On the basis of outpatients' medical records concerning primary liver cancer (PLC), data of 552 patients (with 2020 effective prescriptions) from the Outpatient Department of Changhai Hospital treated by Professor Ling Changquan were collected. The nature, flavor and meridian distribution of the herbs used in the prescriptions were summarized by frequency method, and the features of the herbs used according to syndrome differentiation were analyzed by logistic regression. The couple herbs used were analyzed by cluster analysis. All the data were analyzed in combination with the experience of the specialist. It showed that most of the frequently used herbs were herbs for invigorating the spleen to promote appetite, removing toxic materials to inhibit tumor growth, and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis. These herbs are mostly of plain or cool nature, and mainly of sweet, bitter, or acrid taste. It also showed that the most frequently used herbs for qi deficiency were Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, and Pseudostellariae; Caulis Spatholobi and Chinese jujube for blood asthenia; Fructus Corni and Ophiopogon japonicus for yin deficiency; Agastache rugosa, Semen Plantaginis and Poria for water-dampness; cape jasmine fruit and baikal skullcap root for heat excess; peach seed and Radix Paeoniae Rubra for blood stasis; Curcuma wenyujin, Akebia trifoliata and Bupleurum chinese for qi stagnation. A total of 19 pairs of couple herbs were summarized by the cluster analysis.

Objective To detect the expression levels of multiple serum chemokines including IFN-inducible T cell chemoattractant (ITAC),Fractalkine,macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-3α,IL-8,MIP-lα,MIP-1β in patients with lung cancer and explore their association with the clinical characteristics of lung cancer as well as the correlations among these chemokines.Methods Forty newly diagnosed patients with lung cancer and thirty healthy controls were enrolled for detection of the serum levels of 6 kinds of chemokines by Luminex technology.The correlations of clinical characteristics of lung cancer with these chemokines and the correlations among these chemokines were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 software.Results The serum levels [M (QR)] of IL-8,Fractalkine and MIP-3α in patients with lung cancer were 5.16 (4.74),128.45 (141.89),10.31 (8.88) respectively,and 2.01 (0.95),61.46 (74.81),8.08 (5.87) respectively in control group,with significant differences (Z =-4.783,P ＜0.001;Z =-4.046,P ＜0.001;Z =-3.105,P =0.002).The expression of MIP-1β in lung adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in squamous carcinoma [18.32 (12.27) vs.13.72 (7.31),Z =-2.212,P =0.027],and of ITAC in squamous carcinoma was significantly higher than that in small cell lung cancer [24.51 (22.48) vs.9.28 (4.85),Z =-2.460,P =0.014].The expressions of MIP-3α and Fractalkine were positively correlated in the two groups (r =0.619,P＜0.001;r=0.766,P＜0.001).Conclusion The expressions of IL-8,Fractalkine and MIP-3α increase significantly in lung cancer patients,and they are may play important roles in metastatic lung cancer.

Objective:This article aimed to discusse the feasibility and effects of humanistic service using Kano model in outpatients .Methods:Using a self-designed Kano model outpatient humanistic service demand question-naire investigated clinic patients by using the Kano model analysis method , implementing humanistic service in the outpatient on the base of analyzing the starting point , and compare the satisfaction situation before and after the im-plementation .Results:There are service items including necessary quality , expected quality , attractive quality in Kano model analysis , 9, 8, 2 items respectively.After the implementation of humanistic service , patient's satisfac-tion increased significantly .Conclusion:The Kano model can be used in the outpatient services .The outpatient hu-manistic service could get the approvals from most outpatient patients .Outpatient humanistic service can improve the satisfaction of patients , so as to reduce medical disputes , alleviate conflicts between the doctors and patients , and improve the hospital popularity .

OBJECTIVE Although it is generally believed that nicotine accounts for the beneficial effect of smoking on ulcerative colitis, the underlying mechanisms remain not well- understood. Our previous finding that nicotine inhibits inflammatory responses through inducing miRNA-124 prompted us to ask whether the miRNA is involved in the protective action of nicotine on UC. METHODS MiR-124 expression in colon tissues and cells was determined by q-PCR and in situ hybridization. The effect of miR-124 on protective role of nicotine in ulcerative colitis was evaluated in DSS-treated mice and IL-6-treated Caco-2 colon epithelial cells. Expression of p-STAT3/STAT3 was detected by immuno?histochemistry and Western blot analysis. RESULTS miR- 124 expression is upregulated in colon tissues from patients and DSS- induced colitis. Nicotine treatment further elevated miR- 124 level in colon tissues of the mice, in infiltrated lymphocytes and epithelial cells, and augmented miR- 124 expression in lymphocytes isolated from human ulcerative colon tissues. Administration of nicotine also reduced weight loss, improved DAI and decreased HE score in DSS-induced colitis. Moreover, knock?down of miR-124 in vivo significantly diminished the beneficial effect of nicotine, and in vitro on IL-6-treated Caco-2 colon epithelial cells. Further analysis indicated that nicotine inhibited STAT3 activation in vivo and in IL-6-treated Caco-2 colon epithelial cells and Jurkat human T lymphocytes, in which miR-124 knockdown led to increased activation of STAT3. CONCLUSION These data indicated that nicotine exerts its protective action in UC through inducing miR-124 and its effect on STAT3, suggesting that the miR-124/STAT3 system is a potential target for the therapeutic intervention of UC.

