4.A Case of Sparganosis lnfesting on the Human Epididymis.
Korean Journal of Urology 1968;9(2):99-101
Sparganum is parasite infesting principally in the cats or dogs, but many human reported. In Korea, the reported cases of human sparganosis are over 20 cases. However the urogenital infestation of sparganum is relatively rare, and none of any report of infestation in the epididymis is available. We experienced a case of the sparganum infesting on the epididymis which vas confused with the epididymitis on palpation.

5.Migration of Metal Fixatives from the Acromioclavicular Joint into the Neck: Report of Two Cases
The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1986;21(3):499-501
Migration of the fixation device to a part of the body is well known complication of fracture treatment. However, few reports of this complication have appeared in the literature. The present report concerns two instances of the migration of a K-wire and a Steinmann pin from the acromioclavicular joint, respectively, into the neck. It appears that if wires and pins are used for fixation, the lateral ends should be bent to prevent medial migration, and as soon as the desired therapeutic results have been obtained, these must be subsequently removed.

6.Early Polyethylene Wear following TKA: A Report of Three Cases.

Journal of the Korean Knee Society 1999;11(1):122-127
Polyethylene wear is one of the major problems following total knee arthroplasty. Many factors affect the degree and the pattern of polyethylene wear. We experienced three cases of early catastrophic poly- ethylene wears. All cases showed flexion contracture with severe genu varum deformity and total knee arthroplasty was performed with Advantim total knee prostheses in all cases. Postoperatively, bony align- ment and ligament balancing were good in all cases. However, in 12 to 22 months later, lateral subluxa- tion and valgus instability were developed with early catastrophic polyethylene wear especially in the medial compartments. Flat surface geornetry of polyethylene might be responsible for the development of lateral subluxation and early catastrophic wears. From these experience, we concluded that the mediolat- eral as well as anteroposterior dishing is essential for the stability of the artificial joint and prevention of early rapid wear of polyethylene articular inserts following total knee arthroplasty.

Korean Journal of Urology 1966;7(1):41-45
A statistical survey was made on 729 inpatients during the period of 4 years and 9 months, 1961-1965, in the Department of Urology, The First Army Hospital, in reference to age distribution, monthly distribution on various diseases of the genitourinary tracts and operative procedures. The tables in the text represent the result of the observation and are summarized as follows: The majority of the patients (85%) was distributed between the ages 21 and 26. Of 729 in patients, there were 270 cases (37%) of genito-urinary tuberculosis, 84 cases (11.5%) of urinary calculus,69 cases of trauma and 60 cases of non-specific urinary tract infection. There were 379 operative procedures including 91 nephrectomies, and 108 epididiymectomies.

Korean Journal of Urology 1971;12(2):239-243
The Klinefelter's syndrome is characterized by azoospermia, gynecomastia, a variable degree of eunuchoidism elevated urinary gonadotropins, atrophic testis and hyalinization of the seminiferous tubules in which Leydig cells were preserved. Reviewing some world literatures, we have reported a case of Klinefelter's syndrome associated with right inguinal hernia in 22 year-old Korean male.

Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association 1998;37(2):203-214
It is widely accepted that patients with schizophrenia show disturbances in their cognitive function. Recently, due to the increase of the possibilities of therapeutic intervention for cognitive deficits, cognitive rehabilitation is being tried by clinicians in the management of schizophrenia. Our study has considered several questions that have been raised in relation to cognitive rehabilitation. 1) What is cognitive rehabilitation? ; 2) What are its strategies? ; 3) What strategy of cognitive rehabilitation is appropriate to several cognitive deficits? ; 4) What kind of cognitive rehabilitation methods are possible according to the information processing model for schizophrenia? ; 5) What is its clinical considerations? ; 6) On what theoretical basis does the critical view of cognitive rehabilitation have its roots? ; 7) Which direction should it follow? Despite its limitation, there are still great possibilities for the future of cognitive rehabilitation, and we feel that it should be tried for patients with schizophrenia in this country.

Korean Journal of Urology 1970;11(4):259-262
The spermatic granuloma is a granulomatous inflammation which is the tissue reaction due to extravasated sperm. Its exact causes and mechanism are not clearly evaluated. Its clinical interest is that it often confused with tuberculous epididymitis and other epididymal conditions. We experienced a case of spermatic granuloma that was clinically confused with tuberculous epididymitis in 23-year old Korean male.
