3.Intravascular Ultrasound-based Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation of Arterial Vessel Wall Strain Distribution.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(6):1244-1248
Quantitative measurement of strain distribution of arterial vessel walls due to pulsatile blood flow within the vascular lumen is valuable for evaluating the elasticity of arterial wall and predicting the evolution of plaques. The present paper shows that the three-dimensional (3D) strain distribution are estimated through uni-directional coupling for 3D vessel and blood models reconstructed from intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) images with the computational. fluid dynamics (CFD) numerical simulation technique. The morphology of vessel wall and plaques as well as strain distribution can be visually displayed with pseudo-color coding.

4.Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy for early renal carcinoma: a discussion of related issues
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(10):-
Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy is gaining more and more popularity in treating patients with early renal carcinoma in recent years.Compared with radical nephrectomy,laparoscopic partial nephrectomy is a mini-invasive,safe method with satisfactory postoperative survival rate.However, there were still limited laboratory and clinical data about laparoscopic partial nephrectomy,and the experimental data of traditional laparoscopic surgery and open surgery were still used.Based on the existing data and the authors' experience,this article proposes three hypotheses for the problems puzzling urologic surgeons;the authors hope to verify the hypotheses through basic or clinical research.
5.Progress in the primate models of Alzheimers disease
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Alzheimers disease (AD) is a progressively and retrogressively neurodegenerative disorder of central nervous system severely threatening the aged. The studies of animal models, which share the very similar neuropathological characteristics with human, provide tools for the understanding of the etiology, mechanisms and medicine screening of AD. The distribution and chemical composition of amyloid-beta (A- beta) peptide -positive deposits were investigated in various non-human primate models. Various proportions of A- beta deposits contained cholinesterase activities, apolipoprotein E(ApoE) and alpha1-antichymotrypsin immunoreactivity. Alterations in the basal forebrain cholinergic system have been widely studied, but the magnitude of decline and relationship to cognitive impairment are still a matter of debate. This article also includes the latest research of the changing on tau, subtle structural alterations in axons, and neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) in the brain tissues of the non-human primate models.
6.Screening and Preliminary Identification of Nitrifying Bacteria in Soil
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
ve To control and minimize the water pollution by nitrogen. Methods The autotrophic amino-oxidizing bacteria in soil were screened by enrichment and incubation. After bacterio-morphological identifica-tion their nitrifying rates were determined. Results All of the 12 screened strains were gram-negative and in the shape of brevi-rod dorminantly. The colonies with a dorminant form of short diameter in round shape, light yellow and smooth formed after 7-day incubation at 28℃ . The nitrifring rates ranged 0.40 mg/ (L?d)~1. 15 mg/ (L?d) . Conclusion The screened 12 strains all presented nitrifying function, some of them could be used to control water environment pollution by nitrogen.
7.Ultrastructural Observation on the Epididymis of Rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
By the routine electron microscopy the ultrastructure of the epididymis of 10 rats is studied.Except the principal cells,there is no significant difference in the ultrastructure of the other cell types of the epididymal epithelium between segments.The principal cell shows the ultrastructural characteristics of secretion and absorption.However,the ultrastructural characteristics of the principal cells in the proximal epididymvs show more tendency to absorbent and that in the distal epididymis show more tendency to secretory.Further-more it is observed that some halo cells are surrounded by small cells which possess long processes.Some or a few number of clear cells in the caudal epididymis contain some crystaloid inclusions in their basal cytoplasm.The presence of the fenestrated capillary in the peritubular tissue is also found.The meaning of the ultrastructures mentioned above is discussed.
8.Analysis of the fixed effect model by relative operating characteristic curve
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1998;0(S1):-
The principle of the relative operating characteristic (ROC) curve, along with constructing curve, a cutoff value between therapeutic and non-therapeutic concentration, formula for calculation, and statistic analysis, was introduced. Illustrated by an example, ROC was an important tool in analysis of the fixed effect model. It can beapplied to determine the relationship between a blood concentration and its action, probability of certain concentration producing therapeutic action, and high or low limit of therapeutic window, etc.
9.Methods in analysis of the dynamics of drug interaction and its software CoDrug
Qingshan ZHENG ; Ruiyuan SUN ;
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2000;0(01):-
In clinical and experimental therapeutics, the quantitative analysis of drug interaction will supply a tool for optimizing and evaluating a combination in the study of compound drug, the design of combination drug therapy, and the evaluation of traditional medicine formulae. This paper listed the systematic methods of the quantitative analysis, including the weighted modification method for optimizing constituents, doses and ratio in combination, the parameter method and the reflection method for dynamic analysis of drug interaction, and a comprehensive method for multiple response indexes. The software CoDrug about these methods also was introduced.
10.Common questions of rank data and the statistical treatments in pharmacodynamical statistics
Qingshan ZHENG ; Ruiyuan SUN ;
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(05):-
Qualitative data are often converted to quantitative data by ranking in pharmacodynamical statistics. Some common questions were listed and discussed with examples in this paper, including ranking method and the selection of statistical method.
