2.Role of K_(ATP) on the reduction of blood pressure variability caused by adenosine in sinoaortic denervated rats
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(10):-
Objective: To determine the effect of K ATP on the reduction of blood pressure variability (BPV) caused by adenosine in conscious, freely moving sinoaortic denervated (SAD) rats. Methods: Using computerized analytic system of blood pressure (BP), five groups treated with adenosine, adenosine A 1 receptor agonist N 6 cyclopentyladenosine (CPA), A 2 receptor agonist 5′ N cyclopropyl carboxamido adenosine (CPCA), ATP sensitive K + channel (K ATP ) blocker glibenclamide, and CPCA with the K ATP blocked by glibenclamide in advance were used. BP, heart period (HP) and BPV were analyzed. Results: Both adenosine and CPCA significantly decreased BPV in SAD rats, but CPA had no influence on it. Glibenclamide markedly reduced BPV in SAD rats as well, furthermore, it might antagonize the effect of CPCA on BPV by blocking K ATP . Conclusion: K ATP plays an important role in the development of high BPV in SAD rats. [

4.Amplification of Full-length mRNA 5′Ends Based on Template-switching Effects
China Biotechnology 2006;0(12):-
"CapFinder" technology, which can be used to clone the full length of 5′ UTR sequence of mRNA,was described. This technology used the terminal transferase activity of certain MMLV RT variants that added 3-5 residues(predominantly dC) to the 3′end of the first-strand cDNA exhibited when MMLV RT reached the 5′cap structure of mRNA.In the reverse reaction system containing GGG oligo, the terminal transferase activity was harnessed by the GGG oligo whose terminal stretch of dG residues can anneal to the dC-rich cDNA tail and serve as an extended template for RT.After RT switch templates from the mRNA template to the GGG oligo,a complete cDNA copy of the original RNA was synthesized with the additional GGG oligo sequences at the end.5′UTR of mRNA can be amplified with GGG oligo as forward primer and a gene-specific reverse primer.5′UTR of Bt toxin receptor E-Cadherin gene in midgut of cotton bollworm was cloned.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(04):-
Objective To assess the value of implanting remedial or prophylactic cardioverter defibrillator in patients with Brugada syndrome for protecting from malignant ventricular arrhythmias and to estimate the initial outcomes in one-month follow-up. Methods Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) were implanted in 21 consecutive patients (9 symptomatic and 12 asymptomatic) with Brugada syndrome using standard procedure under general anesthesia. Patients presented the typical ECG changes of Brugada syndrome with or without sodium channel blockers but without structural heart disease in all the cases. Electrophysiological examinations were performed in all patients. Eight asymptomatic patients had spontaneous or induced malignant ventricular arrhythmias and 4 asymptomatic patients had single positive family history. Results Sixteen single chamber ICDs (VVI) and 5 double chamber ICDs (DDD or DDDR) were implanted. The DDD- or DDDR-ICDs were applied for patients with sinus node dysfunction and/or atrioventricular conduction disturbances. Battery/lead status measurements of ICDs were good and met with standards of implantation during the procedure. No complications occurred after ICD implantation and also no changes of various electrophysiological parameters during re-hospitalization in one-month follow-up. There were no events' record of anti-tachycardia pacing or cardiovertion or defibrillation for ventricular arrhythmias in the memory of treatment by ICDs. Conclusions ICDs were implanted successfully with safety in patients with Brugada syndrome showing good function for the initial outcomes in one-month follow-up.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
In order to decrease the mortality of pre-hospital sudden death events(SDEs),their features especially those of cardiac sudden death were analyzed. 1030 pre-hospital emergent cases from 1973~1999 were analysed systematically. The total SDEs occurred in 106 cases, among the 68 cases of cardiovascular diseases, 89.7% had coronary heart diseases(CHD), AMI or OMI with re-infarction. There were two peak age stages of SDEs: the first was 46-55 years old stage(non-retaired age stage,22.6%), and the second stage was 66-75 years old(27.3%). The pre-hospital SDEs are the most emergent cases. Great attention must be paid to those with the history of cardiovascular diseases, especially those with the history of coronary cardiac events
