1.Relationship Between Different c-myc Expression in Differentiation or Proliferative Suppression of HL-60 Cells
Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1994;0(01):-
We compared the changes of c-myc expression, cell growth kinetics, ability to reduce NBT and 3H -TdR incorporation rate of HL-60 cells in low concentration of FCS, or treated by TNF or no treatment, respectively. The results showed that, although the prolifcrative suppression of HL-60 cells treated by 50U/ml TNF was mimicked by adding 1. 0%and 0. 5%FCS in culture media, the differentiation had notappeared and it had not effected on c - myc expression, either. TNF (50U/ml) could inhibit proliferation of HL-60 cells during inducing differentiation and the expression of c-myc oncogene decreased remarkedly. The results indicated that decreased expression of c-myc in TNF treated HL-60 cells were mainly connected with differentiate maturation but not with proliferative suppression.

Objective To assess the value of prenatal ultrasonography on fetal forearm and crus malformations by studying the ultrasonographic characteristic in relation to methods of examination. Methods All fetus were evaluated by using a systematic continuous sequence approach (SCSA) with ultrasonography. A close attention was paid on shapes, structures and movement of fetal forearm and crus, and fetus specimens after induced labor were rescanned by ultrasonography under the condition of mimic intra-uterus. Results Thirty of 33 cases (90.9%) with fetal forearm and crus malformations (totally 48 of 54 limb anormalies, 88.9%) were correctly diagnosed by prenatal ultrasonography. Six limb malformations of 3 cases were missed. Conclusion Our study demonstrates that the malformations of forearm and crus detected with prenatal ultrasonography are highly accordant with the malformations revealed in fetus in vitro. It is important to abide by the SCSA in ultrasonographic diagnosis of fetal forearm and crus malformation.

Objective To investigate changes in serum levels of antinuclear antibody(ANA), anti?double?stranded DNA(dsDNA)antibody and anti?extractable nuclear antigen(ENA)antibody before and after anti?tumor necrosis factor?α(TNF?α)therapy in psoriatic patients. Methods Clinical data obtained from 32 patients with psoriasis were analyzed retrospectively. Of the 32 patients, 13 received intravenous injection of 5 mg/Kg infliximab at week 0, 2, 6 for 3 sessions, then once every 8 weeks(infliximab group), while other 19 received subcutaneous injection of 25 mg etanercept twice every week(etanercept group). The treatments in the 2 groups both lasted more than 3 months. Serum levels of ANA, anti?dsDNA antibody and anti?ENA antibody and changes of clinical symptoms were detected and observed respectively before each treatment in the infliximab group, as well as every 3- 6 months in the etanercept group. The 75%reduction in psoriasis area and severity index(PASI75)and disease activity score of 28 joints(DAS28) were used to evaluate clinical efficacy. Serum levels of ANA, anti?dsDNA antibody and anti?ENA antibody were measured by indirect immunofluorescence(IIF)assay, Western blot analysis combined with enzyme?linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), and Western blot analysis, respectively. Results After 3?month treatment, the 32 patients achieved clinical remission to different extents. Of 32 patients receiving anti?TNF?αtherapy, 7(21.9%)developed new autoantibodies. Concretely speaking, 4 patients in the infliximab group developed autoantibodies in 8.3 ± 5.1 months, including 3 cases positive for ANA and 3 for anti?ENA antibody. Three patients in the etanercept group developed autoantibodies in 9.0 ± 3.0 months, including 3 cases positive for ANA and 1 for anti?ENA antibody. Conclusion Partial patients with psoriasis may develop autoantibodies after anti?TNF?αtherapy.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of Naoxinduotai capsule on the markers of prothrombotic state as plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), von Willebrand factor (vWF) and alpha-granular membrane protein (CD62p) in essential hypertension patients of yang hyperactivity and blood stagnation.
METHODThe 62 essential hypertension patients of yang hyperactivity and blood stagnation were divided into Naoxinduotai capsule + perindopril group (treatment group, 30 subjects) and Perindopril group (control group, 32 subjects). Clinical symptoms, blood pressure and the blood plasma PAI-1, vWF, CD62p of the patients were observed. The blood plasma PAI-1, vWF and CD62p were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA).
RESULTAfter 8 weeks treatment, in treatment group the clinical symptoms became better, and there was a significant difference with control group (P < 0.05). Blood pressure was significantly degraded, but there was not a significant difference with control group. The blood plasma PAI-1, vWF, CD62p level was degraded ,and there were significant differences with control group in all the three makers (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONNaoxinduotai capsule can treat the essential hypertension patients of Yang hyperactivity and blood stagnation, and it has conspicuous advantages in improving the clinical symptoms and the makers of prothrombotic state.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional support in the treatment of primary chylous reflux obstacle caused by primary lymphatic dysplasia among infants and investigate the effects of the essential components of therapeutic formula milk in treating this disease. Methods Seven infants, who were diagnosed at Beijing Shijitan Hospital between 2012 and 2014 with primary chylous reflux obstacle and aged (8.9±4.6) months at the onset, were retrospectively analyzed to evaluate effectiveness of the nutrition support and prognosis of the disease. Results After personalized enteral nutrition support (using proteins, short peptides and medium-chain triglyceride) of (8.3±2.8) months, heights and weights of all the seven infants were kept between the 3rd and 97th percentile lines, and the growth curve showed onward and upward trend.Their plasma albumin levels reached (43.7±4.4) g/L.The infants defecated 1-2 times a day and the texture of feces was formed and soft with yellow color. Conclusion Clinical symptoms and physical signs of the seven infants were improved after nutrition support, which contributed to the recovery.

Hypertension with high serum Homocysteine (Hcy) significantly increases the incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, which is defined as H-Type Hypertension by Chinese scholars. Plenty of researches have confirmed that high prevalence of H-Type Hypertension in Chinese population is now the big public problem in China. Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)treatment shows the advantages in integral regulation, less side effect, and anti-Hcy effect in hypertension. This paper discussed the prevalence, TCM syndrome and TCM treatment progress in H-Type Hypertension to provide some ideas and references for the intervention of H-Type Hypertension by TCM.
