Objective:To learn and master the application of microwave technology in medical electron linear accelerator tube. Methods: Introduced the structure and principle of medical electron linear accelerator, traveling wave accelerating tube and standing wave accelerating tube;compared the structure, stable system and transport system of traveling wave accelerating tube standing wave accelerating tube. Results:standing wave accelerating cube have higher efficiency, shorter accelerating cube and electron gun, but have higher demand for pulse modulator, automatic frequency stabilization, the deflection system and microwave transmission systems. Traveling wave accelerating cube have lower efficiency, but have better energy spectrum and easy to adjust. Conclusion:Both traveling wave accelerating cube and standing wave accelerating cube were used in medical electron linear accelerator nowadays, it's easy to master medical electron accelerator after knowing the application of microwave in medical electron linear accelerator.

Objective To observe the effects of exogenous basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on radiation-induced apoptosis of C17.2 neural stem cells(NSCs) and explore the relationship between bFGF and Hes1,RBP-JK protein.Methods The cell viability was assessed using the MTT assay.After the cells attach to the flasks they were irradiated by the linear accelerator.And 5 min later,different concentrations of bFGF in accordance with the experimental design and cultured cells 48 h.Extracted total protein of each group and Western blot analysis showed the changes of the Hes1,RBP-JK protein.Results Compared with the control group,irradiation group cell growth was inhibited,the OD of 0 ng/ml bFGF group was 0.61±0.81,the OD of 80 ng/ml bFGF group was 1.21±1.01 and the control group was 1.51± 1.13.Compared with the control group,all groups showed statistically significant difference (P＜ 0.05).Western blot analysis showed that with the increasing concentrations of bFGF,RBP-JK expression gradually decreased,but Hes1 expression gradually increased.Conclusion Exogenous basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) can inhibit apoptosis of C17.2 NSCs.bFGF can regulate Notch signaling pathway downstream proteins Hes1,RBP-JK expression and inhibit neural stem cell apoptosis which were irradiated.

Objective To analyze the clinical character of uveitis in second hospital ot Jilin university.Methods Retrospectively analyze the clinical data of uveitis patients referred to from Second Hospital of Jilin University from September 2009 to September 2014.According to anatomical location,the manifestation of these uveitis patients were divided into anterior uveitis,panuveitis,intermediate uveitis and posterior uveitis.To discuss the possible causes of these patients according to the general information and relevant clinical laboratory examinations results.Results There were 1215 cases in this study,which included 587 male,accounting for 48.31％;and 628 female,accounting for 51.69％.The ratio of male-tofemale was 0.93∶1.The range of the age of these patients was from 4 to 91 years old.The mean age of these patients at the onset of these disease was (41.43±14.20) years.Of the 1215 cases,40 male and 43 female were younger than 20 years.The ratio of male-to-female was 0.93∶ 1;412 male and 396 female were between 21 and 50 years old.The ratio of male-to-female was 1.04∶ 1;135 male 189 female were older than 50 years.The ratio of male-to-female was 0.71∶1.There were 572 cases of anterior uveitis,accounting for 47.08％;527 cases of panuveitis,accounting for 43.37％;52 cases of intermediate uveitis,accounting for 4.28％;64 cases of posterior uveitis,accounting for 5.27％.703 cases had etiological diagnosis according to the clinical character and the auxiliary results,accounting for 57.68％.Vogt-koyanagi Haradal (VKH) syndrome,ankylosing spondylitis associated with uveitis and Behcet' s disease were the common entity,accounting for 30.44％,19.77％ and 14.22％ respectively.Conclusions The mean age of these patients in this study was older,compared to other reports.Female patients were more than male,especially in these patients older than 50 years.VKH syndrome,ankylosing spondylitis associated with uveitis and Behcet's disease were the common entities.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops in combination with Recombinant Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor Eye Drops for dry eye after undergoing eximer laser in-situ keratomileusis(LASIK).METHODS: 62 cases(100 eyes) of patients with dry eye after undergoing LASIK were randomly divided into two groups: 32 cases(53 eyes) in the treatment group were treated with Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops in combination with Recombinant Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor Eye Drops,and 30 cases(47 eyes) in the control group with Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops alone(4 times/day,1～2 drops/time) for 2 months.The drug efficacy was observed for 1～3 months since 1 week after the initiation of medication.RESULTS: The total effective rate in the treatment group vs.the control group was 98.11% vs.89.36%(P

