Objective To clarify the effect of myofunctional treatment on primary and mixed dentition malocclusion. Methods Twenty-seven children were selected,3 were in primary dentition among which 2 showed deep overbite.24 were in mixed dentition and presented crowding in anterior area among which 4 children combined with anterior crossbite,2 showed deep overbite and deep overjet. All the patients were treated with myofunctional trainer such as INFANT,T4K or I2N appliances according to their age and malocclusion type. The patients were instructed to wear the trainers for at least one hour a day keeping their lips together or overnight while sleeping.Muscle exercises were done when wearing the trainer during daytime. Results After 6-10 months,24 patients who were in good compliance had their teeth aligned, deep overjet and deep overbite corrected, and facial profile improved. Conclusions Myofunctional treatment is effective on primary and mixed dentition malocclusion. It is important to have patients' good compliance.
2.Effect of Electroacupuncture Combined with Stretta Radiofrequency Treatment on MTL and GAS in Patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2014;(4):216-220
Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) combined with Stretta radiofrequency treatment on contents of motilin (MTL) and gastrin (GAS) in gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients.
Methods: A total of 90 eligible GERD cases were randomly allocated into three groups, 30 in each group. Patients in the EA group were treated with EA, patients in the radiofrequency group were treated with Stretta radiofrequency, and patients in the observation group were treated with EA combined with Stretta radiofrequency. Assessment was made after a course of treatment.
Results: The recovery, improvement and failure cases and total effective rate in the EAgroup were 2, 18, 10 and 67.7% respectively, versus 13, 13, 4 and 86.7% in the radiofrequency group and 20, 9, 1 and 96.7% in the observation group. The therapeutic efficacy in the observation group was significantly better than that in the other two groups (P<0.01). After treatment, symptom scores of regurgitation, heartburn and substernal burning pain in all three groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05); the reduction in the observation group was more significant than that inthe other two groups (P<0.05),and the reduction in the radiofrequency group was more significant than that in the EA group (P<0.05). After treatment, the contents of MTL and GAS in all three groups were increased; and the increase in the observation group was more significant than that in the other two groups (P<0.05).
Conclusion: EA combined with Stretta radiofrequency treatment can significantly improve the clinical effect of GERD patients, improve regurgitation, heartburn and substernal burning pain and increase the contents of MTL and GAS.

Objective To construct a database for the genetic polymorphism of 19 STR loci in Han population from Hainan province. To investigate the application of 19 STR loci in the paternity testing. Methods The genotypes of 462 unrelated individuals in Hainan were detected with GoldeneyeTM 20A PCR Amplification Kit. 19-STR database was acquired, analyzed and evaluated in 283 paternity testing cases. Results No deviations of allele frequency from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium expectations were found for Chi-square test (P>0.05). Observed heterozygosity (Hobs) varied between 0.603 and 0.914, total discrimination power (TDP) of 19 STR loci was more than 0.999999999999999, cumulative probability of exclusion (CPE) for triplet cases was 0.999999994. In all 283 paternity testing cases, triplets and duos were 170 and 113 respectively; there were 36 (12.7%) excluded cases comparing to 247 confirmed cases (87.3%). 14 mutation events were observed, and all were one-step mutation. Conclusion 14 out of 19 loci showed highly polymorphic in Han population from Hainan, and 19 STR system has high cumulative probability of exclusion and can meet the needs of paternity test of the local region. But mutation should be paid special attention to.

Objective To systematically review the efficacy and tolerance of levofloxacin-based rescue regimens for H.pylori eradication failures. Methods A search of Medline,Embase,Cinahl, CBM-disc was performed.Randomized controlled trials comparing levofloxacin-based triple therapy with bismuth-based quadruple therapy were selected for meta-analysis.Assessment of study quality and ex- tracting data to calculate eradication rate and side effect rate. Results Seven randomized controlled stud- ies met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were recruited.Ten-day levofloxacin-based triple therapy was more effective(86.9% vs 61.8% P

This study is to establish an UPLC fingerprint of Resina Draconis from different manufacturers, which can provide a comprehensive evaluation for its quality control. The analysis was performed on a Phenomenex Kinetex 2.6 μ C18 100A column by agradientelution program with acetonitrile-water as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.7 mL x min(-1). The column temperature was 40 degrees C and the detection wavelengthwas 280 nm. The fingerprints of 18 batches of Draconis Resina were further evaluated by chemometrics methods including similarity analysis (SA), hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA) and principal component analysis (PCA). As a result, there were 15 common peaks, 13 of which had been identified by LC-Q-TOF MS, and the similarity degrees of 15 batches of the samples was more than 0.9, and the samples were divided into 4 clusters by their quality difference. The method is reproducible, simple and reliablethat it can be used for quality control and evaluation of Resina Draconis from different manufacturers.

Objective To investigate the cytotoxicity of γδ T cells to HIV-1 latency cells in patients with early HIV-1 infection. Methods Sixteen early HIV-1-infected patients were enrolled in this study.Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients were isolated and γδ T cells were expanded using zoledronate (5 μmol/L) and interleukin (IL)-2 (1 000 IU/mL) ex vivo.Lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) was used to detect the cytotoxic role of γδ T cells to HIV-1 latency cells(J-Lat Full Length Clonel0.6).The phenotype of γδ T cells before and after expansion and the intensity of GFP in HIV-1 latency cells were detected by flow cytometry. Results Zoledronate plus IL-2 stimulated rapid and large γδ T cells proliferation ex vivo (P<0.001).γδ T cells showed high cytotoxici ty to latency cells, and the intensity of GFP in latency cells was decreased significantly (P<0.05).Moreover,expanded γδ T cells displayed cytotoxic NK-like phenotype, the frequency of CD56+ Vδ2 T cells in patients with early HIV-1 infection was significantly higher than that of healthy controls. Conclusions γδ T cell has an ability to eradicate HIV-1 latency, and γδ T cell-based autologous or xenogenous adoptive immunotherapy will have promise prospects to cure HIV-1 infection.

OBJECTIVE To survey the patient with pulmonary infection induced by extended-spectrum ?-lactamases-producing bacteria and their Enterobacteriaceae clinical characteristics, drug-resistance and countermeasure. METHODS Isolation, cultivation, identification, drug-sensitivity tests and confirmation of ESBLs-producing bacteria were done for the bacteria of sputum specimens collected from our hospital from Feb 2001 to Sept 2004. Susceptibility testing was performed by disk diffusion(K-B)method. RESULTS Totally 541 strains of Enterobacteriaceae were cultivated altogether and ESBLs-producing bacteria were 135 strains. The ESBLs- producing strains were sensitive to imipenem, and the resistance rates to it were 0.00% . The resistance rates of ESBLs-producing strains to cefoperazone/sulbactam and piperacillin/tazobactam were 31.11% and 44.44%, respectively . The multi-drug-resistance (MDR) rate of ESBLs-producing strains was higher than that of strains no producing ESBLs (P
