Objective:To study the effects of osteoid hydroxyapatite(OHA)in repair of bone defect.Methods:Bone defect in the size of 9 mm?5 mm?4 mm was made in bilateral thigh-bone entocondyle in 12 rabbits,OHA was implanted in the defects on one side and hydroxyapatite(HA)on another side.2,4,8 and 12 weeks after operation 4 rabbits were killed respectively,bone samples with the implants were prepared and examined by roentgenography,histology and SEM.New bone formation was determined by measuring the area of new bone in the samples.Results:Gross imspection and roentgenography observation showed that the defects were repaired in both groups 12 weeks after operation.Histological examination showed that new bone was increasing,absorption and disintegration of the implants were progressing from 2 to 12 weeks after operation.4,8 and 12 weeks after operation larger new bone area was found in OHA implanted defects than that in HA implanted(P

ObjectiveTo analyze the therapeutic experience and value of hemoperfusion in children with acute tetramine poisoning.MethodsAccording to the choice of children's legal guardian,67 cases with acute tetramine poisoning were divided into two groups:the perfusion group (48 cases),and the control group (19 cases).The patients in perfusion group received blood perfusion based on conventional treatment,while the patients in control group received conventional treatment only.Survival outcomes of patients with different serum tetramine concentrations in two groups were compared.ResultsWhen the serum concentration of tetramine was ＞0.5 mg/dl,patients in both groups died in a short time.When the serum concentration of tetramine was 0.20～0.49 mg/dl,the drop value of serum concentration of tetramine significantly greater in perfusion group [(0.28±0.02) mg/dl] than that in control group [(0.13±0.03) mg/dl] (P＜0.05).When the serum concentration of tetramine was ＜0.2 mg/dl,the drop value of serum concentration of tetramine in two groups showed no significant difference [ (0.12±0.02) mg/dl vs (0.11±0.03) mg/dl] (P＞0.05).Conclusion The treatment method for tetramine poisoning should be selected based on the serum concentration of tetramine.

Objective:To explore the vulnerability and related risk behaviors of the out-of-school adolescents floating with their parents from country to city.Methods:From September to October in 2005,260 out-of-school adolescents who were 14 to 20 years old were investigated in our study.Results:The out-of-school adolescents lacked of HIV/AIDS knowledge and life skills,and their psychosocial competence was at a lower level.The adolescents were open-minded to sex,but they were not conscious of using condoms.Attitude towards people with HIV was positively correlated with a well-being family,harmonious relation between their parents,a stable job,knowledge,life skills and psychosocial competence(such as in control of emotions,empathy).Their life skills were positively correlated with their mothers'schooling satisfaction with family income,a stable job,high scores of knowledge,social responsibility,and interpersonal relationship.Competence of HIV/AIDS prevention was positively correlated with schooling,a stable job,knowledge,life skills,and psychosocial competence.Conclusion:Out-of-school adolescents were vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.Individual level intervention combined with structural intervention could effectively reduce their vulnerability.Effective and feasible health education approach to enhance their life skills and psychosocial competence was a key point to health education on HIV/AIDS prevention.

Objective:To explore the effect of positive psychological intervention based on PERMA model on the fear of cancer recurrence and psychological capital in breast cancer patients during chemotherapy.Methods:A total of 60 breast cancer patients who received chemotherapy from November 2019 to January 2020 were divided into intervention group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine health education. On this basis, the intervention group was given 8 times of positive psychological intervention. The general situation questionnaire, Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form (FoP-Q-SF) and Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PPQ) were used to evaluate the results of the two groups before and after intervention.Results:Before, 4 weeks after and 8 weeks after the intervention, the score of fear of cancer recurrence in the intervention group were 39.67±4.24, 34.60±3.78 and 31.17±3.60. The difference of the score of fear of cancer recurrence at different time points was statistically significant ( F value was 257.757, P<0.05). The scores of psychological capital were 113.20±19.75, 125.57±18.79 and 134.43±17.59. The difference of psychological capital level at different time points was statistically significant ( F value was 154.225, P<0.05). Conclusions:Positive psychological intervention based on PERMA model can reduce the fear of cancer recurrence in breast cancer patients during chemotherapy and improve their psychological capital level.

