2.Clinical study on deanxit in the treatment of post-stroke depression
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(17):2307-2308
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of deanxit in treatment of post-stroke depression (PSD).Methods60 patients with PSD were randomly divided into treatment group ( plus with deanxit) and control group (plus with estazolam necessarily). At the baseline and at 2 weeks,4 weeks, 8 weeks after the treatment, the efficacy was assessed with HAMD, SSS, and ADL rating scale respectively. Results After 2,4,8 weeks treatment, HAMD and SSS scores of the treatment group significantly decreased compared with the control group ( all P < 0. 01 ), and ADL scores of the treatment group increased significantly compared with the control group ( P < 0. 01 ). Conclusion Deanxit could effectively relieve depressing symptoms and neurological impairment of PSD, and clinical side effects of deanxit were less. Deanxit was suitable for acute phase and long-term maintenance therapy in PSD.
3.Elevated plus maze as an animal model of state anxiety in Kunming mice:test-retest reliability
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2016;25(9):784-790
Objective To explore the test-retest reliability of elevated plus maze (EPM) which is taken as an animal model of state anxiety in Kunming mice. Methods The behavior of adult, male and female,Kunming mice in EPM was recorded twice with one-week inter-trial interval for lasting five minutes. The following parameters were evaluated:percentage of time on EPM open arms (Otime%),percentage of time on EPM closed arms (Ctime%),time on EPM open arms (Otime),time on EPM closed arms (Ctime),percentage of entries into EPM open arms (Oentries%),entries into EPM open arms (Oentries),entries into EPM closed arms (Centries),total entries into EPM open and closed arms (Entries).Subsequently, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and the kappa agreement index (κ) were calculated for these parameters. Results ICC for Otime% (♂ ICC=0.506,P<0.05;♀ ICC=0.456,P<0.05;♂ + ♀ ICC=0.492,P <0.01),Oentries (♂ ICC=0.673,P<0.01;♀ ICC=0.648,P<0.01;♂ + ♀ ICC=0.665,P<0.01),Centries (♂ ICC=0.704,P<0.01;♀ ICC=0.661,P<0.01;♂ + ♀ ICC=0.686,P<0.01),Entries (5 ICC=0.701,P<0.01;♀ ICC=0.661,P<0.01;5 + ♀ ICC=0.685,P<0.01) showed a fair test-retest reliability, respectively.Only κ for Entries (♂ κ=0.253,P<0.05;♀ κ=0.339,P<0.05;♂ + ♀ κ=0.298,P<0.01)displayed a significant but poor reliability between the test-retest trials. Conclusion The Otime% Entries parameters as an acceptable index for Kunming mice in EPM can be used for exploratory and locomotion activity.Sex and repeated measurement have different effects on the Otime% and Entries parameters, especially the more on the former. Therefore,Otime% and Entries can be considered when EPM as an animal model of state anxiety in Kunming mice;meanwhile, more attention should be paid to both the sex (male animals recommended to EPM,especially) and repeated measurement effects.
4.Observations on Hypoxic Pulmonary Pressor Response in Perfused Rat Lungs in Situ and Studies on Its Mechanism
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(02):-
Hypoxic pulmonary pressor response (HPPR) was observed witb a preparation of perfused lungs in situ in rats, and the effects of deoxy-2-glucose (2DG), verapamil, and dipyridamole on HPPR were studied.During bypoxia (inhalation of 3% oxygen for 10 minutes) , there was a 50% increase on average in pulmonary arterial pressure in the perfused lungs in situ in rats. 2DG inhibited the first and second but enhanced the seventh and eighth HPPR. Both verapamil and dipyridamole depressed HPPR.On the basis of the results, the author suggests that the mechanism of HPPR might originate from the lungs themselves. There might be a close relation between the glucose-energy metabolism and the occurrence of HPPR, the trans-membranous influx of calcium might play a certain role in the development of HPPR, and adenosine would probably participate in the regulation of HPPR.
