. In 1947, Zuckerman and associates reported the first case of leiomyoma in a newborn infant. Herein, a case of renal leiomyoma is reported in a 23 years old woman, with a brief review of literature.
