Objective:To investigate the rates of depression and anxiety in female students of a children's normal school Method:919 female students of a children's normal school were collected by stratified cluster sampling, they completed BDI (Beck Depression Inventory), SAS (Zung's self-rating anxiety scale), EPQ, FES (family environment scale) and a self-made inventory on risk behaviors of adolescents Result:The rate of depression was 48 75%, that of anxiety was 16 32% Students of different grades had different rates of depression, but not different rates of anxiety Students with depression had higher N score and P score, and lower E score and less Lying in EPQ than normal control In family environment, the depressed students had poorer cohesion, expressiveness, independence, achievement, intellectual and organization than normal Logistic regression analysis showed depression related to where the students come from (rural or urban), intimacy, dieting, academic achievement and education level of their mother Anxiety related to expressiveness, dieting and drinking within one month Conclusion:Depression and anxiety are so common in female students of children's normal school, which need more attention from mental health professionals

OBJECTIVE:To study the advantage of microwave technology in the preparation of plastic beads. METHODS:Three kinds of representative processing methods were applied to prepare Equus asinus,Colla Cornus Cervi and Colla Carapax et Plastri Testudinis. The processing methods and the quality of plastic beads were compared. RESULTS:Study results showed mic-rowave technology was superior to other processing methods in the preparation of plastic beads and quality. CONCLUSION:The microwave technology has its specific advantages in the preparation of plastic beads.

AIM To investigate the structural and functional remodeling of thoracic aortae in sinoaortic- denervated (SAD) rats. METHODS SD rats underwent either SAD or sham-operation at the age of 10 weeks. Sixteen weeks after operation, the contraction and relaxation of the thoracic aortae were measured in isolated preparations; The morphological changes of arteries were examined by using histopathological method and computer image analysis. RESULTS The NE-induced contraction was increased and Ach-induced relaxation of aortic rings was depressed in SAD rats; The structural remodeling of thoracic aortae was characterized by medial VSMC hypertrophy and matrix accumulations. CONCLUSION Vascular functional and structural remodeling can be found in sinoaortic-denervated rats.

Objective To explore three under nasal endoscope surgery treatment the clinical curative effect of maxillary sinus cyst. Methods 95 cases of maxillary sinus cyst patients were chosen, the maxillary sinus were used respectively to open to expand, the nasal passages of maxillary sinus fenestration and maxillary sinus anterior wall fen-estration three types of surgical treatment, postoperative follow -up of 1 year, the clinical curative effect of three kinds of operation method were analyzed. Results The maxillary sinus mouth open expansion of 39 cases during operation,37 cases were cured,2 cases of recurrence; The nasal passages under the maxillary sinus fenestration 27 cases, 26 cases cured,1 case of recurrence; The maxillary sinus anterior wall fenestration 29 cases,29 cases healed;Three kinds of operation cure rate difference had no statistical significance(P >0.05).Conclusion The treatment of max-illary sinus cyst operation should be selected according to the location and size of cysts and whether the various associ-ated withnasal sinuses diseases and other factors determine the.Maxillary sinus cyst neararound the maxillary sinus, sinus cavity lateral wall or with sinus disease can use theostium of maxillary sinus extending open surgery path;near the sinus cavity innerwall and the bottom wall can use windowing of the inferior nasal meatus approach;near the front wall of sinus cavity and large cysts or recurrence can be choice ofmaxillary sinus by fenestration operation path;the purpose is to remove the cystoccurs completely, reduce tissue injury and complications.

Objective To develop a convenient, rapid and specific method using real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR) for detection of facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy(FSHD). Methods Genomic DNA was extracted and digested by restricted endonuclease EcoR Ⅰ , followed by agarose electrophoresis. The DNA (< 38 kb) was retrieved from agarose electrophoretic gels. The primers and probe were designed in D4ZA gene in chromosome 4. One hundred and fifteen subjects were examined by FQ-PCR using the retrieved DNA (<38 kb) as a template and the result was analyzed by fluorescent curve comparing with positive control. Results The results by FQ-PCR showed that 13 cases were positive in 16 FSHD cases whose EcoR Ⅰ fragment sizes were known, 75 cases were negative in 78 cases of normal controls, 15 cases were positive in 16 FSHD cases diagnosed clinically whose EcoR Ⅰ fragment sizes were unknown, and 3 cases were positive in 5 cases of relatives of FSHD patients. Consistency was checked using Kappa index between the 2 gene diagnostic tests for FSHD (FQ-PCR test and the traditional Southern blotting test), and between the 2 diagnostic criterions (gene diagnosis by FQ-PCR and clinical diagnosis). The results were statistically significant (κ = 0. 765, P = 0. 002 ; κ = 0. 844, P = 0. 000). Conclusions A new genetic diagnostic method of FSHD by FQ-PCR was developed, which was more simplified and reliable compared to the time-consuming, radioactive Southern blotting. It could also detect the D4Z4 arrays in cases having deletion of p13E-11 as well as the interchromosomal exchange between 4q35 and 10q26. The new method of FQ-PCR for FSHD may be extended to utilize clinically in future.

To look for a more stable and convenient way of constructing short hairpin RNA expression vectors targeting the latent membrane protein-1(LMP-1) encoded by Epstein-Barr virus(pshLMP1), and to study the inhibition function of pshLMP1 expression vectors in HNE1 cells, we designed the pshLMP1 expression cassette and pshLMP1 expression vectors by both the annealing method and PCR method and then co-transfected with pEGFP-N1-1158 into HNE1 cells to observe the mRNA and protein levels of LMP-1 genes by green fluorescence analysis, RT-PCR and western blot. pshLMP1 expression vectors were successfully obtained by both methods but better cloning efficiency was achieved and fewer deletions and mutations of nucleotides were achieved with the PCR method. Furthermore, the mRNA and protein levels of LMP-1 genes were down-regulated by pshLMP1 expression vectors. According to our research, we found that the PCR method provides a more efficient way to construct pshLMP1 expression vectors which have the ability to inhibit the function of LMP-1 genes expressed in HNE1 cells, and also provides a novel application of RNA interference technology against-EBV.