T he serum w as sam pled at 6, 12, 24, 36 and 48 hours after death. T he IgE level of serum w as detected w ith ELISA . The control group w as also established. BACKGROUND:It has been reported that treatment with granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) increases the abundance of circulating CD34+ cells in rats. Data from the study, more important, suggested that mobilized by G-CSF may enhance rapid reendothelization and reduce neointimal formation after vascular injury.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate whether BM-derived CD34+ cells could enhance rapid reendothelization and reduce neointimal formation after balloon-injured carotid artery in an intact rat model.DESIGN: Randomized control animal study.SETTING: Nanjing First Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University.MATERIALS: The experiment was carried out in Nanjing First Hospital from December 2005 to April 2006. A total of 40 male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 200-250 g and of SPF grade, were purchased from National Rodent Laboratory Animal Resources, Shanghai Branch. The recombinant human G-CSF was purchased from Qilu Pharmaceutical. The 2F Fogarty arterial embolectomy catheters were purchased from Edwards Lifesciences. Anti-human CD34 and anti-human CD45 were purchased from Multi Sciences.METHODS: SD rats were divided randomly into treated group (n =20) and control group (n =20). Subcutaneous injection of recombinant human G-CSF (100 μg/kg/day) once daily for 8 days for treated group. Control group as treated with subcutaneous injection of saline. Five days after initiation of G-CSF treatment or saline, the rats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection with ketamine. The left common carotid artery was exposed through a midline incision of the ventral side of the neck. A 2F Fogarty arterial embolectomy catheter was inserted through the external carotid artery,inflated with 200 μL air, and passed 3 times along the length of the segment, which was defined proximally by the carotid bifurcation and distally by the edge of the omohyoid muscle. After removal of the catheter, the proximal ligature of the external carotid artery was tied off. ① An average of 1 mL venous blood per rat was collected for enumeration of the white blood wells (WBCs) and CD34+ cells before and 5 days after initiating G-CSF or saline treatment. ② Ten rats in each group were killed with overdose ketamine at 14 and 28 days after balloon injury and left common carotid arteries were harvested. The luminal surface of carotid arteries (n =5, each group) was exposed to calculate the reendothelialized area, which was manually traced with software (Image ProPlus). Reendothelialized area = non-stained with Evans blue area/the total area of balloon-injuried. The cross sections of carotid arteries (n =5, each group) were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (HE) and calculated intima-to-media area ratio (I/M) with software (Image ProPlus) to assess the extent of neointimal thickening. ③ To evaluate the extent of reendothelialization of arteries injury, sections were stained with CD31 and vWF by immunohistochemistry analysis.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① The number of WBCs and CD34+ cells; ② the extent of reendothelialization of arteries injury; ③ the extent of neointimal hyperplasia (I/M); ④ CD31 + and vWF+ endothelial cells.RESULTS: A total of 40 rats were involved in the final analysis. ① The number of WBCs and CD34+ cells: After 5 days of treatment, the number of WBCs in the treated rats increased more than 2.7-fold compared with control group [(27.60±2.45) ×109 L-1, (10.11±1.81) ×109 L-1, P ＜ 0.01], CD34+ cells increased more than 12.2-fold compared with control group (38.31×107 L-1, 3.14×107 L-1, P ＜ 0.01). ② The extent of reendothelialization: At 14 and 28 days after balloon injury,carotid artery of reendothelialization in the treated group were (68.3±8.3)％ and (97.6±4.1)％, superior than the control group (33.8±6.3)％ and (76.1±5.2)％ (P ＜ 0.01). ③ The extent of neointimal hyperplasia: At 14 and 28 days after balloon injury, the neointima-media (I/M) ratios in the treated rats were 0.39±0.11 and 0.45±0.09, less than the control group 0.87±0.15,1.26±0.16 (P ＜ 0.01). A highly significant inhibition of neointimal hyperplasia was observed in the treated group. ④ CD31+ and vWF+ endothelial cells: At 28 days after injury, sections from G-CSF treated group showed almost complete and continuous monolayer of CD31 and vWF positive cells.In contrast, a patchy and interrupted CD31 and vWF positive cells were found lining the lumen of control group.CONCLUSION:Treatment with G-CSF significantly increases the number of CD34+ cells and accelerates the rate of reendothelialization of injured vessels, leading to marked inhibition of neointimal formation after vascular injury in rats.

