Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2015;31(14):1060-1063
Objective To explore the application effect of home care on the basis of temperament combined with social competence in preschool children with bronchial asthma. Methods A total of 100 preschool children outpatients with bronchial asthma who came to our hospital from January 1 to February 28,2013 were selected with the method of convenience sampling and were randomly divided into observed group and control group with 50 cases in each group.Cases of the observed group were divided into ordinary, middle, and strengthen subgroups according to temperament and social competence. The control group and the ordinary subgroup received routine care interventions, and the other subgroups were given corresponding enhanced care measures. The attack rate of asthma, medical care, quality of life and lung function during one year follow-up were observed and compared between the two groups. Results Within the first six months of follow-up,patients in observed group got better control in acute attacks than the control group [(2.3±0.4) times vs.(3.4±0.3) times,x2=5.710,P<0.05)].The percentage of forced expiratory volume in the first second and Pediatric Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire scores in observed group were significantly higher than the control group one years later [(86.9±4.6)% vs.(85.5±3.8)% and (90.1±7.5) vs.(76.5±8.0),P<0.05].Conclusions The application of temperament type combined with social competence showed a good practical value in home care for asthma preschoolers.

Long-term use of systemic or topical glucocorticoid can cause posterior subcapsular opacities ( PSO ) , named glucocorticoid-induced cataract ( GIC ) . There are many hypotheses on the pathogenesis of GIC. However, no one has well explained the formation of PSO, which leads to no effective approaches in the prevention and/or treatment. A new opinion is that hormones might affect lens epithelial cells through GR - mediated vimentin changes, which eventually result in the formation of GIC. Therefore, the association between vimentin and lens epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation, maybe a new direction for further studies in the pathogenesis of GIC.

Long non-coding RNA ( LncRNA) is a class of transcript (>200 nucleotides) that do not encode proteins. It plays an important role in epigenetic regulation and gene expression at transcriptional or post transcriptional level. The abnormal expression of LncRNA may lead to various pathological processes. Diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) is a multifactorial disease. Recent studies have shown that many specific expressions of LncRNAs are closely related to the genesis of DR. In this review, we summarized the recent advances in the function of LncRNA, the regulatory mechanisms of LncRNA involved in the development of DR, and the related therapies.

Objective To establish a self-made chiral column for enantiomeric separation of salbutamol. Methods We used different concentrations of acid, alkali additives in the polar phase flow for enantiomers separation of salbutamol by using 3, 4-dichlorophenyl isocyanate vancomycin chiral column, and discussed the chiral recognition mechanism. Results The ratio of acid to alkali additive in the mobile phase was 0.01%:0.01% (V/V), the flow rate was 1ml/min, the column temperature was 25℃, and the best separation of enantiomers of salbutamol was obtained, the selective factor was 1.16, the separation degree reached 1.41. Conclusion Self-made 3, 4-two chlorophenyl isocyanate vancomycin chiral column is effective for salbutamol separation, and it can be as a reference for developing other similar chiral stationary phase.

OBJECTIVE: To develop a HPLC method for the determination of the contents of lidocaine and prilocaine in compound lidocaine cream as a quality control means.METHODS: Lidocaine and prilocaine in compound lidocaine cream were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography on C18 column with the detection wavelength at 254nm.The mobile phase was 0.5% ammonium dihydrogen phosphate(pH=7)-methanol(20∶ 80).RESULTS: The calibration curves of both lidocaine and prilocaine were linear within the concentration range of 130~250μ g/ml(r=0.9 996).The recovery rates of lidocaine and prilocaine were 99.05% and 99.27% respectively, RSDs were 0.67% and 1.15% , intra-day RSDs 0.81% and 1.45% , inter-day RSDs 0.55% and 0.63% respectively.CONCLUSION: The method was sensitive, stable and accurate. It can be used to determine and control the quality of compound lidocaine cream.

Objective To evaluate the teaching effects of micro-lecture based on the wechat platform in new nurses'training in operating rooms. Methods Fifteen new nurses in the operating room in July 2014 were selected as observation group, and thirteen new nurses in July 2013 were selected as control group. The multimedia-aided teaching mode was applied in the two groups, while micro-lecture based on the we-chat platform was implemented in the observation group. The theory and operating skills between two groups were evaluated by examination, and a random inquiry about satisfaction with new nurses was directed on surgeon and seniors nurses.Resulsts 100% of the nurses in obser-vation group accepted and preferred wechat in continuing education. The new nurses’performance in theory and skill test in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (t =2.901,P =0.011;t =2.225,P =0.029).In addition, the surgeon’s and seniors nurses’satisfaction with new nurses in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (Z =6.425,P =0.011).Conclusion Micro-lecture based on the wechat platform can motivate nurses’learning enthusiasm and positivity, and effectively improve their theoretical knowledge and professional skills.

A total of 118 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were divided into acarbose treatment group ( A group,n =58 ) and no acarbose treatment group ( B group,n =60),and 57 healthy subjects were used as control group (C group). The quantification of fecal bifidobacteria and enterococcus faecalis in these subjects was made by realtime PCR.The results showed that fecal bifidobacteria contents in A and B groups were lower and enterococcus faecalis contents were higher compared with C group. After four weeks of intervention, fecal bifidobacteria contents in A and B groups increased ( P<0.01 ),especially in A group, while enterococcus faecalis contents decreased ( P<0.05 )compared with the baseline.Univariate correlation analysis showed that bifidobacteria content was negatively associated with lipopolysaccharides(LPS),advanced glycation index, high sensitive C reactive protein ( hs-CRP),and body mass index ( BMI ) at baseline ( P<0.05 or P<0.01 ).The enterococcus faecalis content was positively associated with levels of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1,LPS,tumor necrosis factor-α,hs-CRP,plasminogen activator inhibitor-1,BMI,and HbA1c (P <0.01 ).After four weeks of intervention, the above associations disappeared.Stepwise multivariate regression showed that basal BMI,HbA1c,and age contributed to the increase in the number of enterococcus faecalis, and BMI negatively contributed to the decrease in number of bifidobacteria.
