Purpose To discuss changes of macular choriocapillaris hemodynamics in AMD. Methods Eighty six eyes of 86 patients underwent ICGA,including macular drusen in 15 eyes of 15 patients,exudative AMD in 52 eyes of 52 patients,atrophic AMD in 19 eyes of 19 patients,for the observation of macular choriocapillaris perfusion. ObjectiveTo observe and estimate the image characters of indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) and fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) in atrophic age-related macular degeneration(AMD) and macular drusen.MethodsFFA, ICGA and fundus photography were performed on 95 eyes of 73 atrophic AMD patients, including 19 patients (26 eyes) with depigmentation and atrophy of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), 15 (30 eyes) with macular drusen, and 39 (39 fellow eye) with unilateral exudative AMD. ResultsIn 26 eyes with depigmentation and atrophy of RPE, the result of FFA of 24 eyes with depigmentaion showed patch hyperfluorescence, and of ICGA showed patch hyperfluorescence and hypofluorescence on the late photographs; in 2 eyes with maplike atrophy of RPE, the result of FFA showed patch hyperfluorescence, and of ICGA showed choriocapillaris defect with sharply demarcated boundaries and hypofluorescence of large choroidal vessels. In 30 eyes with macular drusen, the result of FFA of 8 eyes with hard drusen showed hyperfluorescence, and of ICGA showed patch and spot hyperfluorescence; the result of FFA of 16 eyes with soft drusen showed hyperfluorescence, and of ICGA showed persistent patch hypofluorescence intermixed with cluster hyperfluorescence; and the result of FFA of 6 eyes with both soft and hard drusen showed hyperfluorescence, and of ICGA showed patch hyperfluorescence intermixed with hypofluorescence. When it was hypofluorescence in ICGA in patients with macular drusen, larger quantity and range of fluorescence were found in FFA than in ICGA; when it was hyperfluorescence in ICGA, smaller quantity and range of fluorescence were found in FFA than in ICGA. In 39 fellow eyes of unilateral exudative AMD, 32 or 31 eyes, examined by ICGA or FFA, had abnormal fluorescence of drusen and depigmentation and atrophy of RPE damage.ConclusionsSimultaneous examination of ICGA and FFA can be useful for accurate evaluation of fundus image characters of types of angiography in atrophic AMD.

OBJECTIVE:To approach the correlations of carbamazepine concentration in serum with clinical therapeutic effect,dosage,sex,age and body weight in epileptic children.METHODS:158 monitoring records for serum concentration of carbamazepine in children with epilepsy in our clinical pharmacy department were consulted retrospectively.Data such as serum concentration,sex and age were recorded into data base and were analyzed using SPSS 13.0 software.RESULTS:No significant correlation was noted between serum concentration of carbamazepine in epileptic children and sex.However,serum concentration of carbamazepine was closely correlated with clinical therapeutic effect,dosage,age and body weight.CONCLUSION:The individual difference in the metabolic processes of carbamazepine was concerned with age and body weight,so it's necessary to make individualized regime according to child's specific condition and monitoring results.

Objective To discuss the image of indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) about high myopia. Methods Tweenty seven patients (54 eyes) with high myopia underwent ocular examination, fundus color photography, simultaneous ICGA and fluorescein angiography (FFA) with the confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope.The findings for the two modes of amgiographies were compared. Results Lacquer crack was evident on ICGA in 19 eyes among which the focal, plaque choroidal neovascularization (CNV) were apparent in the middle part of lacquer cracks in 10 eyes (52.6%) .In comparison the lacquer cracks were seen in only 7 eyes on FFA. Choroidal capillary atrophy was seen on ICGA and FFA in 14 eyes and ICGA shew thick choroidal vessels in 3 eyes. Conclusion ICGA is superior to FFA for showing choroidoretinal degeneration and atrophy,lacquer crack and CNV in high myopic eyes, and conduce to evaluating prognosis.

Objective:To establish the determination method for icariin in Zhuyun Capsules. Methods: The main active component icariin of Herba Epimedii was determined by TLC scanning. Results: This methods was quick, simple, accurate and reproducible. Conclusion: This method can be used as one of quality control standards for Zhuyun Capsules.

