Objective To explore the short to long term surgical outcomes and treatment experiences of esophageal atresia(EA).Methods The clinical data of EA inpatients in our hospital from 2006 to 2009 were reviewed retrospectively. The birth weight, main associated anomalies, details of management, complications and outcomes were discussed.Main risk factors were evaluated with major prognostic classification systems. Results Totally 48 consecutive infants with EA were identified from 2006 to 2009,male 33(69%),female 15(31%).Mean birth weight was 2 668 g(range 1 700 g to 3 800 g).All received primary operation.Complications included pneumonia, anastomotic leakage(16%),tracheoesophageal fistula, incision sepsis(11%),delayed tracheoesophageal fistula(7%),stricture(10%),and gastroesophageal reflux(GER)(67%).Mortality was 12.5%,mainly due to severe pneumonia and complex cardiac anomalies. Conclusion Most patients with esophageal atresia could be cured after primary operation with excellent outcomes. The main factors for mortality were complex cardiac anomalies, aspiration and pneumonia. The main mid-term complications were GER and stricture.

Through pot experiments, the disease index and control efficiency of TS67 cell, the fermentation liquid of TS67 and the supernatant of TS67 separately act on Fusarium oxysporum and Bipolaris maydis was detected. Experiment results analysis with SPSS statistical analysis software indicated all treatments of TS67 could inhibit both of soybean root rot disease and corn southern leaf blight (P

Microbiology 2008;0(09):-
The antifungal mechanism of the TS67(Penicillum sp.) producing bioactive metabolites was investigated in this paper. The test indicated that mycelia growth, spores forming and spores germination of Bipolaris maydis and Fusarium oxysporum can be inhibitied by metabolites, after 50% fermentation broth acting 120 hours, the inhibition rate of hyphal growth can reach about 77.78%, 70.30%, the inhibition rate of spores forming also arrived at 58.8%, 73.5%; under 50% fermentation broth acting 12 hours, the inhibition rate of spores germination were up to 78.3%, 62.0%, the mycelia under activity metabolites conditoins also showed surface nodulation and growing point expanding irregularly, protoplasmic condesing, etc. Based on all these results, we may draw a conclusion that activity metabolites maybe target at fungal cell wall.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(6):1342-1345
The present paper is to evaluate the scientific research level and development trends of biomedical engineering in China using metrology analysis on Chinese biomedical engineering scientific literatures. Pubmed is used to search the biomedical engineering publications in recent 5 years which are indexed by Science Citation Index, and the number and cited times of these publications and the impact factor of the journals are analyzed. The results show that comparing with the world, although the number of the publication in China has increased in recent 5 years, there is still much room for improvement. Among Chinese mainland, Hongkong and Taiwan, Chinese mainland maintains the obvious advantage in this subject, but Hongkong has the highest average cited number. Shanghai and Beijing have better research ability than other areas in Chinese mainland.

Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2017;26(4):430-433
Objective To evaluate the correlation between serum homocysteine (Hcy) level, serum uric acid level and coronary lesion severity in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).Methods A total of 622 patients receiving coronary angiography from January 2015 to December 2015 were retrospectively studied. They were divided into two groups according to the findings on coronary angiography. Those with ≥ 50% stenosis were defined as coronary artery disease.According to SYNTAX score,CAD patients were divided into three groups:low risk group (1-22),moderate risk group (23-32) and high risk group (> 33).Fasting serum Hcy levels, fasting serum uric acid levels, fasting blood lipids including total cholesterol (TC),triglycerides (TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were determined. Then, patients were divided into two groups according to the serum Hcy level for observing the relationship between the serum Hcy and the SYNTAX score. Results TC,LDL-C were significant higher in SYNTAX score high-risk group and moderate risk group compared with normal group. There were no statistically significant differences in TC and LDL-C between the normal group and the low-risk group (P > 0.05).Compared with normal coronary group,Hcy in high risk group and moderate risk group was significant higher. There were no statistically significant differences in age,sex,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C between normal Hcy group and high Hcy group (P > 0.05).The SYNTAX score was significantly higher in high Hcy group than that in normal group (P < 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis suggested that serum Hcy was associated with coronary lesion severity.Compared with normal coronary group in the same gender, uric acid level in high risk group and moderate risk group was significant higher (P < 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that serum uric acid was associated with coronary lesion severity.(P < 0.05) Conclusions Serum Hcy and high uric acid level are the risk factors of coronary lesion severity. With the increased Hcy level and uric acid level, the increase in the severity degree of coronary artery lesions represents a greater cardiovascular risk.

Objective To investigate the effects of Triptolide on apoptosis of cultured rat mesangial cells treated by TGF-β1 and the role of Smac in this process. Methods The mesangial cells were pre-treated with different concentrations of Triptolide for 24 hours, then stimulated with TGF-β1 for 24 hours. Apoptotic cells were detected by TUNEL assay. Smac transcription level was determined by Real time-PCR analyses. Smac expression level was assessed using Western blot anal-yses. Localization of Smac was shown by confocal fluorescence microscopy. Results Compared with control group, TGF-β1 inhibited apoptosis and Smac transcription and expression in rat mesangial cells. By contrast, Triptolide promoted mesangial cells apoptosis. In Triptolide groups, Smac mRNA and protein levels were up-regulated. Additionally, in normal and TGF-β1 groups Smac protein was mainly localized in mitochondriawhile in Triptolide groupit was mainly localized in cytoplasm and nucleus with increased fluorescence intensity. Conclusion Triptolide could promote the effect that TGF-β1 inhibited apop-tosis of mesangial cells, through both up-regulation the expression of Smac and stimulating it translocation from mitochon-dria to cytoplasm and nucleus.