Objective To investigate the impact of early enteral nutrition on the prognosis of severe head injury patients.Methods According to the different nutritional therapy,160 cases of severe craniocerebral injury patients were randomly divided into two groups using random digit.Two groups of patients were all given similarly conventional methods,the observation group were given early enteral nutrition therapy,the control group were given routine nutrition.CD3+,CD4+,IgE,IgG immune factors were observed after treatment for 10d.Results 10d later,the serum IgG,IgM,IgA in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the conventional nutrition group(t =2.18,3.42,11.23,all P ＜ 0.05),IgE was significantly lower than that in the conventional nutrition group (t =4.76,P ＜ 0.05) ;The serum T-lymphocyte subsets CD3+,CD4+ level in the observation group were higher than those in the conventional nutrition group(t =21.41,5.38,all P ＜ 0.05),the incidence of complications of the observation group was 23.75%,which was significantly lower than 55.00% in the conventional nutrition group(x2 =4.73,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Early enteral nutrition therapy can significantly improve the immunity of severe head injury patients,reduce complications,thereby improve the prognosis and the patient's quality of life.

Objective To study the clinical discrepancy between patients with post infectious irritable bowel syndrome(PI-IBS) and non post infectious irritable bowel syndrome(NPI-IBS),and assess the value of serum intestinal fatty acid binding protein (I-FABP) for differential diagnosis.Methods A total of 117 patients with PI-IBS,201 patients with NPI-IBS and 31 healthy controls were prospectively recruited in General Liberation Army Hospital from 2010 to 2013.Plasma samples and clinical data were collected.Serum I-FABP level was measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results The median age of patients with PI-IBS was 36 years.The median time to diagnosis in PI-IBS group was significantly longer than that in NPI-IBS group [(19.7 ± 10.3) months vs (11.4 ± 5.3) months,P ＜ 0.05].Similarly,the proportion of anxiety [58.1％ (68/117) vs 28.9％ (58/201),P ＜ 0.05] and the value of I-FABP[(42.6 ± 14.8) μg/L vs (17.3 ± 11.5) μg/L,P ＜ 0.05] in PI-IBS group were significant higher than NPI-IBS patients.The level of I-FABP of healthy controls [(10.6 ± 8.2) μg/L] was also significantly lower than that of PI-IBS patients (P ＜ 0.05),yet no difference from that of NPI-IBS group.The I-FABP value of subgroup PI-IBS patients with diarrhoea (IBS-D) was significant higher than that of NPI-IBS group [(54.8 ± 9.3) μg/L vs (12.3 ± 6.2) μg/L,P ＜ 0.05].However,other parameters including gender,age,GSRS score,and I-FABP value of subgroup constipation (IBS-C) and mix (IBS-M),were not different between PI-IBS group and NPI-IBS group (all P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion PI-IBS is an occult intestinal inflammation disease with mucosa injury.I-FABP might be a potential testing marker for the diagnosis of PI-IBS.
