The incidence of chemotherapy related among pediatric cancer patient was 90.1%. Adequate oral intake and nutrition have been shown to be important. These consideration prompted the decision to survey by means of a questionnaire. The questionnaire were included nausea-vomiting peak time, causing factor coping method, education need, diet pattern change and food preference. Results are fellow 1. Almost(90.1%) pediatric cancer patient experienced nausea-vomiting during chemotherapy and required coping method or reducing method. 2. The food preference form were identified. Those were fluid form, cold and small amount and frequently eating form. The patients preferered noodles, chickens, soap, juice. The results of the survey indicate that nasea-vomiting relief nursing intervention are required pediatric cancer patient received chemotherapy. Health care personnels recognize the pediatric cancer patient's diet pattern and encourage the nutritional counselling. The care of patient should be multidisciplinary team approach and the nurse occupies a key position with in this team, which includes the pediatrician, nutritionist.

Hepatits B virus[HBV] is a world wide-pathogen that causes hepatitis. Infection with HBV may be chronic and is associated with subsequent development of hepatocellular carcinoma. In korea the prevalence rate of B hepatitis is estimated to be 7-10%. Despite the severiority of B hepatitis its pathogenesis, chronicity mechanism, prevention and treatment mode have not been developed. The most vexing technical problem in the biology of HBV has been lack of a practical in vitro system that allows infection and replication of this virus under controlled experimental condition. This study was carried out to develop in vitro model of HBV using liver organ culture system. Infection was carried out co-cultivation of 260 micrometer thick-rat liver slices with HBV obtaind from liver biopsy of patient with HBs antigenemia. Aliquots of culture medium were taken in at 6 hour intervals. Hepatitis surface antigen of culture medium in 12 hour incubation increased ab about two folds in comparing with 6 hour incubation. Dot blot analysis of extrachromosomal HBV DNA in cultured rat liver slices using whole HBV DNA as a probe. Fold increment of viral DNA after 12 hours incubation versus 6 hours was measured as 1.7-fold. The presence of viral antigens and Dane particles were observed with immunohistochemical and electron microscopic techniques. In coclusion I present evidece of development for in vitro model of HBV using organ culture system. This system will be useful for understanding the pathogenesis.

People with epilepsy have a higher risk of developing psychiatric problems than the general population. The degree of affective symptoms such as depression and anxiety was affected by seizure control and epileptic syndromes. The higher degree of depression symptoms was more likely to elicit the suicidal ideation, psychosocial problems, adverse events of antiepileptic drugs, and poor quality of life. Antiepileptic drugs also provoke various psychiatric problems in people with epilepsy due to their specifi c action mechanisms on epilepsy. Carbamazepine, valproate, and lamotrigine can be used as a mood stabilizer, whereas phenobarbital, vigabatrin, topiramate, and levetiracetam may cautiously apply to PWE with psychiatric comorbidity.

A case of toxic epidermal necrolysis(TEN) in 20 years old female was presente d. The characteristic skin lesions of toxic epidermal necrolyais developed after oral administration of Aspirin for common cold. The cause of the disease. was probably due to Aspirin, but on the microscopic pathologic findings intraepithelial and subcorneal bullae which is characteristic in the staphylococcal induced TEN were noticed. She was treated with a massive systemic corticosteroids(Dexamethasone 12mg/d), antibiotics(Lincocin l.5grn/d), Fluids with electrolytes, sedatives and topical measures. So she was discharged with excellent results in a week of admission.
