5.RECONSTRUCTION OF FULL THICKNESS DEFECTS OF THE CHECK WITH TWO TILING TISSUE FLAPS (A Report of 4 Cases)
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
From June 1980 to September 1982,4 cases of full thickness check defect, all caused by surgical removal of malignant tumor and reconstructed successfully with 2 tiling tissue flaps, are reported. Buccal mucosa defect was repaired with forearm free flap in 3 cases, and with forehead tunnel flap in another case. Skia defects of the check in these 4 cases were repaired successfully with rotated submaxillary falp and free upper arm flap respectively. It is an innovation, as well as an effective measure to repair the penetrating full thickness defect of the check with microsurgical technique to transplant 2 free tissue flaps simutaneously.

8.Effects of domestic recombinant adenovirus p53 injection combined with cisplatin on growth and apoptosis of ovarian carcinoma cell lines
Tumor 2009;(7):631-635
Objective:To evaluate the effects of domestic recombinant adenovirus p53 injection (rAd-p53,Gendicine) combined with cisplatin (DDP) on growth and apoptosis of ovarian carcinoma cell lines. Methods:MTT assay, flow cytometry, and Western blotting were used to compare the effects of rAd-p53, DDP and their combination on the growth, cell cycle, apoptotic rate, and p53 protein expression of ovarian carcinoma cell lines. Results:rAd-p53 inhibited ovarian carcinoma cells proliferation in dosE- and timE-dependent manners. After combined treatment, the growth inhibition rate was significantly increased (P<0.01). There was no significant diffE-rence in the inhibition potency induced by combined treatment with different sequences (P>0.05). Combined treatment significantly arrested ovarian carcinoma cell lines in G0/G1 phase at 72 h, the cell number in S phase was significantly decreased and the apototic rate was significantly increased (P<0.01). High expression of p53 protein was detected in ovarian carcinoma cell lines at 72 h after administeration of rAd-p53. Conclusion:rAd-p53 tranfects the exogenous widE-type p53 into the genome group of human ovarian tumor cells, induces p53 protein expression, thereby arresting tumor cells at G0/G1 phase, inhibiting tumor growth, and inducing apoptosis.
9.Insight into bone tissue engineering scaffold materials and their vascularization
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(38):6832-6838
BACKGROUND:With the development of tissue engineering technology, repairing large-area bone defects using tissue-engineered bone has become a hot spot.
OBJECTIVE:To introduce the bone tissue engineering seed cel s, cytokines, as wel as the characteristics of scaffold materials and their vascularization.
METHODS:With the key words of“bone tissue engineering, scaffold, vascularization”in Chinese and in English, respectively, a computer-based search of articles published from January 2000 to January 2012 was performed in CNKI and PubMed databases. Articles with the summary of bone tissue engineering, bone tissue engineering scaffolds and scaffold vascularization were included.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The selection of seed cel s, application of cytokines, scaffold material performance and degree of vascularization in bone tissue engineering has an important influence on the repair of bone injuries. Appropriate seed cel s is the study foundation in bone tissue engineering, cytokines serve as catalysts, and scaffold materials with good three-dimensional structure can promote cel growth and proliferation, tissue ingrowth, osteogenesis and vascularization. Each scaffold has its own inadequacies, so the combination of a variety of materials can reach a combined effect to meet the clinical demand. In addition, it is important to actively seek new material preparation technology and improve the existing methods, in order to create a more excel ent scaffold. But the vascularization is stil a major test for bone tissue engineering. Current methods to promote vascularization of tissue-engineered bone have some defects. For examples, the use of growth factors to promote vascularization can lead to disease progression in patients with metabolic abnormalities during;microsurgical techniques for tissue engineering bone vascularization are easy to cause trauma and deformity at other parts, which is not conducive to the patient’s physical rehabilitation.
10.Serum heart-type fatty acid-binding protein and platelet activating factor levels in Kawasaki disease and their clinical significance
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2011;10(4):265-267
Forty six children with Kawasaki disease (observer group) were classified as coronary artery lesions (CAL) subgroup (19 cases) and non-coronary artery lesions (NCAL) subgroup (27 cases)according to echocardiography; 50 healthy children served as control group.Serum heart-type fatty acidbinding protein (h-FABP), platelet activating factor (PAF), cardiac tropnin Ⅰ (cTnI) and creatine kinase isoenzyme MB (CK-MB) levels of all subjects were detected. The results showed that the h-FABP and cTnI levels and positive rate in observer group were higher those in control group (P < 0.05 ), while there were no differences in CK-MB level and positive rate between two groups ( P > 0.05 ).The h-FABP positive rate in observation group was higher than the positive rates of cTnI and CK-MB (P <0.05).The PAF level, PLT and polymorphonuclear neutrophil count in observer group were higher than those in control group ( P <0.05).The h-FABP and PAF levels in CAL subgroup were higher than those in NCAL subgroup (P <0.05).The results suggest that serum h-FABP and PAF can be used as diagnostic indicators for Kawasaki disease complicated with coronary artery lesions.
