Objective To analyze the clinical characters,treatment effects and influential factors of gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases,and to explore the reasonable clinical treatment protocols.Methods The clinical data of 24 gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases who were admitted to Peoples Liberation Army Hospital from April 2007 to April 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The 1-,2-,3-and 4-year cumulative survival rates of hepatic metastases patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors were 91％,72 ％,22 ％ and 6 ％,respectively.The 1-,2-and 3-year survival rates of the patients treated with imatinib after operation were 91％,70 ％,28 ％,respectively,the median survival time was 26 months,the mortality rate was 27.3 ％ (3/11),and 9 cases got the tumor complete elimination.The 1-,2-and 3-year survival rates of the patients treated without imatinib after operation were 90 ％,68 ％,18 ％,respectively,the median survival time was 24 months,the mortality rate was 14.3 ％ (2/13),and 12 cases got the tumor complete elimination.The recurrence rate after complete resection was 28.6 ％(4/14),and the mortality rate was 7.1％ (1/14).The mortality rate after incomplete resection was 40 ％ (4/10).Conclusion Surgical treatment of eliminating the primary and metastatic lesion,and adjuvant therapy of imtinib could prolong the survival time,reduce postoperative recurrence rate and improve the quality of life,which are the effective methods for the treatment of the gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases.

Objective To develop a portable medical drop speed monitoring equipment which can conveniently control the drop speed in infusion.Methods Taking the monolithic integrated circuit of 89C51 as a core,such units were designed as the master control unit,keyboard input system,drop speed detection,drop speed control,digital display,acousto-optics alarm circuit and electromotor drive.All circuit module units were connected in monolithic integrated circuit.The gathering data were transferred to monolithic integrated circuit in the form of electrical signals.After the operation,analysis and processing,monolithic integrated circuit transferred the data to demonstration module,electrical machinery and acousto-optics alarm circuit through the outlet.Results Automatically controlling the drop speed according to the difference of drop speed,this equipment can reach the required drop speed in 5~10s and maintain this speed with an error of 12 drops per minutes.Conclusion Portable medical drop speed monitoring equipment achieves the goal of the task and meets the clinical requirement.This equipment is worthy of popularizing.

Objective To investigate the influence of circadian rhythm,gender and stain on the tail suspension test in mice.Methods The immobility time of male and female Kunming,BALB/C and C57BL/6 mice in daytime or night were analyzed.Results ① The immobility time of Kunming mice during the day ( ( 114.24 ±11.18)s) was significantly more than that at night ( (65.39 ± 19.17)s).② The immobility time of male BALB/C mice( (68.57 ± 11.27 ) s) was significantly less than that of female BALB/C mice( ( 113.33 ± 3.87 ) s).③ The immobility time of C57BL/6 mice was significant more than that of Kunming and BALB/C mice under the same condition.Conclusions Circadian rhythm,gender and strain could significantly affect the immobility time of mice in tail suspension test.To increase the sensitivity and reliability of the tail suspension test,male Kunming and female BALB/C mice should be tested during the daytime.Compared to Kunming and BALB/C mice,the results of C57BL/6 mice were more stable.

Objective To investigate the influence of nursing intervention on perioperative psychological status and treatment compliance of patients undergoing breast augmentation. Methods 82 patients were investigated with self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-designed mental activity questionnaire on patients with breast augmentation. And they were divided into the intervention group(42 patients) and the control group(40 patients) randomly. The control group was given routine treatment and nursing. The intervention group received systematic nursing intervention such as psychological needs,confidentiality, the relevant specialist knowledge and explanation and prevention o complications besides routine treatment and nursing care. The perioperative psychological status and treatment efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The worrying degree about operation - related problems was lower in the intervention group compared with that of the control group, but SAS and SDS score showed no significant difference one day before operation between the two groups. SAS and SDS score of the intervention group were improved before discharge compared with those before operation and were also better than those of the control group. Conclusions Patients undergoing breast augmentation surgery subject to a variety of perioperative psychological barriers, systematic nursing intervention can significantly improve the psychological state and treatment compliance, make them to acquire the unification of perfect body shape and psychology with best physical and mental status during perioperative stage.

Objective To study the effects of treating herpes zoster with the combination of Chinese and western medicine.Methods 160 cases of herpes zoster were randomly recruited into a treatment group(n=80),and a control group (n=80).The control group was treated with westem medicine(acyclovir,ethacridine solvents,and vitamin B6 and B12).The treatment group was administrated with Chinese medicines,acupuncture and cupping on the basis of treats in the control group Results The total effective rate was 100%in the treatment group and 72.5%in the control group.There was significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=23.85,P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Chinese and western medicine is effective in treating herpes zoster and worthy of generalization.

Objective To study the topical application of Tuhuai decoction and its disassembled prescriptions on skin function of mice with epidermal hyperplasia, and to provide a theoretical basis for the treatment of psoriasis. Methods According to the Denda method, skin barrier function in mice was destructed with tape, to produce epidermal hyperplasia model. Tuhuai decoction and its disassembled prescriptions with different concentrations of water and alcohol extracts were external applied on the mice. Since the beginning of the treatment, loss of skin moisture of both sides the trunk was detected with Multi-functional instrument at every day before using the medicine. Results Tuhuai decoction had function of reducing the amount of water loss of skin. The disassembled prescriptions, such as Angelica group, safflower group, Danshen root group, and water and ethanol extracts of Prtmella group can reduce the amount of water loss of skin effect. Conclusion Water and ethanol extracts of Tuhuai decoction has the functions of reducing water loss of skin and resisting hyperplasia,suitable for treating psoriasis by external application, setting a foundation for clinical treatment of psoriasis.

A method for residual determination of 5 pyrethroid pesticides in Anoectochilus roxburghii by cloud point extraction-back extraction-GC-MS was established. PEG 6000 was used as extraction agent and isooctane was used for back-extractant. The con- tent was calculated by external standard method. The linear range was from 15 to 2 000 μg x kg(-1) with the good correlation coefficients (0.955-0.999). The recoveries at spiked concentrations of 50-500 μg x kg(-1) ranged from 85.12% to 101.6%. The limit of detection and quantification of 5 pyrethroid pesticides were in the range of 0.63-3.10 μg x kg(-1) and 2.10-10.31 μg x kg(-1), respectively. The proposed method can be applied to the determination of pyrethroid pesticides residues in A. roxburghii.

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of retroperitoneal laparoscopy for adrenal tumor and report the experience with this procedure for adrenal surgery.Methods From June 2003 to March 2007,we performed 24 laparoscopic tumorectomy via the retroperitoneal approach.Results All procedures were successful. The average operative time was 1.7 hours(ranging from 1 to 3.5 hours).All patients had no need of transfusion and no complication.All patients recovered.The average hospital stay was 4.5 days(ranging from 3 to 8 days).Patholog- ic diagnosis:10 cases of nonfunctional adenoma,6 cases of primary aldosteronism,4 cases of adrenal cyst,2 cases of pheochromocytoma,2 cases of Cushing's adenoma.Conclusions Retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgery for adrenal oc- cupying lesion had such advantages as minimal invasive,safe and effective,early recovery and shorter stay in hospital. It should be the flint choice of treatment for adrenal occupying lesion.
