1.People-orientation for employee management in hospital administration
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2009;25(7):491-493
Such management theories as social exchange, equity and incentives are called into play to probe, from an array of perspectives, into the functionality and role of the employee orientation in people-oriented concept as it is used in contemporary hospital management. The paper also analyzed the dialectical relationship between the concept of "employee-orientation" and that of "patients or customers orientation", and the dialectical relationship between "people-orientation" model and "policy-orientation" model It pinpoints the mistake of overemphasizing "patients or customer orientation" and neglecting employee management in hospital management, proposing a people-oriented path centering on employees in hospital management.

In order to study the in vitro culture and expansion of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in rats (rMSCs) and the possibility of rMSCs differentiation into retinal neural cells, the bone marrow-derived cells in SD rats were isolated and cultured in vitro. The retinal neural cells in SD rats were cultured and the supernatants were collected to prepare conditioned medium. The cultured rMSCs were induced to differentiate by two steps. Immunofluorescence method and anti-nestin, anti-NeuN, anti-GFAP and anti-Thy1.1 antibodies were used to identify the cells derived from the rMSCs. The results showed that the in vitro cultured rMSCs grew well and expanded quickly. After induction with two conditioned media, rMSCs was induced to differentiate into neural progenitor cells, then into retinal neural-like cells which were positive for nestin, NeuN, GFAP and Thy1.1 detected by fluorescence method. The findings suggested that rMSCs could be culture and expanded in vitro, and induced to differentiate into retinal neural-like cells.

The clinical data of 109 patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment were retrospectively analyzed and the relationships among retinal detachment, refraction and the shapes of hole in different age groups discussed. The results showed that myopia was more commonly seen in the patients less than 40 years old and the occurrence of myopia was gradually decreased in the patients over 40 years old. Round hole was more commonly seen in the patients less than 40 years old and horseshoe-shaped tears were more often found in the age group of over 40 years old.

Objective To discuss treatment effect of ritodrine and ambroxol on acceleration of fetal lung maturation, reduction of asphyxia of premature infants in premature women, and nursing. Methods 218 pregnant woman with premature delivery were divided into the treatment group (110 cases) and the control group ( 108 cases)stochastically. The treatment group adopted ritodrine and ambroxol, the control group adopted routine method. The curative effect was compared between two groups. Results The prolonged pregnancy time, rate of term labor, rate of newborn body weight >2500 g,incidence rate of puerperal infection, rate of neonatal pneumonia in the treatment group were better than those of the control group. Conclusions Appli cation of ritodrine in treating premature delivery proved to be safe and effective. For premature infants < 34 weeks, prenatal use of ambroxol may promote the fetal lung maturity and reducecomplication rate of mothers and infants.

Objective To evaluate the prognostic factors of elderly patients with noscomial Candidemia in intensive care unit. Methods A retrospective study was carried out in 75 elderly patients with noscomial Candidemia from 2001 to 2008. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to find the correlations of prognosis with clinical and biochemical parameters. Results A total of 75 Candida strains were isolated from blood. The proportion of non-albicans species reached to 70.7%. Fluconazole-resistant candidiasis was increased. Overall mortality rate was 48.0%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that septic shock, comorbid bacteremia, higher serum creatinine and sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score more than 10 were independent predictors for in-hospital mortality (Ward=6.34, 5.15, 8.04, 6.82, all P>0.05). Conclusions Noscomical Candidemia in elderly critical illness patients leads a high mortality, the proportion of nonalbicans species and fluconazole-resistant candidiasis increase. The blood culture and drug sensitive test should be performed routinely to provide proper evidence for antifungal therapy. Monitoring the high risk factors, effective and reasonable therapeutics are the guarantee for reducing the mortality induced by Candidemia.

Objective To study the protective mechanism of Gross Saponin Tribulus Terrestris(GSTT) on the neonatal rat ventricular cardiocytes injured by hypoxia and the effect on protein kinase C(PKC).Methods The hypoxia-ischemia model was performed by treating the cultured neonatal rat ventricular cardiocytes with NaCN.The effect of GSTT(100 and 30 mg?L~(-1)) on the contents of ?PKC and ?PKC were detected by flow cytometry and laser confocal microscopy system. Results GSTT up-regulated ?PKC and ?PKC expressions. The contents of ?PKC and ?PKC in GSTT 100 mg?L~(-1) group(1 325.00?53.25,810.55?36.89;66.22?6.23,40.12?2.21) were increased significantly than those in model group(792.00?32.36,492.40?30.15;32.70?2.78,29.28?4.82)(P

Aim To investigate the effects of angiotensinI-converting enzyme inhibitor enalaprilat on proliferation,Endothelin-1 and Nitric oxide System of neonatal cardiac fibroblasts and to probe its mechanism of inhibiting cardiac fibrosis. Methods CFb was isolated by trypsin digestion method.MTT colorimetric assay was adopted to evaluate cell proliferation,HYP method was used to test the collagen synthesis;FCM for cell cycle;Nitric acid reductase method,radio-immunological method was used to detect NO content and ET-1 activity respectively. Results Ena decreased contents of MTT and HYP dramatically. The percentage ratio of phase G0/G1 was increaseded and the percentage radio of phase S was decreased.NO content was increased and ET-1 activity was dropped in a dose and time-dependent manner. Conclusion The anti-proliferative effects of Ena on CFb can be attributed to dropping endothelin-1 activity and enhancing Nitric oxide.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
Objective:To evaluate the safety of dental treatment in pediatric patients with leukemia. Methods:Eighty-nine patients were included and dental treatment was conducted under the condition of neutrophil counts ranging from 3.0?109/L to 10?109/L and platelet counts of more than 50?109/L. Supportive medical care was continued, the patients were monitored for at least one month after dental treatment for bleeding, pain, local and/or systemic infection, fever and other complications. Results:Dental treatments were performed successfully. All patients, except one with delayed wound healing after tooth extraction, recovered uneventfully. Conclusions:As long as the hematological values are within the suggested range, preoperative preparation and supportive medical care are well conducted, dental treatment can be safely performed in pediatric patients with leukemia.
