Objective To perform literature search and review on the controversial relationship between therapies of hyperthyroidism due to Graves'disease(GD)and the course of Graves'ophthalmopathy(CA)).Methods We searched the database of MEDLINE(1966-2006.3),EMBASE(1984-2005),Cochrane Library(2006 No.1),CBMdisc(1978.1-2006.4)and CNKI(1994-2006).The methodological quality of the studies selected for review was assessed according to the quality assessment criteria suggested by the Cochrane systematic review guideline.Meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 4.2 software.Results Eight studies were included in the systematic review.Meta-analysis showed that there was statistically significant difference between 131I and other forms of therapy[surgery or antithyroid drugs(ATD)](test value:2.31,5.97,3.70,5.55;all P＜0.05)in aggravation of exophthalmos and symptom improvement in patients without receiving thyroxine during the early stage to prevent hypothyroidism.However,there was no statisti cally significant differenee in the above relationship between surgery and ATD therapy in those patients already receiving thyroxine supplement(test value:0.27,0.99;all P＞0.05).There were not yet any studies on the impact between early prevention of hypothyroidism after 131I therapy and GO.Conclusions Based on meta-analysis on literature data,if early measures are not performed to prevent hypothyroidism after 131I therapy,it may induce or aggravate GO more frequently than ATD or surgical treatment.Symptomatic relief of GO after 131I therapy is also less effective than the other 2 forms of therapy.Therefore.131I therapy should be delivered carefully in those patients with GO.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intense pulsed light and diode laser for axillary hair removal. Methods Clinical trials on 61 persons using intense pulsed light and diode laser to depilate axillary hairs were conducted. 36 persons were treated by IPL and 25 persons by diode laser.Treatments were carried out in three times at 8-week intervals, and a final assessment was made 3 months following the third theatment. Results Both IPL and diode laser reduced the hair count substantially! the IPL group effective rates were 80. 6 % and the diode laser group, 76. 0 %. They had no statistical significance was (P>0. 05)). Conclusions Intense pulsed light and diode laser are effiective and safe for hair removal.

Expression of endogenous ouabain in placenta and the concentrations of serum ET-1 and NO were examined in 30 patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy (HDCP) and 30 healthy pregnant women to investigate the effect of endogenous ouabain on HDCP. Compared with the healthy pregnant group, the expression of endogenous ouabain dramatically increased in the HDCP groups (P<0.01). There was a significantly positive correlation between the expression of endogenous ouabain with ET-1 (r=0.5567, P<0.01), while the correlation of endogenous ouabain and NO was significantly negative (r=-0.6895, P<0.01). As expected, the correlation between ET-1 and NO was negative (r=-0.7796, P<0.01). ET-1 concentrations of maternal and cord sera in HDCP groups were significantly higher in comparison with healthy pregnant group (P<0.01). On the contrast, NO concentrations were much lower in the maternal and cord sera of HDCP groups as compared with healthy pregnant group (P<0.01). Our data suggest that endogenous ouabain is directly involved in the nosogenesis of HDCP, with accompanying decreased NO and the elevated of ET-1.

Objective To observe the expression and the distribution of Netrin-1 in the spastic and normal segment of colon in patients with Hirschsprungs disease (HD) and investigate the relationship between Netrin-1 and development of HD.Methods Colon specimens of 36 cases with HD were selected for this study.Normal segment of colon served as the control group,while the spastic segments of colon as the lesion group.Immunohistochemical staining was applied to detecte the expression and the distribution of Netrin-1.Results Immunohistochemical staining showed that the expression of netrin-1 was positive in the intestinal muscular layers (longitudinal muscle,circular muscles),myenteric ganglias and mucosal layers in the control group.However,the expression of Netrin-1 was also positive in muscular layers and mucosal layer in the lesion group.There was no significant difference in the expression intensity of Netrin-1 between the two groups (P ＞0.05).Conclusion The expression of Netrin-1 in both the control group and the lesion group may indicate that netrin-1 have no significant correlation with genesis of HD.

Objective To establish a self-made chiral column for enantiomeric separation of salbutamol. Methods We used different concentrations of acid,alkali additives in the polar phase flow for enantiomers separation of salbutamol by using 3, 4-dichlorophenyl isocyanate vancomycin chiral column, and discussed the chiral recognition mechanism. Results The ratio of acid to alkali additive in the mobile phase was 0.01%:0.01% (V/V), the flow rate was 1ml/min, the column temperature was 25℃, and the best separation of enantiomers of salbutamol was obtained,the selective factor was 1.16, the separation degree reached 1.41. Conclusion Self-made 3, 4-two chlorophenyl isocyanate vancomycin chiral column is effective for salbutamol separation, and it can be as a reference for developing other similar chiral stationary phase.

Aim To evaluate the effect and safety of azithromycin injection produced in China and cefazolin in the treatment of respiratory tract infections.Methods 50 patients with respiratory tract infections were divided randomly into two groups. Patients in the test group recieved azithromycin in the dosage of 250 mg?d-1,qd for 5 d iv with double dosages at the first time and patients in the control group recieved cefazolin in the dosage of 2.0 g,bid,iv for 5～10 d. Results No statistical significant differences of overall clinical effect were observed between two groups .The fully recovery,effective and side reaction rates for the test group were 46.67%,90% and 3.3%,respectively,and for control group the data were 60%,95%,and 0%, respectively.Conclusion Azithromycin injection produced in China is effective and safe in the treatment of respiratory infections.

Vaccination has been proved to be the most effective strategy to prevent the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The mRNA vaccine based on nano drug delivery system (NDDS) - lipid nanoparticles (LNP) has been widely used because of its high effectiveness and safety. Although there have been reports of severe allergic reactions caused by mRNA-LNP vaccines, the mechanism and components of anaphylaxis have not been completely clarified yet. This review focuses on two mRNA-LNP vaccines, BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273. After summarizing the structural characteristics, potential allergens, possible allergic reaction mechanism, and pharmacokinetics of mRNA and LNP in vivo, this article then reviews the evaluation methods for patients with allergic history, as well as the regulations of different countries and regions on people who should not be vaccinated, in order to promote more safe injection of vaccines. LNP has become a recognized highly customizable nucleic acid delivery vector, which not only shows its value in mRNA vaccines, but also has great potential in treating rare diseases, cancers and other broad fields in the future. At the moment when mRNA-LNP vaccines open a new era of nano medicine, it is expected to provide some inspiration for safety research in the process of research, development and evaluation of more nano delivery drugs, and promote more nano drugs successfully to market.
