Objective To analyze the incidence and pathological characteristic of gastric cancer in young patients and to explore the possibility of screening and preventing hereditary gastric cancer. Methods 68 young patients with gastric cancer under 35 years of age were retrospectively analyzed about their sex, endoscopes datum, clinic representation,pathology and expression of c-erbB-2 protein. Results The hemoglobin was lower in the female group (94. 5 ±21.7) g/L than male group(126. 2 ± 12. 8) g/L(t =4. 502 ,P ＜0.05) ;The malignant pathology was significant difference(P ＜0.05) in young female group than the male' s;The expression of c-erbB-2 protein has no significant difference(P ＞ 0.05). Conclusions Gastric cancer in young patients was diagnosed later, misdignosed more,and move highly malignant. The prognosis is poor. Those phenomena was obviously in female.

Objective To establish the cancer vaccine (EC109-DC) prepared by fusions of esophageal carcinoma cell line with dendritic cell derived from cord blood and study the biological characteristics and antitumor immunity.Methods CD 34 + hematopoietic stem cells were isolated from cord blood using CD 34 + Progenitor Cell Isolation Kit by magnetic cell sorting system (MACS);expended the cells as DC,and then fused with EC109 by PEG-3600;selected the fusion cells by MACS;observed the phenotypes and proliferation by flow cytometry and technique of cell culture in vitro. Lymphocytes proliferation reaction and the CTL cytotoxicity were examined with MTT.Results EC109-DC could proliferate slowly in vitro and highly expressed CD80,CD83 and CD86.Lymphocytes proliferation reaction and the specific cytotoxicity against EC109 induced by EC109-DC cells were significantly higher than the control groups (P

Objective To investigate the curative effect of Oryz-Aspergillus Enzyme and Pancreatin Tablet (Combizym) combined with esomeprazole Magnesium Enteric-coated Tables (Esomeprazole) in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease with dyspepsia.Methods 133 patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and dyspepsia symptoms were randomly divided into two groups.Group A received esomeprazole 20mg once a day and Combizym 1 pill three times a day,while group B only received esomeprazole 20mg once a day.The symptoms integral,curative effect and adverse reaction in the two groups after treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks were compared.Results Compared with group B,the symptoms of abdominal distension and satiety significantly relieved after 2 weeks treatment in group A (abdominal distension x2 =4.516,P =0.038 ;satiety x2 =4.630,P =0.041),and one more symptom:loose stools relieved after treatment for 4 weeks in group A (abdominal distension x2 =5.317,P =0.025 ;satiety x2 =5.036,P =0.027 ; Loose stools x2 =4.989,P =0.030),while other symptoms didn t relieve (P ＞ 0.05).The total effective rate was 85.2％ vs 68.1％ (x2 =8.917,P =0.030) and 93.4％ vs 69.4％ (x2 =17.526,P =0.001)in gourp A and B after treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks respectively.The symptoms integral reduced notably no matter after 2 or 4 weeks treatment and decreased more significantly in group A (2 weeks t =6.355,P =0.000 ;4 weeks t =5.450,P =0.000).The total effective rate increased more significantly in group A,without serious adverse reaction in both two groups.Conclusion Combined combizym with esomeprazole can better improve the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease with dyspepsia without obvious adverse reaction.

ObjectiveTo investigate the expressions of folate receptor alpha (FOLR1) in 40 esophageal cancerous tissues and its relevance of ABO blood group.MethodsABO blood groups were analyzed in 40 patients.Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR detection were used to detect the expression of folate receptor in cancer and adjacent tissues.Results20％of esophageal cancer was suspected positive (+), 50％ of cancer adjacent tissue was suspected positive (+), 10％ were positive (+), the difference was statistically significant (x2 = 14.48, P ＜0.01).Real Time RT-PCR analysis showed FOLRI low expression in esophageal cancer and adjacent tissues, compared to normal esophageal mucosa, the differences were statistically significant (F1 =53.247, F2 = 116.500, P ＜0.01).ABO blood type and FOLRi in esophageal cancer patients were not significant correlated (P =0.647, P ＞0.05).ConclusionsFOLRI expression was decreased in the esophageal lesions compared with adjacent tissues.Detection of FOLRl expression level in esophageal cancerous tissues and the paired adjacent tissues was helpful for judging the extent of disease and guiding surgery treatment.The FOLRI expression level in esophageal carcinoma tissues had no relationship with ABO blood types.

Objective To investigate the expression of caveolin-1 in the sera of esophageal cancer patients , and the possibility of caveolin-1 to be the tumor marker of an esophageal cancer .Methods ⑴Western blot was used to detect the expression of caveolin-1 in esophageal cancer cell EC 109 and EC9706;⑵The sera were collected from 43 esophageal cancer patients , 30 benign esophageal lesions, and 50 healthy control men.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect caveolin-1 in serum.Results⑴Western blot showed that caveolin-1 was detected in two types of esophageal cancer cell lines .The level of caveolin-1 in the poor dif-ferentiated EC109 cell line was mush higher than in the well differentiated EC 9706 cell line ( t =3.08 , P =0.035 ) .⑵ ELISA re-vealed that the median level of serum caveolin-1 in 43 esophageal cancers (0.104 ng/ml) was significantly higher than 30 benign e-sophageal lesions (0.075 ng/ml) or 50 healthy control men (0.081 ng/ml) (χ2 =23.16, P =0.001).Conclusions Caveolin-1 may be the tumor marker of an esophageal cancer as its level in esophageal patients was higher than in benign esophageal lesions pa -tients or healthy control men .

