Objective To investigate the change of emotion and striatum dopamine transporter(DAT) expression in adult male rats experiencing maternal deprivation, and to explore whether DNA methylation is involved in the regulatory mechanism of DAT expression. Methods Newborn rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: a maternal separation group (n=16) and a control group (n=14). The maternal deprivation group were separated from their mother for 6 hours (09∶00-15∶00) per day from postnatal day 1 to 14, while the controls (n=14) without the deprivation. When the rats in the 2 groups were 12 week, their spontaneous anxiety levels and exploratory ability in novel environments were assessed by an elevated plus maze and an open field test. DAT mRNA expression in the striatum was detected by reverse transcription-PCR, and its DNA methylation level was measured by bisulfated DNA sequencing. Results Maternally-deprived rats showed lower ability of exploring in a new environment and lower levels of anxiety than the controls. The expression of DAT mRNA in the striatum of the maternal separation group (0.236±0.043) was significantly lower than that in the control group (0.480±0.107) (P<0.05). However the DNA methylation level in the promoter region of DAT was not significantly different between the 2 groups. Conclusion Maternal deprivation influenced the emotion and expression of dopamine transporter in adult rats and DNA methylation may not be involved.

The items framework for transcultural nursing health education in hypertension patients was preliminarily constructed by getting experts ’ conforming opinion .Results The items framework for transcultural nursing health education in hypertension patients preliminarily constructed included 10 level one entries , 34 level two entries and 101 level three entries, and the authority coefficient reached 0.910, and the judgment coefficient was 0.924, and the familiarity coefficient was 0.895.The effective response rate of questionnaires in the two rounds of expert consultation was more than 95%.Conclusions The items framework for health education in hypertension patients constructed under the guidance of transcultural nursing theory has good practicability and maneuverability , and provides the reference for the implementation of individualized health education .
3.Development of metabonomics of drug dependence
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2017;26(9):856-859
Drug dependence brings heavy burden to globe medicine and security, however, the mechanism is unclear. And because of the legal question, patients tend to hide their history of drug use, which make the diagnosis difficult.Metabonomics is an emerging system biological technology which can offer a new view about the diseases. This paper reviewed the metabonomics research progress of the main dependence drugs, and proved that metabonomics technology may discover biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment of drug dependence. The relationship between peripheral metabonomics and center nerve system may become an important research field.More information may come from the united apply of genomics, proteomics and metabonomics. Finally, there will be a breakthrough in identification of individuals with susceptibility to drug dependence, and supply a preventive or treatment plan.

Objective To establish a reference intervals(RIs)of serum squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC-Ag)in healthy population in Nanning region and provide clinical evidence to support diagnosis and prognosis of squamous cell carcinoma. Methods A total of 10 197 reference individuals who joined a routine physical examina-tion in the Health Management Center of Guangxi International Zhuang Medical Hospital from March 2019 to De-cember 2021 were collected. The level of serum SCC-Ag was detected by chemiluminescence microparticle immuno-assay.The Mann-Whitney U test was applied to compare the differences in serum SCC level between genders or ad-jacent age groups. The unilateral 95th percentile determined the upper limit of the RIs by the nonparametric method.Another 1 035 healthy subjects with the same conditions as the reference population were selected for refer-ence validation. Results The serum SCC-Ag level showed a skewed distribution(Z=0.08,P<0.05).The ser-um SCC-Ag level of males was considerably higher than that of females. There was significant difference in serum SCC-Ag level between males aged 18-30 and 31-40,51-60 and 61-90(P<0.05).There was significant difference in serum SCC-Ag level between females aged 18-30 and 31-40,31-40 and 41-50,51-60 and 61- 90(P<0.05).The reference intervals of serum SCC-Ag was as follows:0-1.64 ng/mL for males and females aged 18-30 years;0-1.57 ng/mL and 0-1.70 ng/mL for males aged 31-60 years and 61-90 years,respec-tively;0-1.50 ng/mL,0-1.52 ng/mL and 0-1.42 ng/mL for females aged 31-40 years,41-60 years and 61-90 years, respectively. Conclusions The RIs of serum SCC-Ag in healthy population in the Nanning region are successfully established according to different genders and ages.

Objective To monitor the susceptibility of clinical isolates to antimicrobial agents in tertiary hospitals in major regions of China in 2022.Methods Clinical isolates from 58 hospitals in China were tested for antimicrobial susceptibility using a unified protocol based on disc diffusion method or automated testing systems. Results were interpreted using the 2022 Clinical &Laboratory Standards Institute(CLSI)breakpoints. Results A total of 318 013 clinical isolates were collected from January 1,2022 to December 31,2022,of which 29.5%were gram-positive and 70.5%were gram-negative.The prevalence of methicillin-resistant strains in Staphylococcus aureus,Staphylococcus epidermidis and other coagulase-negative Staphylococcus species(excluding Staphylococcus pseudintermedius and Staphylococcus schleiferi)was 28.3%,76.7%and 77.9%,respectively.Overall,94.0%of MRSA strains were susceptible to trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and 90.8%of MRSE strains were susceptible to rifampicin. No vancomycin-resistant strains were found.Enterococcus faecalis showed significantly lower resistance rates to most antimicrobial agents tested than Enterococcus faecium.A few vancomycin-resistant strains were identified in both E.faecalis and E.faecium.The prevalence of penicillin-susceptible Streptococcus pneumoniae was 94.2%in the isolates from children and 95.7%in the isolates from adults. The resistance rate to carbapenems was lower than 13.1%in most Enterobacterales species except for Klebsiella,21.7%-23.1%of which were resistant to carbapenems. Most Enterobacterales isolates were highly susceptible to tigecycline, colistin and polymyxin B,with resistance rates ranging from 0.1%to 13.3%.The prevalence of meropenem-resistant strains decreased from 23.5%in 2019 to 18.0%in 2022 in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and decreased from 79.0%in 2019 to 72.5%in 2022 in Acinetobacter baumannii. Conclusions The resistance of clinical isolates to the commonly used antimicrobial agents is still increasing in tertiary hospitals. However, the prevalence of important carbapenem-resistant organisms such as carbapenem-resistant K.pneumoniae,P.aeruginosa,and A.baumannii showed a downward trend in recent years. This finding suggests that the strategy of combining antimicrobial resistance surveillance with multidisciplinary concerted action works well in curbing the spread of resistant bacteria.
