Objective To investigate the influence of abnormal lipid metabolism on prognosis and quality of life in patients with severe COPD. Methods 134 patients with severe COPD in our hospital from September 2013 to January 2015 were selected as research objects, and their blood lipid levels were detected. The patients were divided into the normal group (n=61) and the low level group (n=73) according to the test results of lipid levels. 1-year mortality rate was statistically analyzed in both groups , and the WHOQOL-BREF health survey profile was applied to assess quality of life before and after treatment. Results 1-year survival rate in the normal group was 90.16%(55/61), which was higher than 73.97%(54/73) in the low level group (χ2=5.741, P=0.017). As compared with the normal group, the scores on physiological function, environment, social relationship, mental state, spirit / religious / belief, and total quality of lifewere markedly lower in the low level group after treatment (P < 0.05). The correlation analysis showed that plasma levels of TC, TG, and HDL-C were negatively correlated with 1-year mortality rate in patients with severe COPD (P < 0.05) but positively related with all dimensions in quality of life; plasma HDL-C level was positively related with 1-year mortality rate (P < 0.05), but negatively related with all dimensions in quality of life in patients with severe COPD (P < 0.05). Conclusions For patients with severe COPD, abnormal lipid metabolism is closely related with prognosis and quality of life. We should pay attention to nutritional support and control of abnormal lipid metabolism in those patients , leading to improvement of prognosis and quality of life.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingyi Decoction (a preparation of Chinese herbal medicine) between two different routes of the administration by using nasogastric tube or nasojejunal tube for treatmnent of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods A total of 79 SAP patients enrolled were randomly divided into nasogastric tube group (n =41) and nasojejunal tube group (n =38) according to the random number table method. In addition to the conventional therapy, they were treated with Qingyi Decoction administered by using nasogastric tube or nasojejunal tube. Results After treatment for 14 days, the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP),procalcitonin (PCT) and white blood cell count (WBC),urinary bladder pressure, and APACHE Ⅱ score in nasojejunal tube group were significantly lower than those in nasogastric tube group (P < 0.05).The time required for the recovery of bowel sounds, length of abnormal serum amylase persistence, the duration of abdominal pain, the time necessary for mechanical respiratory support in nasojejunal tube group was significantly shorter than those in nasogastric tube group. The blood fungus infection rate and pulmonary fungus infection rate in nasojejunal tube group were significantly lower than those in nasogastric tube group, and 28-day survival rate in nasojejunal tube group was significantly higher than that in nasogastric tube group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The nasojejunal tube route for the administration of Qingyi Decoction for the treatment of SAP can effectively alleviate the severity of patient's condition, shorten the time required for improving clinical symptoms, reduce the incidence of morbidity and mortality, and it is worthy of further popularization in clinical practice.

The adjacent anatomy of the pelvis is complicated, with digestive, urinary, reproductive and other organs as well as important blood vessels and nerves. Therefore, accurate resection of pelvic tumors and precise reconstruction of defects after resection are extremely difficult. The development of medical 3D printing technology provides new ideas for precise resection and personalized reconstruction of pelvic tumors. The “triune” application of 3D printing personalized lesion model, osteotomy guide plate and reconstruction prosthesis in pelvic tumor limb salvage reconstruction treatment has achieved good clinical results. However, the current lack of normative guidance standards such as preparation and application of 3D printing personalized lesion model, osteotomy guide plate and reconstruction prosthesis restricts its promotion and application. The formulation of this consensus provides normative guidance for 3D printing personalized pelvic tumor limb salvage reconstruction treatment.
