8.Sperm antibodies in vasectomized Vietnamese
Journal of Medical Research 2000;12(2):3-8
385 Kinh and Muong vasectomized men and 40 men (control) were subjective of the study. All are healthy, ages of 30-60, all had at least a child. The blood samples were taken at 6 weeks, 3-6 months, 7-12 months and 6 years after operation. The Franklin - Duker agglutination test and passive immunofluorescence test for detecting sperm antibodies were used. The results were as follows: in 40 control, there was only one, who had agglutinating sperm antibodies, i.e 2.5%; 39.5% incidence of sperm antibodies were found in vasectomized men one year after operation. In the time of 6 weeks, that was 9%, less three months was 12.1%, 3 to 6 months was 40.3%, 7 to 12 months was 48.8%; 25.3% vasectomized men exhibited sperm antibodies 1 to 6 years after operation; the sperm antibodies incidence of Kinh men was lower than Muong men, that were 38.4% and 44.4% respectively; the antibodies detected by immunofluorescence test were IgG binding in the acrosome or neck and tail of spermatozoa

9.Study on anti-sperm antibody in the patient before and after vasovasostomy
Journal of Medical Research 2001;16(3):3-6
Vasectomy has been a popular means of male contraception because the operation is simple, inexpensive, and effective. Although vasectomy is often regarded as permanent, for a variety of reasons (children and their wife were died, divorce, remarriage) some individuals wish to regain fertility. The Franklin- Duker’s agglutination test a prospective study was conducted to evaluate the antisperm antibody of 30 men before and after vasectomy revarsal. Rabbit’s antiserum antisperm was produced by physiopathologic - Immunological Department in Hanoi Medicine University, was made positive trial. The results was as follows: - 53.33% incidence of agglutination antisperm antibody wer found in vasectomized men before vasovasostomy. - 28.5% incidence of agglutination antisperm antibody were found after vasovasostomy for 4 to 6 months. Antisperm antibody before and after vasovasostomy had significant statistics (p<0.05) (53.33% and 28.5% respectively).

10.Analysis and perform human sperm vitality staining techniques
Journal of Medical Research 2005;39(6):25-30
Infertility is a common health problem. For investigating the reason of infertility in the man, semen analysis plays very important role. Vitality stain is one of semen analysis. It is rare use for diagnosing and evaluating the result of infertility treatment. Our objectives: (1) To submit a fully worked-out of vitality staining technique. (2) To compare the effects of eosin and trypan blue staining for measuring live and death sperms. Methods: 52 semen samples were analyzed, compared the rate of death sperm base on the time after staining by eosin and trypan blue. Results: The average time for staining sperms by eosin: 16 seconds, by trypan blue: 19.67 seconds. The best process are: Mix 1 volume of eosin and 4-5 volume of semen, 1 volume of trypan blue and 2 volume of semen. Conclusions: (1) The more staining time, the more number of death sperm. (2) In vitality staining technique: The volume of semen should must be more than volume of stain chemical.
