Korean Journal of Urology 1981;22(5):374-377
A clinical observation was made on 11 cases of kidney transplantation donors performed in the Department of Urology, School of Medicine, Kyung Hee University during the period from August, 1978 to October, 1979. The following results were obtained: 1) The age was ranged from 24 to 72 years old and most favorable age was in 50 to 59 years old The average was 51.7 years old. 2) The sex ratio, male to female, was 4:7. 3) Relation between donor and recipient: Related living donor: 10 cases, Unrelated living donor: 1 4) Among total 11 operated patients, thoracoabdominal incision performed on 10 cases and anterior subcostal incision was done only 1 case. 5) Postoperative renal function was estimated through the serum B.U.N and creatinine level at within postoperative 24 hours and it was almost normal range 6) Average operation time was 255 minutes. 7) The postoperative complications were would infection (2 cases), urinary tract infection(1 case), pneumothorax (1 case) and bronchopneumonia (1 case).

6.Clinical Observation on Renal Angiography.
Korean Journal of Urology 1981;22(4):383-388
Renal angiography is now one of invaluable adjuncts to urologic disease with computed tomography and ultrasonography. Authors observed in 50 cases of renal angiography which performed in the Department of Urology, Kyung Hee University Hospital during the period from September. 1977 to August 1980. In detecting and defining both the presence and extent of renal diseases such as tumor, cyst, injury and vascular disorder, renal angiography is highly reliable and accurate.

Korean Journal of Urology 1998;39(5):411-417
PURPOSE: This study was undertaker in order to develop and characterize a new murine renal cell carcinoma(RCC) model which may be closely analogous to the human RCC and which may serve as a basis for the evaluation of new therapeutic modalities. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The tumor being investigated, Rag cell line, arose spont- aneously as a renal adenocarcinoma in an inbred Balb/c mouse. Tumor cells were injected into subrenal capsule and injected intravenously and intraperitoneally to induce tumors. Among the orthotopically inoculated animals, some were performed a nephrectomy to mimic the situation mostly often encountered in the human. RESULTS: 1 Tumors were transferred to all animals where inoculated into subrenal capsule. 2. The growth rates of tumor-bearing mice were retarded compared to control mice. 3. Tumors grew exponentially when inoculated into subrenal capsule. The doubling time of tumor was approximately 13 days. 4. Spontaneous lung metastasis could be better induced in the subrenal capsule model(80%). Higher rate of lung metastasis was obtained by intravenous inoculation of tumor cells(85.7%). 5. After nephrectomy performed on 14 days following subrenal capsular Inoculation of tumor cells, lung metastasis developed spontaneously in 80% of cases. CONCLUSIONS: The behavior of Rag tumor following subrenal capsular inoculation mimics that of human RCC from the viewpoint of the formation of primary tumor mass on the kidney followed by the development of spontaneous metastases. This model can be used for the evaluation of the therapeutic erects both on the primary tumor as well as on the metastatic disease.

Korean Journal of Urology 1986;27(1):159-163
The urodynamic studies of patient with neurogenic bladder has been useful in diagnosis, classification and treatment. The urodynamic studies were performed in 72 patients with neurogenic bladder visited to the Department of Urology, Kyung Hee University, hospital during the period from January, 1983 to December, 1984. The results as follows: l. The age of patient at the time of the urodynamic study ranged from 4 to 80 years (mean 48.3 years), male was 57 cases and female was 16 cases. 2. In 72 cases, 32 cases were spine lesions, 24 cases were brain lesions, 10 cases were peripheral nerve lesions and 6 cases were others. 3. The uroflowmetry and the urethral pressure profilometry were not available for diagnosis and classification of neurogenic bladder. 4. In 24 cases of brain lesions, 15 cases were detrusor hyperreflexia or normoreflexia, 9 cases were detrusor hyporeflexia and 1O cases were combined detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia. 5. In 32 cases of spine lesions, detrusor hyperreflexia or normoreflexia in 20 cases, detrusor hyporeflexia in l2 cases and detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia in l9 cases. 6. In 1O cases of peripheral nerve lesions, 4 cases were detrusor hyperreflexia or normoreflexia, 6 cases were detrusor hyporeflexia and 5 cases were combined detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia.

Korean Journal of Urology 1979;20(5):503-505
Ureterocele is a congenital cystic dilatation of the lower end of the ureter, the outer lining of which is bladder mucosa and the inner surface mucosa of ureter. Prolapsus of a large ureterocele through the female urethra occurs rarely, at any time of life and is infrequently reported in literature. Herein we reported a case of prolapsing ureterocele in 34 years old woman repaired surgically.