Antibiotic-resistance has become a serious problem to human health. Innovative approaches are urgently required for both antimicrobial drug discovery and reversal of resistance. Great success has been achieved since the introduction of antisense technology. This review focuses on the applications of antisense technology in the aspects including identification and validation of novel antibacterial drug targets, screening of antibacterial drugs from natural products using hypersensitized strains engineered by inducible antisense RNA, and inhibition of antibiotic-resistance genes to reverse susceptibility of antibiotic-resistant strains to currently used antibiotics. In addition, the antibacterial activities, the shortcomings and prospects as antibacterial drugs of synthetic antisense oligodeoxynucleotides and their analogs are also assessed in this review.

Objective To investigate the significance of overexpression of P53 and bcl-2 protein in carcinogenesis of cervix. Methods 10 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasis(CIN) and 57 cases of invasive cancer were investigated with immunohistochemistry technique. Results The overexpresion of P53 protein in CIN and cervical cancer was significantly higher than that of control, respectively (P＜0.01). But there was no significant difference between CIN and cervical cancer(P＞0. 05). The immunoreactivity of bcl-2 in CIN was much more higher than that of control (P＜0.05). The positive rate and immunoreactivity of bcl-2 in cervical carcinoma were both remarkably higher than those of control (P＜0. 01) ,but there was no significant difference between CIN and cervical carcinoma (P＞0. 05). It was also found that there was a remarkably positive correlation between the overexpression of bcl-2 and P53 (P＜0.01). Conclusion Because of the loss of wtP53 function,the expression of bcl-2 can not be down-reguated,which is associated with the pathogenesis and development of cervical carcinoma.

A 37-year-old male patient presented with persistent generalized itching erythema and papules for more than 1 month.The patient had received surgical treatment for type B3 thymoma in stage Ⅳ.Five months prior to the presentation,he developed myasthenia gravis.He also complained of chronic diarrhea for two years.Physical examination revealed white patches in the oral mucosa as well as scaly erythema of varying size on the face,trunk and extremities.Lamellar scales could be seen after scratching,while removal of scales could not result in the appearance of bleeding points.There was scaly hyperkeratotic erythema of palms and soles.Histopathological examination revealed psoriasis-like epidermal hyperplasia and parakeratosis with multiple dyskeratocytes,and some of the dyskeratocytes were surrounded by lymphocytes.There was a perivascular infiltration with a small number of lymphocytes.Immunohistochemical study showed positive staining for CD3,CD4 (dermis),CD8 (epidermis) and CD45RO,but negative staining for CD20,CD68 and CD30.The patient was diagnosed as thymoma-associated graftversus-host-like disease,myasthenia gravis and mucosal candidiasis.After treatment with tacrolimus and prednisone,the condition was gradually relieved.

Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the written project approval Indexes System of Capital Medical Ddevelopment Research Foundation.We analyzed the approval results of application projects and proposed measures to improve the index system.Methods We evaluated its reliability with Cronbach's alpha coefficient,split-half reliability; validity was evaluated with contract validity and content validity,discrimination was studies according to discretion grouping law,and feasibility was studied with the percentage-of-completion method.Results ① Reliability:Cronbach's alpha coefficient of factor and total scores'and split-half reliability were all over 0.80.②Contract validity:the standard factor loading coefficients of the index system were over 0.70 (range:0.57～0.86),indicating path performed well.All factor loading coefficients were statistical significant (T-values were 30.49～54.25,all were over 1.96).Fit Indexes (RMSEA =0.065、NNFI =0.99、IFI =0.99、CFI =0.99、GFI =0.95、AGFI =0.93、X2 =1028.21、X2/DF =11.82) indicated the system's goodness of fit was good.③ Content validity:Scale-level CVI,S-CVI was 0.97 and Interrater agreement was 0.93,over 0.90,which indicated that indexes system's whole Content validity performed well.Except for the item Academic thought item-level CVI being 0.57 all items' item-level CVI were 1.00.④Discrimination:Discrimination index of every primary index,secondary index and total score ranged from 0.51 to 0.76 (all were over 0.40),meaning that discrimination performed extremely well.Conclusion The indexes system's reliability,contract validity,content validity and discrimination conformed to the actual application projects appraisal results.
