Objective To explore the application value of automated cell DNA ploidy analysis system in the diagnosis of benign and malignant serous cavity effusion.Methods 262 cases of serous cavity effusion(169 cases of pleural effusion,78 cases of ascites,15 cases of pericardial effusion)were treated by centrifugation,2 slices of each sample were made.One of them used for dyeing Feulgen,which given automatic cell DNA ploidy analysis,another one for Papanicolaou staining,with a conventional cytology.The positive detection rate of these 2 kinds of different detection methods for malignant serous cavity effusion were compared.Results 119 cases(45.4％)of 262 cases abnormal were detected by conventional cytology of serous cavity effusion.Meanwhile,113 cases (43.1 ％)were detected abnormal by DNA ploidy analysis in the same samples.73 cases of tumor cells and suspicious tumor cells were found by conventional cytology,and different ploidy cells were found in all of these samples In conventional cells,46 cases of nuclear heterogeneous cells were found,while only 34 cases exist different ploidy cells.Conclusion Automated cell DNA ploidy analysis system is helpful to improve the positive diagnosis rate of serous cavity effusion,which can be used as an important auxiliary means of cytology.

Objective To study on Sophora flavescens against hepatitis B virus (HBV) and its mechanism.Methods HepG2.2.15 cells were cultured in vitro, respectively with the negative control group without drug intervention, positive control group (5-Fu group) which was given 0.77 mmol/L 5-Fu, Matrine group treated with 0.77 mmol/L Matrine intervention.HBSAg, HBeAg inhibition rate and cell survival rate, apoptosis rate, cell cycle as observation indexes, comprehensive evaluation of matrine effect on anti 2.2.15 cell HBV in vitro.Results The positive control group, matrine group compared with the negative control group, the inhibition rate of HBsAg and HBeAg were statistically difference ( all P<0.05 ) , when positive control group and Oxymatrine group compared, the inhibition of HBsAg and HBeAg, the difference were statistically (all P<0.05).Cell survival rate, when the positive control group and the negative control group compared, had no significant difference (P<0.05), when matrine group compared with the negative control group, there were significant differences in the survival rate of the cells (t=4.25, P<0.05).Rate of apoptosis cells in negative control group and positive group had not statistically significant, matrine group apoptosis rate was higher than that of the negative control group and the control group (P<0.05).The cells in G0/G1 phase, had no significant differences of distribution in each group, the cells in G2/M phase, the positive control group and matrine group were lower than those in negative control group (P<0.05), matrine group was lower than that of the positive control group (P<0.05).The S phase cells of positive control group and matrine group were higher than those in negative control group (P<0.05), matrine group was higer than that of the positive control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Matrine has obvious effect of anti HBV, inducing cell apoptosis, cell proliferation arrest in S phase.

OBJECTIVE To understand the prevalence of HIV infection in hospitalized patients and the prevention measures.METHODS The prevalence of HIV infection of the hospitalized patients in our General Hospital from Jan 2005 to Jun 2009 was investigated retrospectively.The time,population and endemic distribution of the HIV infected patients were analyzed.RESULTS Forty-eight HIV infected patients(19 HIV patients),were screened out from 271 955 hospitalized patients from Jan 2005 to Jun 2009 with year by year increasing.Most of HIV infected patients(62.5%) came from Beijing,Henan and Hebei provinces.Some sporadic patients came from other areas.CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of HIV infected patients among hospitalized patients in our hospital is increasing in recent years.The prevention measures in diagnosis and therapy process for these patients should be strengthened to reduce hospital infection.

Objective To investigate the expression of hMLH_1 in gastric cancer and its significance,Methods The expressions of hMLH_1 protein and mRNA were detected by immunohistochemistry and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) in 68 cases of gastric cancer tissues,33 cases of para-cancer tissues and(35 cases) of normal gastric tissues.Apoptosis was assayed by terminal deoxytransferase mediated dUTP nicked labeling.Results The positive expression rates of hMLH_1 mRNA were 63.3%(43/68),100%(33/33) and 100%(35/35),and those of protein were 61.8%(42/68),93.9%(31/33),100%(35/35),respectively,in gastric cancer tissues,para-cancer tissues and normal gastric tissues.There was a correlation between the expression of hMLH_1 and clinical grade of gastric cancer(r=0.531,P

Introduction: Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) has been considered as the gold standard treatment for obstructive voiding dysfunction in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia. This standard treatment has been challenged by consistent data demonstrating the superiority of Holmium enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP). We review summarizes the literature comparing HoLEP to traditional therapies TURP, open prostatectomy (OP) for BPH these are widely used and have long term efficacy data. Patients undergoing HoLEP have significant shortened catheterization times, decreased length of hospital stay, fewer serious postoperative complications, greater reduction in post-operative IPSS, greater improvements in post-operative Qmax and lower rates of repeat endoscopic procedures for recurrent symptoms compared with TURP and OP. Furthermore, HoLEP can be used to resect more than 100 grams tissue and it is equivalent efficacy to open prostatectomy. Conclusion: HoLEP as the new gold standard treatment for surgical BPH therapy further. HoLEP remains its difficult learning curve when compared with traditional transurethral resection.

Objective To investigate the influence of transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1) on macrophage scavenger receptor (ScR) class A and B(ScR-B,CD36) in order to provide theoretical foundation for expounding the formation and therapy of atherosclerosis(AS).Methods THP-1 derived macrophages were divided into control group and experimental group,the cells in experimental group were treated with 3.0 mg?L-1Anti TGF-?1 Ab,the cells in control group were treated with 3.0 mg?L-1 IgG. The 125I-acetylated low density lipoprotein (125I-Ac-LDL for ScR-A) and 125I-oxidized low density lipoprotein (125I-Ox-LDL for CD36) uptaking (including 4℃ binding,37℃ association and degradation) were measured respectively.Influence of anti TGF-?1 antibody (Anti TGF-?1 Ab) on the ScR-A and CD36 mRNA expressions in THP-1 derived macrophages was measured meanwhile,respectively.Results Compared with control group ( binding: 8.23 ?g?g-1 ?1.24 ?g?g-1 protein,association:45.69 ?g?g-1 ?6.92 ?g?g-1 protein,and degradation: 112.18 ?g?g-1 ?20.15 ?g?g-1 protein),Anti TGF-?1 Ab increased 125I-Ac-LDL binding(48.67 ?g?g-1 ?6.52 ?g?g-1 protein),association (412.30 ?g?g-1?12.21 ?g?g-1 protein),and degradation (896.48 ?g?g-1 ?32.74 ?g?g-1 protein) significantly (P
