Chinese Journal of Immunology 2001;17(4):218-220
Objective:To study the clinical value of serumsoluhle CD8 antigen(sCD8)inpatients withGraves disease(GD).Methods:The level of serum sCD8 was detected by ELISA in40 healthy controls and 46 GD Patients.Serial measurement were carried out in 28 patientsbefore and after trea treatment with PTU. Results: Serum sCD8 levels were increased signifiantly in untreated GD patients as compared with conrols(21.91 ±9.13 kU/Lvs9.84±3.08kU/L, P <0.001).After treatment with PTU for 2 to 7 months,sCD8 levels tetumed to normal when eu-thyroidism was esta established in 22 patients(9.67 ± 5. 14 kU/L) but remained high in 6 unmiproved patients(38.74 ± 9.89 kU/L). No statisticalrelationship was found between sCD8 and T3、T4、TSH、TGA、 TMA.Conchusion: The level of serum sCD8 correlate well with disease activityand may be of value in disease prognosis. PTU show some suppressor effect on immune.
4.The investigation on equipment (SPECT) performance in nuclear medicine
China Medical Equipment 2015;(10):9-11
Objective:Through 51 SPECT and SPECT/CT systems for performance test results of the collation and analysis, to understand the status of the operation of the SPECT and SPECT/CT systems, and in-depth analysis of indicators and find out the weak links and puts forward suggestions for improvement. Methods:According to the NEMA standards and requirements of the manufacturer, the systems have been tested on intrinsic uniformity, intrinsic spatial linearity, intrinsic spatial resolution, maximum count rate, system sensitivity, system spatial resolution and tomographic spatial resolution. Results:The results show that the majority of SPECT or SPECT/CT systems can pass the test;the failure rate is 9.80%. And the failures mainly show intrinsic uniformity and intrinsic spatial linearity. Conclusion:It is effective to improve the equipment performance by doing well in the daily quality control, regular maintenance and calibration, reducing factors that influence the inherent uniformity and inherent linear.
5.Clinical Observation of Depression Following Cerebral Apoplexy Treated by Scalp-acupuncture
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(5):15-16
Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of scalp-acupuncture on post-apoplectic depression. Methods: Twenty-nine patients with depression due to cerebral apoplexy were treated by scalp-acupuncture and compared with 28 cases of medicine group chosen randomly. Results: In scalp-acupuncture group, the total effective rate was 89. 6%. In medicine group (control group), the total effective rate was 71.4%. Conclusion:The result showed that the therapeutic effect in scalp-acupuncture group was obviously better than that in medicine group (P<0.05).
6.Analysis on hospitalization expenses of elderly inpatients covered by medical insurance in Beijing and the influential factors
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2013;29(7):499-502
Objective To analyze hospitalization expenses and influential factors of elderly inpatients with medical insurance, and to provide scientific evidences for curbing hospitalization expenses and adjusting medical insurance policy. Methods Based on hospitalization data derived from Beijing town during 2007-2011 from 65082 elderly urban inpatients under medical insurance, descriptive analysis and multiple stepwise linear regression methods were used to analyze the hospitalization expense and its influential factors. Results The last 5 year witnessed rising hospitalization expense and average hospitalization expense per admission of elderly patients with medical insurance; among the components of hospitalization expense,cardiovascular/cerebrovascular/tumor/respiratory system diseases cause the heaviest medical burden; days of stay, hospital level,out-of-pocket proportion are the most important influential factors on their hospitalization expense per time. Conclusion The hospitalization expense of elderly patients with medical insurance keeps growing. Therefore, shorter days of stay, rational referral of patients to appropriate hospitals, adjusting out-of-pocket proportion would be effective measures of curbing hospitalization expense.
7.Mechanism of resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to carbapenems
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the mechanism of resistance of clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to carbapenems. Methods Fifty-eight strains of imipenem-and meropenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated.Modified K-B technique was adopted in the susceptibility test by adding ?-lactamases inhibitors and efflux pumps inhibitors to M-H agar plates. The refined three-dimensional extract test was used to detect ?-lactamases.The genes of metallo-enzyme IMP,VIM,as well as outer membrane porin D2(OprD2) were analyzed with polymerase chain reaction. Results Among the 58 strains of carbapenems-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa,53 produced over-expressed active efflux and continuously produced large amont of AmpC enzyme,15 of which were accompanied by the loss of OprD2,and 1 of which were accompanied by extended spectrum ?-lactamases(ESBLs).Among the 5 strains which neither produced over-expressed active efflux nor ?-lactamases,only 1 was found with OprD2 gene deletion.Metallo-enzyme was not detected in any of the 58 strains. Conclusion The mechanism of resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to carbapenems was mainly the production of the over-expressed active efflux combined with the continuous production of large amount of AmpC enzyme.Sixteen of the strains were accompanied by the loss of OprD2 gene.

Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2015;35(10):767-770
Objective To analyze the influence factors on, and the relationship between, the system performance parameters by testing SPECT equipment. Methods By reference to National Electrical Manufactures Association standards and manufacturer's specifications, the performances of a total of 31 SPECTs in 12 provinces were measured, for the first time, with regard to their system spatial resolution (SSR) , system planar sensitivity (SPS) and tomographic spatial resolution (TPR).Results The results were as follows: (7.90 ± 0.62) mm for SSR, with the highest 9.46 mm and the lowest 7.04 mm;(78.54± 13.17)s-1· MBq-1 for SPS, with the highest 123.80 s-1 · MBq-1 and the lowest 56.70 s-1·MBq-1;and (13.12 ± 2.59) mm for TSR, with the highest 18.13 mm and the lowest 8.45 mm.These values indicated a nearly consistent upward and downward trend and could meet the clinical requirements by comparison with the manufactuer' s specifications. Conclusions Mutual restrictions have been shown between SSR and SPS.Increased thickness of the system crystal plane can improve the SPS, but also has a negative impact on the SSR.For all the above reasons, it is the optimum solution to choose the right type of collimator and crystal thickness for different clinical applications.
