Objective:To explore effects of point massage combined with pressing ear acupoints with beans on enteral nutritional diarrhea in severe patients.Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 50 critically ill patients who were hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from March 2017 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects. According to the random numbering method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 25 cases in each group. Patients in both groups were given enteral nutrition support and routine nursing intervention. The control group was given treatment of pressing ear acupoints with beans while the observation group was given treatment of point massage combined with pressing ear acupoints with beans. The occurrence of diarrhea and clinical curative effects after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:After 24 hours of intervention, the Hart diarrhea score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The treatment time of diarrhea in the observation group was (64.76±17.89) h, and that in the control group was (102.38±20.45) h, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( t=6.923, P<0.05) . After intervention, the number of days of diarrhea, the daily number of diarrhea, the daily average amount of diarrhea and the frequency of bowel sounds in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . After intervention, the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Point massage combined with pressing ear acupoints with beans in treatment of severe patients can improve clinical symptoms and signs of patients and has a better effect on the treatment of diarrhea, which can help promote the absorption of enteral nutrition and shorten the treatment time.