Objective To observe the fundus imaging characteristics of different stages of syphilitic posterior uveitis. Methods Retrospective cases series. Forty-six eyes of 32 patients with syphilitic posterior uveitis were included. There were 14 patients (16 eyes) and 18 patients (30 eyes) were assigned to acute stage group (with the course<2 months) and chronic stage group (with the course≥2 months) respectively. All eyes received the examination of indirect ophthalmoscopy, color fundus photography, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). All patients received regular anti-syphilitic treatment. Color fundus photography and OCT were followed after treatment. The fundus imaging characteristics of different stages of syphilitic posterior uveitis were observed. Results Indirect ophthalmoscopy and fundus color photography showed that in the acute stage group, there were 3/16 eyes with optic disc edema;4/16 eyes with a yellowish, placoid lesion involving the macular. There were only some pigment alterations on the fundus after treatment. In the chronic stage group, there were 4/30 eyes with optic disc hyperemia, 3/30 eyes with cystoid macular edema. After treatment, the optic hyperemia vanished gradually, but there were still some pigment alterations. The FFA images of two groups showed various vascular leakages. In the chronic stage group, patients also showed hyper-fluorescence with cystoid macular edema. The patients with course 2–3 years have more transmitted fluorescence on FFA. OCT showed that all eyes in the acute stage group had lost the ellipsoid zone, with irregular granular reflectivity of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) layer, 6 eyes with subretinal fluid in the macular. After treatment, the ellipsoid zone and RPE layer structure recovered gradually. In the chronic stage group, all eyes showed widespread loss of the ellipsoid zone, pigment migration and (or) cystoid macular edema. After treatment, the ellipsoid zone showed partial recovery. The outer ellipsoid zone was still discontinuous in patients with long duration. Conclusions Syphilitic posterior uveitis patients generally had normal fundus, but some cases had a yellowish, placoid lesion involving the macular. FFA showed various vascular leakages, and the chronic stage group showed more transmitted fluorescence. The major OCT change was loss of the ellipsoid zone or with subretinal fluid. After treatment, fundus showed no abnormal manifestations except some pigment alterations;the ellipsoid zone structure recovered gradually in acute stage eyes, partially recovered in chronic stage eyes.

Objective To determine whether the cross-sectional area (CSA)of the calf measured with MRI could stage lower ex-tremity lymphedema (LEL)secondary to gynecological cancer treatments.Methods 148 patients were enrolled in this research.116 females with unilateral LEL and 32 without LEL after gynecological cancer treatments underwent calf MRI and water displacement. Total soft tissue CSA (T),muscle CSA (M)and subcutaneous tissue CSA (S)of affected calf,and difference of T (DT),M (DM) and S (DS)between calves were obtained on MRI at mid-calf level.Volume of affected calf and difference of volume (DV)between calves were obtained by water displacement.Statistical analysis was performed to determine feasibility of MRI measurements for ac-cessing LEL.Results There were close correlations between volume and T or S of affected calf,and between DV and DT or DS of calves.The correlations of stages of LEL with T and S of affected calf as well as DT and DS were stronger than the volume of affect-ed calf and DV (P< 0.01).Multivariate analysis showed more significant differences in T and S than in volume of affected calf,and in DS than in DV between LEL stages (P< 0.05).No difference was found in volume of affected calf and in DV between stage 0 andⅠ. For staging LEL,DS showed the most profound discrimination ability among all measurable parameters.Conclusion DS of calves could be the most reliable parameter recommended for staging and early diagnosis of LEL.

Objective To investigate the effect of vitamin D supplementation on biochemical imdexes and compliations in patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Methods Two hundred and ten patients with type 2 diabetes of the People's Hospital of Chongli County were selected from January 2001 to January 2002.According to the envelope sampling method they were divided into vitamin D supplementation group of 105 people and not supplemented group of 105 people,and 105 healthy people at the same period as control group.Compared the biochemical baseline indicators differences.After 10 years of follow-up,the biochemical indexes and the complications were detected and compared again.Results After ten years follow-up,82 cases of supplementation group were followed up,78 cases of not supplemented group were followed up.The level of FPG and HbA1c of supplementation group and not supplementation group were higher than that of control group,the differernce was significant(P＜0.05).In supplement group,TG levels,25(OH) D3 concentrations and BMD values were (2.11±0.41) mmol/L,(16.88±5.02) μg/L and-1.15±(-0.25) respectively,and equal to the control group ((2.12 ± 0.38) mmol/L,(44.83 ± 21.25) mmol/L,-0.94 ± (-0.21)),and TG levels were lower than not supplemented group,25 (OH) D3 concentrations and high bone density higher than not supplemented group((24.53±15.61) mmol/L,-3.15±(-0.33),P＜0.05).FPG,Cr,BUN,UA,FIB,and BNP in supplement group were(10.00±2.32) mmol/L,(64.77±9.31) μmol/L,(6.41± 1.24) mmol/L,(339.83±43.74) mmol/L,(2.41±0.46) g/L and (588.92±73.69) ng/L,in not supplemented group were (15.60±2.51) mmol/L,(92.69±11.68).μmol/L,(8.70±2.35) mmol/L,(398.94±49.13) mmol/L,(2.89±0.54) g/L and (761.09±91.52) ng/L,all higher than those in control group ((5.01 ±0.59) mmol/L,(57.81±6.61) μmol/L,(4.52±1.11) mmol/L,(311.83±49.51) mmol/L,(2.00±0.31) g/L,(434.31 ± ±71.03) ng/L),and those indexes in supplement group all higher than in not supplemented group(P＜0.05).The level of HbA1c of supplement group and not supplemented group both higher than control group((11.32 ± ±2.03) ％,(13.22±4.17) ％ and (5.34±1.99) ％,P＜0.05).There were 45 cases in supplement group occurred diabetic nephropathy and cardiovascular complications,and 65 cases of not supplemented group (x2 =15.07,P＜0.05).Conclusion The relationship of Vitamin D and various complications of diabetes mellitus are closely,and supplementing vitamin D can reduce the complications of diabetes.