5.Study on preparation process for Yinxingye Dropping Pills
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(4):353-354
Objective To establish the optimum preparation process for Yinxingye Dropping Pills. Methods The preparation conditions, such as different kinds of primary substance, cooling agent, the proportion between the extracts and primary substance, etc, were studied with L9 (34) orthogonal design. Results At the following conditions could the best was 30 d/min, dropping distance was 8cm, and cooling temperature was 10℃. Conclusion This preparation process was suitable for both laboratory test and industrial production for Yinxingye Dropping Pills.
6.Study on Electrochemical Behaviors and Determination of Xanthine and Uric Acid on Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode
Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2014;(7):991-996
The silver doped poly ( L-lysine ) modified glassy carbon electrode was fabricated by cyclic voltammetry, the surface of the electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviors and the simultaneous detection of xanthine and uric acid were studied by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The results indicated that this modified electrode exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of xanthine and uric acid. The stable oxidation peaks of xanthine and uric acid appeared with the peak potential of 0. 980V and 0. 600V respectively at the modified electrode in pH 3. 0 phosphate buffer solution. The oxidation peaks of xanthine and uric acid were separated at 380 mV. Under the optimum conditions, the linear ranges for the determination of xanthine and uric acid were 1 . 00 × 10-6-2 . 50 × 10-4 mol/L respectively by differential pulse voltammetry. The detection limits were 5. 0×10-7mol/L. The method has been applied to the simultaneous detection of xanthine and uric acid in healthy human urine with satisfactory results.
7.Correlation analysis between curvature ratio measured at cardiac MR and systolic pulmonary artery pressure
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2014;48(4):279-282
Objective To observe the value of detection of pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH) with curvature ratio measured at cardiac MR.Methods We performed a retrospective study of 48 patients with cardiac MR,systemic systolic blood pressure and right heart catheterization(RHC) data. The parameter curvature ratio (Rc) was measured at cardiac MR and transseptal/transmural pressure ratio (RP) was calculated.By using the regression analysis between Rc and RP,the SPAP was calculated.Bland-Altman analysis was used to compare the SPAP calculated with SPAP obtained by RHC.The accuracy of the SPAP calculated in detecting PAH was analyzed by using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves (SPAP higher than 40 mmHg as cutoff). The normality of parameter is tested by K-S test.Bivariate correlation Pearson test was used to test the consistency of parameters obtained by different measurers.Linear regression analysis was performed to find the relationship between Rc and RP.Results Parameter RP =0.28 ± 0.37 (-0.50-0.83) and RC =0.31 ± 0.57 (-0.78-0.97).Linear relationship was found between Rc and RP (r =0.94,P < 0.01) and regression equation:Rc =1.44 × RP-0.09.Bland-Altman analysis showed satisfactory limits of agreement with the SPAP calculated and obtained by RHC.ROC analysis of the diagnostic value in PAH revealed 94.4% (34/36) of sensitivity and 100.0% of specificity (12/12,area under ROC curve =0.942,P < 0.01).Conclusions Our study suggests that with curvature ratio measured at cardiac MR,the SPAP estimated have considerable sensitivity and specificity for detecting PAH.It may be a useful non-invasive assessment in patients that suspected of PAH.

Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2017;36(1):66-69
Arsenic exposure can cause health problems to our body but arsenic can also be used to treat some diseases through induction of cell apoptosis. These effects are due to arsenic toxicity, but the mechanism is still unclear.Recent studies have showed that cell apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress is associated with the mechanism. Therefore,in this paper, the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in arsenic toxicity has been reviewed and some problems in current studies are pointed out,so as to provide clues and basis for further scientific research.
9.Treatment progress of chemotherapy induced thrombocytopenia
Practical Oncology Journal 2016;30(2):184-188
Chemotherapy induced thrombocytopenia( CIT) is a major dose-limiting hematologic toxicity with cancer patients.Aside from bleeding risk, thrombocytopenia limits chemotherapy doses and frequencies. While platelet transfusion is remain the elementary method for CIT,administration of platelet growth factors, such as recombinant human interleukin-11(rhIL-11),recombinant human thrombopoietin(rhTPO)and thrombopoie-tin receptor agonist(TPO-RA),are convenient and effective platelet-support strategies for patients receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy. In addition, other cytokines and proximal splenic artery embolization( PSAE) are expected to be new clinical therapies. In this review,we summarize the existing data and approaches in the treat-ment progress of CIT.