The stems and branches of Hypericum petiolulatum were extracted by alcohol and liquid-liquid extraction. Seven furofuran lignans were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of ethanol extract of H. petiolulatum by using silica gelchromatography, Sephadex LH-20 chromatography, medium-pressure liquid chromatography and preparative HPLC. Their structures were identified by the spectroscopic methods as pinoresinol (1), medioresinol (2), 8-acetoxypinoresinol (3), epipinoresinol (4), (+)-syringaresinol (5), (+)-1-hydroxysyringaresinol (6) and erythro-buddlenolE (7). All the isolates were firstly found in H. petiolulatum. In the bioassay, compound 7 showed remarkable antioxidative activity inhibiting Fe(+2)-cystine induced rat liver microsomal lipid peroxidation with inhibitory rate 38% at a concentration of 1 x 10(-6) mol · L(-1) (positive control Vit E with the inhibitory rate of 35% at the same concentration).

OBJECTIVE To survey the patient with pulmonary infection induced by extended-spectrum ?-lactamases-producing bacteria and their Enterobacteriaceae clinical characteristics, drug-resistance and countermeasure. METHODS Isolation, cultivation, identification, drug-sensitivity tests and confirmation of ESBLs-producing bacteria were done for the bacteria of sputum specimens collected from our hospital from Feb 2001 to Sept 2004. Susceptibility testing was performed by disk diffusion(K-B)method. RESULTS Totally 541 strains of Enterobacteriaceae were cultivated altogether and ESBLs-producing bacteria were 135 strains. The ESBLs- producing strains were sensitive to imipenem, and the resistance rates to it were 0.00% . The resistance rates of ESBLs-producing strains to cefoperazone/sulbactam and piperacillin/tazobactam were 31.11% and 44.44%, respectively . Objective To analyze the relationship between knowledge on cardiovascular disease prevention and ideal cardiovascular health behaviors and factors in community elderly. Methods From December, 2015 to May, 2016, totally 400 elderly in communities with-out overt cardiovascular disease were conveniently sampled. The level of knowledge on cardiovascular disease prevention was measured by self-designed cardiovascular disease prevention questionnaire. And each of the ideal cardiovascular health components was collected. Re-sults A total of 390 responses were valid. 13.85%community elderly were with high level of the knowledge. There were significant differ-ences in the distribution of cardiovascular health indexes among various leves of the knowledge groups (χ2>9.974, P<0.05), except choles-terol (P>0.05). The level of the knowledge was positively correlated with the scores of cardiovascular health behaviors and health factors (r>0.354, P<0.01). The cardiovascular health score, health behaviors score, health factors score and number of ideal cardiovascular health in-dexes were significantly different among various levels of the knowledge groups (F>8.961, P<0.001). Conclusion The level of knowledge on cardiovascular disease prevention was positively correlated with cardiovascular health behavior and health factors. The scores of cardio-vascular health score, health behaviors score and health factors increased with the improvement of knowledge on cardiovascular disease pre-vention.

Sarcopenia is common in chronic heart failure. The pathogenesis of chronic heart failure-related sarcopenia is complex and diverse. Resistance training, as the main intervention for chronic heart failure-related sarcopenia, is widely applicated as effective and safe therapy.

Objective To investigate the cytotoxicity of γδ T cells to HIV-1 latency cells in patients with early HIV-1 infection.Methods Sixteen early HIV-1-infected patients were enrolled in this study.Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients were isolated and γδ T cells were expanded using zoledronate (5 μmol/L) and interleukin (IL)-2 (1 000 IU/mL) ex vivo.Lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) was used to detect the cytotoxic role of γδ T cells to HIV-1 latency cells(J-Lat Full Length Clonel0.6).The phenotype of γδ T cells before and after expansion and the intensity of GFP in HIV-1 latency cells were detected by flow cytometry.Results Zoledronate plus IL-2 stimulated rapid and large γδ T cells proliferation ex vivo (P＜0.001).γδ T cells showed high cytotoxici ty to latency cells,and the intensity of GFP in latency cells was decreased significantly (P＜0.05).Moreover,expanded γδ T cells displayed cytotoxic NK-like phenotype,the frequency of CD56+ Vδ2 T cells in patients with early HIV-1 infection was significantly higher than that of healthy controls.Conclusions γδ T cell has an ability to eradicate HIV-1 latency,and γδ T cell-based autologous or xenogenous adoptive immunotherapy will have promise prospects to cure HIV-1 infection.