Objective To study the relationship between mean platelet volume(MPV)and severity of acute pancreatitis.Methods MPV was examined by hematology analyzer.Relationship between MPV and the severity of acute pancreatitis and the effect of sandostatin on MPV in acute pancreatitis were analyzed.Results The MPV of severe acute pancrcatitis was significantly higher than that of controls(P＜0.05),whereas the MPV of mild acute pancreafitis was not(P＞0.05).The APACHE Ⅱ Score and MPV of GH group was significantly lower than that of SS group and control(P＜0.05).Conclusion The MPV could reflect the severity of acute pancreatitis,evaluate the prognosis of acute pancreatitis.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of ilaprazole standard triple therapy with omeprazole standard triple therapy in the treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori ( Hp ) positive duodenal bulb ulcer. Methods 100 patients with Hp positive duodenal bulb ulcer were randomly divided into the two groups by lottery, given ilaprazole standard triple therapy and omeprazole standard triple therapy respectively.After 5 weeks of the course,take gastroscopy and the enzyme 13C-urea breath test,and the Hp eradication rate,clinical efficacy,ulcer heal-ing rate and adverse reactions were observed.Results The Hp eradication rate is better than the omeprazole group (92%vs 78%,χ2 =3.853,P<0.05),while the ulcer healing rate were no significant (96%vs 90%,χ2 =1.561, P>0.05).Conclusion It is a good method in the treatment of Hp positive duodenal bulb ulcer for ilaprazole stand-ard triple therapy.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of c-erbB-2 and rim23, and their clinical significance in gastric cancer. Methods The expression of c-erbB-2 and nm23 were detected by using immunohistochemical (SP) method in 85 surgi-cally removed specimens from patients with gastric cancer. Results The expression rate of c-erbB-2 and nm23 were 74.1% (63/85),52.9% (45/85). c-erbB-2 was positively correlated with the location, size and depth of invasion of gastric cancer, but not related with the histological types and lymph node metastasis. The expression rate of nm23 in patients without lymph node metastasis (85.7%) and in stage Ⅰ+Ⅱ (72.7%) was higher than that in patients with lymph node metastasis (42.2%) and in stage Ⅲ + Ⅳ (46.0%). The depth of inva-sion and clinical stage between the patients with c-erbB-2 over-expression and nm23 low-expression were positively related(P<0.01 or P<0.01). Conclusion c-erbB-2 promoted growth and invasion of gastric cancer, and nm23 restrained metastasis of gastric cancer. Both c-erbB-2 and nm23 could be served as predictors for biological behavior of gastric cancer.

Objective To investigate the effect of alprostadil combined with Salvia miltiorrhiza in treatment of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis.Methods Patients with high cholesterol of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,32 cases in each group.The control group were treated with conventional therapy combined with alprostadil 10μg intravenous injection,the treatment group was given Salvia miltiorrhiza injection 20mL vein infusion on the basis of the control group.The abdominal pain relief time,APACHE -II,C reactive protein levels,prognosis,hospitalization time and cost were compared between the two groups.Results The abdominal pain relief time,APACHE -II score,C reactive protein level in the treatment group were (5.31 ± 1.09)d,(2.34 ±1.18),(48.41 ±22.64)mg/L,which were better than those in the control group (8.16 ±1.39)d, (4,47 ±1.68)and (65.34 ±18.02)mg/L,the differences were statistically significant (t =9.08,0.14,5.84,-0.49,3.31,all P <0.05).There was no difference in mortality between the two groups (P >0.05).The operation rate of control group was 31.25% (10 /32),which was significantly higher than that of the treatment group [6.25%(2 /10)],the total hospitalization time,total cost of the treatment group were (14.50 ±1.55 )d and (4.97 ± 1.00)ten thousand yuan,which were significantly lower than those of the control group (16.78 ±1.83)d and (5.72 ± 1.71)ten thousand yuan,the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =6.65,t =1.00,t =5.39,all P <0.05). Conclusion Alprostadil combined with Salvia miltiorrhiza injection in the treatment of hyperlipidemia hyperlipidemia acute pancreatitis is safe,has good treatment effect,and can shorten the course of disease,reduce patients'hospitaliza-tion time and cost,and effectively improve the cure rate.

Objective To detect the expression of caveolin-1 and PY14caveolin-1 in different esophageal tissues,and study the relationships between the expressions of caveolin-1 and PY14caveolin-1 with the occurrence and development of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.Methods The fresh surgical specimens in 60 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were collected and Western blotting were used to analyze and detect the expressions of caveolin-1 and PY14caveolin-1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,adjacent esophageal tissues and normal esophageal tissues.The expression of cav-1 and PY14caveolin-1 with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were analyzed.Results The expressions of caveolin-1 and PY14caveolin-1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were much higher than that in adjacent tissues and normal esophageal tissues,and the difference between them was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression of caveolin-1 and PY14caveolin-1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, adjacent esophageal tissues and normal esophageal tissues decreases successively,it suggests the caveolin-1 and PY14caveolin-1 may be the key of the occurrence and development of esophageal cancer cells and they could be involved in the migration and invasion of esophageal cancer.
